Enjoyed my stay

It was clean. The beds were metal and very loud. The staff was very nice but I had to tell to get someone to come out and check me in.

A very nice place, and not what I expected in the middle of rural Virginia. Extremely clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

This was one of the dirtiest, nastiest, bug filled places I have stayed. The staff was great but I will never go back.

Bed comfy, room clean, quiet, free HBO was great. The issue was the shower pretty gross so much so I skipped it the next morning. Luckily I realized needed sleep more than a shower the next morning anyway so worked out ok. Doesn't excuse a gross shower though especially for over $100 a night

Very clean friendly service

The people in the room next to me were up all night slamming their door, arguing and then having “intimate” time. I called the front desk to get another room but no one would answer. The next morning I complained to the clerk and asked for a refund of my next night so I could go somewhere else. She said that she would have the manager call me. I received no call. I called later in the day and a different clerk told me the same and atill no call from the manager. It is not just a cheap hotel but poorly managed.

Room was nice and clean. However my family stayed for 3 nights, booked 2 rooms and we had absolutely NO ROOM SERVICE😡 Very disappointing!!! Also, the website displays the pool (clean). My family which includes 3 children were excited and ready to swim and the pool was very nasty and shut down. Definitely will not be booking here anymore unless some changes are made. Our family visits Farmville, VA every year but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Everything was great been there twice this year already and it's clean and pleasant.

Pretty basic room, but very quiet with a good bed! Park right in front of the door ( on the first floor!) Young lady at the desk was very personable and she gave me a room on the back side so I didn’t have any noise issues at all! Possibly the most quiet place I’ve ever had! Not much for breakfast, but that was about the only negative thing about the place.

The parking lot needed pothole and drainage repairs. One parking area was directly adjacent (1-2ft.) to large propane tanks making it very dangerous for any parker near them.

Hotel was close to downtown which allowed easy access to food. However, the breakfast options were mediocre at best.

The ladies at the front desk were pleasant and the sheets were clean. The parking is terrible. The side they had us park on was parallel parking so you cannot park near your room because no one can park correctly. There were a lot of empty beer cans and bottles and other trash on the ground in the picnic area. There is a wide gap under the door. Light, heat and bugs come through. We put a towel under the door to stop the light and bugs from coming through. There were bugs (beetles) in the room. Someone else's old food was in the refrigerator. The remote was missing the battery cover. Cobwebs on the lamps and in the corners. The laminate flooring wasn't glued properly so there were gaps and bubbling in it. The bed my son used was very noisy when he moved. A brace or support must have been broken. The pool was horrible. Looks like it has not used or serviced in years.

Our room had no shower curtain but we let check in staff & they put up. No streaming service available. Cleanliness was good not excellent. Bathroom shower needs update

Had 1st floor room. Doors are directly to outside. Large gap under doors allowed bugs to get in especially at night. Hotel cheaply remodeled with flooring that doesn’t lay flat and had separated at joints in places. Took 2 trips to front desk to get key cards to work. Room filled our need for a place to stay. A 2nd floor room may eliminate bug problem.

It was a very pleasant stay up until my check out. Front desk clerk wasn’t friendly at all, smh!!!

Beds were great. Slept well. Sink water was a trickle. The breakfast should not be advertised as such. Juice machine along with others labeled out of order. Most patrons took one look and left without eating anything. Old hotel with worn plumbing and electrical. Exterior looks nice with new paint.

Older property. Cost for stay was higher than overall value, but the staff made it worthwhile. Inner hallway needs renovation. Room looks good with what was done already renovation.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this place. The nonsmoking room had no smell or cigarette smell. The room was clean. The staff members were very nice. They had late night checkin which was very convenient
