What a pleasant surprise Hotel Belle Vue was. We stayed in the family room and it was spacious, clean, and everything we needed and more. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious!

My only negative, was the bed. It was two twins put side by side but they easily moved apart and were not made up as one bed with the filler piece like most hotels do. Other thank that it was very good.

Hotel Bellevue is a charming hotel very near train station and many great restaurants. The staff was especially nice and the breakfast was the best we had in Europe. Loved our stay

We loved our two day stay in this little gem of a hotel. The staff was kind and courteous as we checked in and helpful with explaining the transportation card and hotel amenities. Our room was clean and airy. We appreciated the balcony views of the river and mountains. The included breakfast buffet was a delicious surprise. We would definitely return!

The views from AAre river are breathtaking. The waters are turquoise in color. It is walkable to train station,shopping, restaurants. The staff are helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay. Our balcony looked over the river and had a bistro table and chairs to enjoy our dinner. Very clean and super comfortable bed.

Great hotel - be sure to stay on the river side of the hotel as the other side is right on the train track! Delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, nice bar, cute location!

Staff is welcoming and helpful. on both days, house keeping did not vacuum the room, condiments were not refilled.

Wonderful stay at the hotel. Easy walking distance to everything in town and staff was very helpful in pointing out attractions, restaurants, etc. The room had a fantastic view of the river. Only wish we had more time to sit on the balcony and enjoy it! Quick walk to Interlaken West rail station.

We had a great stay at the hotel. It is very conveniently located in Interlaken; we were able to walk all around town with no problem. We booked a room with a river view, which was definitely worth it. I would stay here again.

Much better than expected!!

The property is well located with restaurants, stores, bus stop and train station nearby. The cleanliness in the room was a bit sub standard as well as the staff were not that friendly (as per standards for a 4 star hotel). I travelled with a toddler and do not recommend this hotel if you are traveling with babies/toddlers.

All in all, very good property. Our rooms had a balcony facing the beautiful river. Close to shopping, walk trails and train/bus stations. Food service is limited outside of breakfast, and there is limited staff help after 10 pm as there is no staff at the hotel from 10 pm to 7 am. The clothes cabinet & the safe is on a mobile cabinet and not too strong. Overall good value for the area.

Check in: unfriendly front desk lady, she did not seem to interact at all. when we arrived, nobody said hello or anything. She did not like to be asked questions. Room: only one bottle of water provided for two nights stay. shampoo was not refilled. Breakfast: small spread, dishes left empty without refilling. had to ask multiple times. Staffs: unfriendly, indifferent Will not stay here again.

The hotel is in an amazing location next to the stream that connects the two lakes. The majority of the rooms have a balcony that over looks the stream which was a great feature. The building has been renovated with updated bathrooms having a frosted glass door and excellent rain shower. The lighting controls allow for dimming lights around the room and in the bathroom. There are two elevators in this 4-story hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Heidi Kiss checked us in and couldn’t have been more professional and personable throughout our 6-day stay. When leaving or returning for the day, if the front desk staff were not busy with someone, they would always greet you with a friendly comment. The staff that cleaned our room on a daily basis were also friendly and efficient. They provide a great buffet breakfast for an additional price. In selecting this hotel I did read negative reviews that concerned me, but that is not what my wife and I experienced. In summary, I came away with the feeling that the staff really cared about what you think of their hotel which made me feel more at home than just a hotel visitor. I hope the next time I get a chance to visit that I will have the same experience. As for sharing a negative comment, it is a smaller older hotel that isn’t prominently located on the main street with a grand entrance, and I didn’t see any parking. But for me that is what makes its charm and what I wanted in my vacation stay in Switzerland.
