Fabulous hotel in Barcelona centre. Close to everything central.
Front desk staff went above and beyond when I needed a taxi on a busy evening trying to get to Barcelona FC game. There was no cabs available on line or on road but one of the girl desk staff actually went around the corner to hail a cab and she arrived in the rear of the cab to the front of the hotel where I was waiting. Brilliant result... ⚽💯🎯 My only negative was my room did not have a view it faced on a Court yard with no street view and natural light, and also there was noise some mornings in the corridor I believe from cleaning staff? Although I can't be 100% sure that they were cleaning staff. On last day my room had a power outage but was quickly fixed when I advised front desk. But really Nice hotel, I loved the rooftop terrace & I really enjoyed my stay there.

It is a very old hotel that is in need of renovation! The breakfast needs an upgrade, need more continental options. Otherwise Staff was very nice and helpful. There is a nice rooftop where one can see the Sagrada Family.

The front desk staff and bell hops were excellent and welcoming . Pool and rooftop views were amazing . The hotel is historic and still beautiful. Location was excellent and many dining and shopping options nearby . I highly recommend.

Rooms are roomy and quiet even though faces the street.
Bathroom with shower, bathtub and 2 sinks. Needs a little mildew removed , I mentioned it to the manager .
Didn’t try the breakfast.
Hotel close to shopping, restaurant, great location. Definitely recomend staying there. Enjoy as much as we did it.

If you like to hear threesomes across the hallway in EVERY detail, screaming baby at your headboard and a yelling mother and son next door...then this is the place for you. How staff/security didnt intervene with these paper thin walls that this hotel has at 2am is a pure joke

Beds are horrible. Mattresses are very old and terrible. It feels like we were slain box spring instead of mattress. Property looks run down

The property is a bit old and not what I expected . The facilities in the room were inadequate - there was nothing at all in the fridge , no mini bar and not even proper espresso or teacups but paper cups. I do not like drinking coffee from paper cups and had to buy espresso cups myself. The sound proof was not good either so I could hear the chatting next door in the evening.
The best thing about this hotel is the staff - all very helpful and friendly. The location is very convenient too .

Only thing I didn’t like was the room temperature that you can’t control. Air conditioning was on and I’m usually always cold so it was uncomfortable needing to layer up to accommodate the cold room. Even trying to turn off the air conditioning, I felt like it was still on. The location was great lots of things walkable distances (restaurants, 24 hr small mini markets, Barcelona hop on and off buses, bars, shops etc).

I appreciated the double sink and the quietness. The staff was not the friendliest I have encountered. Having to wait to pick up the key was not customer friendly either. One time I waited 7 minutes to pick up the key even though the staff saw me standing there patiently as they were checking in others. Did like the location since close to everything.

A luxury hotel is only as good as their worst front desk employee and unfortunately they have a rude one overnight. I will probably book a suite elsewhere in Barcelona next time
