Hi there. This hotel has allot of potential but I have stayed there twice in the past year and conditions were the same. Our room smelled musty and our temperature was set to 60 but room stayed at 74 degrees. They are such nice rooms and is a nice hotel but it needs some tlc. The free breakfast and drinks at night were a nice added plus, but lines were long and things were broke (soda, juice) machines, I'm sure creating much more work for the staff that already seemed to be thin on a holiday weekend. I would suggest giving people who stay two drink tickets VS showing their card. The line might have been shorter and probably more cost effective. I did hear people taking about flooded rooms and no air. Good refurb in some key areas could make this an awesome hotel.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. My family and I arrived at hotel and checked in. We got to our room and room was hot (81 degrees). We just thought the AC was turned up so we adjusted it. About an hour later still not cool. I went to front desk to talk to them since our room phone wasn’t working. I get there and a different person then the one who checked us in said they knew rooms were hot and did I not hear them announce that AC wasn’t working and was being worked on and that the phones were out. I informed him I wasn’t told this at check in. They said they were actively working on it. We decided to go out to eat and see if when we got back it was better. We arrived back to hotel. I then spoke with another person and asked if we checked out and went to different hotel if we would be charged since we had been there for 3 hours they said we would get charged an early check out fee. He told me that they had just fixed the chiller and the rooms would be getting cooler. Long story our room never got cooler still stayed around 75-80 degrees. The room itself smell musty, had cracking in the bath tub and just was very dated. We were told that at checkout if we were uncomfortable they would issue a discount but because I booked through a third party I would have to contact them for discount. Horrible horrible experience. Would never stay there again.

We had no a/ , our room was 76 at night, phones didn't work, sink leaked and the room smelled strongly of mildew. At $220 per night, bad deal.

Reserved a 2B suite. Checked in late in evening. Room was not clean clothes were still in drawers. Toilet would not flush. Night desk clerk was nonchalant and didn't apologize nor initiate effort to remedy. No stationary engineer or handyperson on site to repair. I asked for another suite or two adjoining rooms, none available. I was able to move to a King suite. I had to remind the clerk of the lesser rate for this room. The hotel is in desperate need of refresh. It has lost its luster. Carpets deeply worn in hallways, etc. The redeeming factor is hotel is next to Honey Unhibited a lively and exciting restaurant with tasty menu selections and great vibe.

Room was clean, spacious and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. Great service. Beautiful atrium. Location was easy to find and accessible with a parking garage below the building. The area seems safe, is walkable and not far from major Cincinnati arenas. The bar vouchers were valid only for very restricted time but drink prices were reasonable. The materials in our room were not worn or damaged. Previous occupants caused damage in the bathroom, which had been partially repaired: shower rod had been nearly pulled from the walls, two pump dispensers had been pulled from the wall and sat on the bathroom counter and the sink was cracked. The bathroom fan was not working. Housekeeping was nearly flawless, though I did find some missed spots behind doors. Otherwise, the room and property was very clean and seemed well maintained. I would stay again without hesitation.

I've always been a fan of Embassy suites. I took my wife on our honeymoon to one in indianapolis. I enjoy the nightly manager's reception, as well as the morning breakfast. At this hotel the morning breakfast was fantastic! The manager's reception in the evening was equally as nice. My only concern with my stay here was the age and quality of the maintenance of the room. While it was serviceable and met the needs for spending the night, things like shower handles coming off in your hand and poor water pressure we're disappointing.

Always enjoy my stay here. The only issue were the room smelled overly strongly of bleach and the pillows were not as soft.

Love that it is pet friendly, but there is little green space for taking them out.

Stay away from this property - needs to be gutted!

Disrepair, Dirty, Took 2x to get into room d/t key cards needing reprogrammed, not enough bedding in room to make-up pull out couch, shower soap empty, inadequate shower curtain.

I will be contacting Hotels.com Too much to write From Cockroaches, to blood on sheets, to drug(appeared to be) in room, to food crushed in carpets ect....ect...ect

Our room was absolutely disgusting. I reached out via the Hilton app to start a claim and still don't have any response from them. There was mold, stained carpets, bed bugs, a nasty smell, and extremely overpriced.

