After multiple attempts to try and cancel the Friday reservation, the hotel employees, and manager refused to refund us one of the evenings after we called over a week before.
We lost money for the Friday
The room itself was very dirty. We have photos of the sheets, being stained and hair in the corners of the bathroom. Overall, the cleanliness was very filthy.
We will not stay there again.

Great value for the money. They were doing renovations while I was staying there in one wing of the hallway, but the completed reno's did look very nice. My only main complaint is that there's no elevator, but other than that - great hotel!

Our business trip saw us be asked to leave the hotel in the middle of the stay on 15 minutes notice due to "renovations" - the stay was booked 4 days before so the hotel knew of the renovations on the floor. We moved two people to new rooms while one person was moved to the Best Western next door. ZERO compensation was offered. ZERO returned phone call from the manager. This is BRUTAL EXPERIENCE. There should be refunds on the rooms but i'm not holding my breath.

Entire property under construction, including right outside the room. Serious construction that had equipment running all day.
Asked for a 30 minute extension after a two day trip and was actually removed from my room 4 minutes before checkout time.
Staff was rude, and inconsiderate.
Never again.

Ac stopped working , stains in bathtub, some kind of noise like a generator or something all night not able to sleep was not worth my money very very disappointed

Well the room smelled so bad when we got there that we had to spray a ton of perfume to get it at least decent. There were stains on top of comforter. We both slept on top without even looking at sheets as we had blankets of our own.
Keys didn’t work initially so had to go back down and wait again. People before us same thing. The manager and big wig that were there next morning were very friendly and welcoming though on way out. And a $250 hold on the room, that was advertised as $100. Staff member just said yes we’ve asked them to change that, not cool! The hotel cost was even less. What could we possibly ruin to cost that much in a room that was already poor? I usually like the Comfort Inn’s that I have stayed in, won’t be back to this one.

The property was close to the highway, staff were great. The building itself was looking a bit tired, time for a remodel. We turned the air conditioning on in the room and a bunch of white styrofoam flew out of it. Lack of areas to charge devices. All in all I’d rate this place 7 out of 10

The room was nice. Beds and washroom were clean. Functional tv. No elevator! $250 hold when Expedia indicated $100. No bell person, front desk attendant had to assist me with my bags leaving the front. Also my room wasn’t prepared, didn’t know which rooms were clean. Check out was slow. But later check out at 11 AM which is good.

It’s being used to house people from a group home. Not pleasant when you stay there for an 8 year old baseball tournament and they don’t even disclose it to you. Room also smelled like smoke and the hotel did NOTHING! Don’t stay there. Period.

Nice room at a good price, very clean and comfortable. Easy access from the maddeningly busy highway 401. Friendly competent staff, good price, excellent free breakfast. All a traveller needs.

Loved our room. Was very clean. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was great. Staff was amazing. Will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in the area.

On the first night, a group of workers were sitting on the end of their tailgate l, drinking beer till 1am in the morning. Which is no problem, but the loudness was beyond tolerable. Receptionist was apologetic, but still caused us a restless sleep. All other aspects were fine

The great staff was a definite plus. Room was very nice and clean and comfortable. However I have to say the morning staff was primo. They greet and assist . The young woman watching over the breakfast area was so upbeat and friendly no one could have had a bad day there. Desk personnel were so polite and helpful . I am a walker user and the staff consistently opened doors and asked if we needed anything. Will stay there again. Thank you.

Wasn’t bad room had a bit of a smell to it there were burn marks on all furniture and wall bath wasn’t the cleanest lamp and tv didn’t work was too tired to notify front desk

We came for a Jay's game. It is very close to the Go station. It makes it very convenient to get downtown. We will be back:)

Bef sheets had ink on it. Other than that it was ok.

Every time I’m in Oshawa I stayed at this Comfort Inn. It’s very quiet and clean, the staff are very friendly.

My room was not cleaned well, the tables had visible dirt and one of the beds sheets had obviously not been changed.
The room and hotel also smelled quite a bit like smoke.
