great stay , clean room , quiet highly recommend

Construction was going on in the parking lot. It looked like there were no parking spaces left until the desk clerk told us we can park at Tim Hortons because they rent the property from the hotel. Even then, trucks coming and going, parking in those spaces, heavy equipment at other times in the parking spaces....

Tried to leave at 6 am and am could not check out until 7 am as there is no one at the front desk. Very small rooms

Overall was cozy and served its purpose. However, I couldn't help but notice the hair in the tub, along with a used bar of soap on the edge of the tub with someone else's hair on it. Grosses me out the poor standard of cleaning so many hotels have these days. The room was also quite hot given the weather outside and the AC unit was basically useless; but, the staff were prompt in bringing up a fan when asked.

This hotel met our needs but was dated and not very comfortable. Beds sloped in at the middle and pillows were lumpy. Our room wasn't refreshed despite leaving the sign on the door for refresh.

Define parking as it is a mix of hotel and Tims at the rear building needs some renovation

I'm not actually handicapped, but having short-term knee problems - so was a little surprised to find an entrance accessed only by stairs and no possible ramp. Check-in was easy, room was comfortable, bathroom rather battered but clean. Fine for a one-night stay

Building needs upgrades

As i was going through the arduous process of moving from vancouver island to anchorage alaska. Staying at this sandman hotel was a breath of fresh air. The room the location parking and everything a hotel should be was there. The best part of it all though. Was the lovely couple working the front. Not only were they extremely informative about any question i had about the town and whats ahead of me, but they were like a ray of sunshine and smile from a stranger that i so needed. My stay was abundantly great in so many ways. Thank you sandman hotel managment and the front desk team for going above and beyond for me. During my epic move across the country! 😊

Basic accommodation. Not fancy but that is ok. Bathroom needs a redo, tub/shower is cosmetically falling aprt

It was exceptionally clean. The staff was great, helping us get our luggage in the room. I'm handicapped and this facility is not set up to accomodate mobility issues with the flight of stairs to enter the motel.

Awesome experience along with a very helpful and cheerful staff. We had 2 small dogs with that they accommodated above expectations. Thank you for the wonderful stay

The property is dated, water was brown when turned on, had to wait 10 minutes for water to clear up. Sinks would not drain. Beds were terrible.

The staff there were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Also, there is a Tim Horton next to the hotel which was convenient for us.

It was ok

There was no level entry access to the building and because of mobility issues, this made it difficult to carry our bags into the building. Thankfully the manager left the main desk to help us up the stairs with our bags.

It is an easy walk through the downtown area for shops, food, and drinks. Staff was excellent, I had my dog with me and they brought us dog bowls and a treat for him:)

Pretty old hotel walls thin as paper. Great location

Management was wonderful. Very accommodating. But very strong odor of chemicals in first room we were given (it actually made my spouse sick) and in second room, toilet was broken and shower water came out yellow brown. ??? We are not complain-y but it was just a lot. Staff was great but hotel seems poorly maintained or short handed? Location great, view lovely.

This was just one night on a road trip and it served the purpose of providing room at reasonable cost for the night. Building is old, has not been updated and there was limited water pressure, and only a single Queen sized bed. Parking was also quite limited. The room was however quite clean.