Really nice place to stay at. Really nice and clean quiet . Food was good the breakfast I’m referring to.

The property is in desperate need of refurbishing. Not clean. Not what I was expecting for the price.

The staff was amazing

This property should be shut down and re-done. Lobby and lounge seating has stains and is so dirty, we didn’t even want to sit. Bar stools are patched up to keep from falling apart. The room was filthy. We definitely checked for bedbugs! Parts of the bathroom wall were peeling away due to leaks. No drainage in sink or shower. Carpets stained. The room smelled like urine and smoke. We ultimately checked out early. I wish I could give less than a 1 star.

Tub floor was chipping AC not working well & second room of suite had no AC!! No forks at breakfast 45 min before service ended

Great location. Easy walk to the ballpark over the bridge. Good breakfast. Really grand open lobby, low cost parking $12, huge room (living room + bedroom king), very comfortable. A little outdated, but comfortable enough for me. I'd stay again.

3rd party reservations treated like second class citizens.... Upgraded suite faces parking lot. No instructions for parking no cart for suitcases... Walked a block w luggage to get to the room. Had to ask for breakfast availability 3 times

The bathroom has some hair left in the tub and the shampoo and conditioner and soaps were empty. Blinds didn’t close very well. Other than that it was great. Breakfast was great- lots of options and an omelette station with a fantastic chef. Very nice facility. We loved our view of the river and downtown Cincinnati.

The room smelled terrible. The toilet ran non stop and the air conditioner was super loud. It needs to really be updated

Had computer issues but they got it all sorted out. The hotel overall looks very good. The rooms are very large. Somewhat dated but for the money is cool. Pool is small and too much chlorine. The Buffett In the morning with the view over the ocean is elite. I left my shorts there and they never got me them back and I’m still kinda mad about that

Close to the venue, what I didn’t like is the room had mildew scent, bathroom had no exhaust fan, and furniture in sitting area was torn and ripped, along with one being heavily stained. For the price I paid for two nights, I expected better.

Room had a funny musky smell

The tub had mold in the corners and the tub looked like a larger dirty dog walked through the tub. The evening reception consisted of chips, salsas, and hummus.

Everything was good except the cold room.

I checked in the day before we arrived. I was so excited to be in town for Cincyfest. When I got the hotel my room wasn’t ready. In fact it wasn’t ready for 2 hours. To me for my inconvenience I should have been compensated in some way but not even offered any help. I’ll never stay at this Embaassy Suites again.

My room smelled really bad—not dirty but almost …stale? It was unpleasant but the hotel was sold out. The AC in the room also couldn’t be altered and it was too warm for my taste (although it would have been considered normal for most) so it was uncomfortable for my stay.

The room was booked in advanced. We checked into room #730 when we opened the door there was a very foul mildew stenched odor. We left the room for about 2 hours and return back thinking the smell would go away, but no it did not! My husband called the front desk to complain about the smell, he was told that they would be sending someone up to the room to find out about the smell. A male staffer came up to our room and he said that he smelled the odor as well, so he had a small can of air freshener which he sprayed through out the room. I told him that the air freshener will only cover up the smell for so long and he left the spray for us to use while we were staying for 3 days. The entire time that we were there we had to continuously use the spray. The room should not have never been booked for any stay due to the fact that it smelled more like mold mildew and it was making me very nauseous. The very same day they had to send another staffer up to repair the hot water faucet which fell off when we turn on the water on. I was very disappointed in the Embassy suite Hilton during my stay for those three nights. It was terrible due to the fact that that milddew smell would not go away. The manager of this particular hotel needs to stay a night in room 730.

The breakfast that was advertise was not all what we had. The one gentleman manger was very rude he worked the night shift. The rest of the staff was great. We stayed before had a great time. We had reservations at other Hotel canceled to stay at the Emabasy 😞 this week

Great location, hotel needs some updates and maintenance repairs. Our room had a strong must wet odor and never cooled down.
