This is our 3rd stop in the last 2 months, at this hotel on our way to Chicago.
Friendly staff and comfortable beds.

Rooms are a tad dated, but overall not bad. We did have a problem with a circuit breaker tripping, so our bathroom had no lights until maintenance fixed it. Also the sink and shower had zero hot water the morning we were leaving. The a/c-heat was very loud, and made a clunking noise when running. We were very satisfied with the continental breakfast, as it had several choices for a good bite to eat before leaving.

I have to say, they need to replace the hallway carpeting, but the service was really good. Anytime there was a problem the front desk staff handled it quick and efficient. THe cleaning staff were always on the move and very helpful when you needed assistance.

Ladies at check in were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was adequate. Very quiet stay. Close to many stores and restaurants.

I was indifferent on this hotel. It was close to the amenities that we were looking for, very affordable, but it wasn't the cleanest looking. The room was just okay. Too many spiders for my liking in the bathroom. The takeaway for me is first impressions. The hallway carpets no matter where we walked were not appealing whatsoever. Large stains everywhere and even in the stairwell. If I could make any suggestion, it would be either replace them or have them professionally cleaned. This shouldn't be the first thing that your clients see. Our room carpet was decent, but damp. Our socks looked very worn after the day. It just seemed like the cleanliness part was overlooked for all the carpets. The food was very good and hot. A++ for that. Lots to choose from. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Shout out to Joshua! So 4 stars for me overall. Change out that carpet :)

I’m not sure how this place has solid reviews. Upon entering the lobby, the entire place smelled like stale cigarettes. The one upside is that the lady working the front was very friendly. Upon entering the room, there was a candy wrapped and pencil in the floor in the corner. There was dirt and stains in the bathroom. Later that night, we pulled back the sheets to find a dark stain (looked to maybe be a coffee stain?) on the sheet. Even worse, there was a big yellow stain (looked to be pee) on the comforter. I’ve never been so disgusted. I don’t care what some of these reviews say, avoid this hotel unless you’re absolutely desperate.

Staff very responsive, but first room we were sent had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Second room was nice. Convenient location. No elevator and wife uses walker. Stayed on first floor so clerk had to change reservation. Clean but dated appearance

The staff was truly amazing and very accommodating. We had a boat that needed charged over night ans the staff set us up with a room that we could charge the boat and park right at our room.

It was just a minor incident, arguably our own fault because we left the cap off of a refillable water bottle overnight, but a little bug surprised us in it the next morning, a sink-type of bug that likes moisture. Everything else was satisfactorily clean; the front desk staff was friendly and we appreciated the included breakfast.

The room and property are shoddy. Breakfast was sad. The staff is amazing and the best service. If staying for the night, it is fine. Longer stays, maybe not.

The hotel itself wasn’t terrible at all. It was actually the staff. The man that checked me in seemed really nice but I had some issues with privacy. Whoever the man was , he got my information from check in and called my personal cell phone and left text messages asking inappropriate questions. I had to block the number. Unfortunately, the room I was placed the window was in front of the area where the staff take their smoke breaks.. I didn’t appreciate looking out my window and seeing him in front of it. I felt unsafe. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I definitely won’t be back for that reason.

The staff was great! I however didnt enjoy that the room smelled very musty. The room was clean,it just didnt smell good. The bathroom was tiny. The bathroom door touched the toilet when opened. The bed was hard in my opinion,then again Im use to a fully foam matress and not a bed with springs. Other then those few things,it was decent.

This hotel was pretty clean and in decent shape for the price. The man checking us in for the night was very friendly and helpful. I didn't eat any of the continental breakfast but it didn't look too shabby.

The room was surprisingly nice, beds comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and bright. We have never stayed at a property previously, and were not aware of the no elevator situation, which was not an issue for us for one night but if I were staying for a weekend I might not be as flexible with all the luggage etc to haul up and down. For the price - it was a great deal.

Decided to stay here since it was the halfway point on my drive home. Arrived late at night, so I didn’t spend much time awake in my room. But everything was in really good shape. Both staff members I talked to when checking in and checking out were very nice as well. Between all of that and the price of a room, I will definitely be staying here again on future trips.

Definitely an older building, not at all what I expected. Bathroom small, toilet handle has to be held to flush, hallways needing at least a paint job to look better.
Bed was comfortable and hotel was easy to get to off of the highway. Location was very nice, but I won’t stay here again. I’ll pay more for a hotel that is in better shape.

This place is nasty. While it was cheaper than other hotels I did not expect to have my room smell like straight mildew and the curtains to have black mold stains all over it. The toilet ran on and off all night and we were right next to the side entrance and the door banged shut which was extremely loud. The exhaust fan in the bathroom sounded like it was on its last leg and.the mural on the wall behind the beds looked like it was probably hiding mold. Do not recomment

The breakfast area was sub par.
bagels out in the open and fruit flies on EVERYTHING.
I didnt even make myself a coffee due to the amount of bugs swarming the whole area.
The breakfast attendant was too busy talking so loud at the checkin counter to do her job.

Staff was personable, but the conditions of the hotel were sub par. Pur 1st room smelled like mildew. We entered and it sounded like water was running. I checked the faucets and nothing was on. I then stepped onto the carpet near the restroom with my socks and it was soaking wet and found a dirty towel in the bathroom hanging on the shower curtain. Had to go and get another room. Inconveniently, had to get my key programmed 3 times because it would not work to get into the hotel and to my room.
But hotel was in a good location next to police station, town, and freeway access.

Over night stay traveling from Illinois to South Carolina. Front desk person at check in could use some people skills and try saying Hello when someone walks in and Thank you. The beds were comfortable, but the accessible shower could definitely need a better shower head, that can be used without a struggle! Ice machines not working properly. Hallways very dated.

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds. They were not queens. When I asked the desk about it they said that they are queens, just small and people have commented on it before. The only reason we chose this hotel because they had 2 queens instead of 2 double beds. Also there were no sprinklers in the romm which i have not seen in a hotel in years. Is that even ip to code?

Convenient location, staff were fantastic and friendly, room surfaces were clean and the room smell a ok. Breakfast was decent. Bed was very comfy. Cons…stained ceiling tile right above the toilet, probably from the toilet above. Gross. Lots of mildew in the bathroom on the wall under the counter and the floor of the tub was bouncy. Bathroom fan operates but does not remove steam or odors.
All in all a decent place to stay for the cost. Just think a bit of extra care would make this place excellent. Not perfect but I would stay here again.
