Picked this hotel become it lised it had an indoor pool. Pool was slimy and green, chewed gum on the ground. Didnt feel clean in there. Room was fine. Staff was nice.

We stay at your hotel 1-2 times yearly. The new updated interior was very nice and needed!!! The staff was amazing compared to our previous visits. The parking lot and around the building could use some attention. Keep up the good work!

I read SO many reviews before settling on this hotel.
My first issue is with Travelocity itself. The hotel clerk was unable to verify the price since it wasn't a direct booking, but I was charged $30 more than what the app showed. I still do not have an answer on this.
As far as the hotel goes - The parking lot, lobby, cafe area and halls were all nice and clean. Our room was on the first floor. As soon as I opened the door, the smell hit me. It was a mix of cigarettes and mildew. The bedding is always the first thing I check. I pulled the blankets back and everything was clean, but the bedding felt almost damp. The air conditioner ran the entire time we were there, so it may have just been moisture in the air causing the dampness and smell. We were exhausted so we just dealt with it. Carpet felt a little grimy but not too bad. Instead of individual toiletries, the shower had large bottles built into the shower wall. Nice touch though not my personal preference. Phone rang one time at 11pm and alarm went off at 12am, (prior customers playing a prank I assume) waking us all up. The app showed a "spa" which my husband and I were really looking forward to. There was no spa... only a VERY small 4.5' pool (indoor). They did offer an outdoor patio area with a grill right outside of the pool which was a nice touch. Overall, everything was physically clean, but the issues were enough that I won't be staying there on our next trip to Dothan.

I never did stay there at the hotel. It was a date that was not taken. It was a mistaken date and I was charged by Expedia for that day that I never stayed there. I request my $99.98 to be refunded to my Visa card Once again, please credit my Visa card for the non-stay.

Property was nice but dated. Bathtub was old and drain stopped up. Standing in a foot a water after a few minutes. Pretty disgusting. Tv volume didn’t work, telephone had no dial tone would not make any calls, outlets in light fixtures would not hold a plug so no cpap machine could be plugged in near the bed. Staff were kind, breakfast was decent, walls were a little thin

Not a typical Marriott experience that you would expect. Room has musty smell, sheets were scratchy, had small hair, not cleaned up well at all. No toothbrush was available! I was about to go to Walmart but kitchen staff kindly borrowed from neighboring hotel. Staff does make their best effort to make guests comfortable.

Our first floor unit it was raining out and the flooding was so bad. You could feel the carpet wet under the air conditioner. We didn’t complain about it because we didn’t want to be those kinds of people but other than that the room was pretty good.

Searched thru multiple locations looking for an indoor pool and this was one of the only places that had one, it was basically unusable water was nasty and too much chlorine

The property would’ve had a higher condition facility rating, however, one of the dresser drawers was broken and unusable. You can see it is broken just looking at it and without operating it. The drawer facia was torn off. Dresser lamp lights needed replacing. When in use, they had a high rate of flickering. Very obvious if turned on / being used.

I stayed one night. The emploees were very nice and helpful. The room is not what i thought a marriot should be. Old furniture, 2 pictures sitton above desk, not
on walls. Bathtub was old and dingy. Bed was very comfortable and linens all clean.
At 3am i was awakened by water pouring loudly in bathroom. Went in and never saw any and eventuallt stopped. Walls thin could hear people talking in next room. Needs some improvements.

The check in was awful. I paid but he said he didn’t have key yet( maintance, so he sent someone up with us with master key, neither one of us knew room #, air didn’t work, TV didn’t work only glow at night. No pic. Couldn’t turn on or off. Would not recommend

The staff was extremely friendly and nice. The only issue I had was both rooms linen were dirty. It was hair in the sheets of both bed in our first room. One bed in our second room. The staff made sure they took care of the issue. It was a bit frustrating considerating I was traveling with children.

Nice location to most everything and the staff was very accommodating. The lobby and other areas in the hotel were in the process of being remodeled. The room was good except the bathroom was tight and the mirror lighting was bad.

The hotel was ok. It was clean and pretty empty. They’re undergoing renovations so there was no full breakfasts area and there are constructions areas on the floors which can sometimes be creepy at night. The pillows on the king bed were oddly tiny - not an issue, more so just comical but they were comfy.

The room was dirty. For example, the bed sheets were dirty. Multiple dirty scuff marks on the white sheets. The comforter had stains as well. One stain looked like a blood stain that was never fully cleaned. The bathroom floor had dirty shoe prints all over. We did not use the shower as it was grimy looking. There was a rubber mat in the tub that is not hygienic. There was not any soap for the sink.
The fixtures in the bathroom and main room are rusted.
For the cost of the room and how it is marketed it was unacceptable and we will not return.

The rooms and hallways smelled stale, the room had popcorn kernels in the floor near the bed.. I don’t like or eat popcorn I’m allergic… the ceiling had water damage, bathroom water damage and rust spots, the pool caused my son to get really sick… he also end up with pink eye from the pool water, the breakfast was delicious… but the morning staff was being condescending to each other in front of guest… overall it’s was a struggle bus experience.. I was extremely dissatisfied.. I almost broke my neck entering the pool area due to the floor being so wet and slick… bad combination for ppl walking… and a recipe for a lawsuit…. At least put in wet floor signs..

Cant just slap Marriott sign on a old hotel and call it a Marriott. Bad smell. Old mill dew. Nice workers. Decent breakfast. But expected more from Marriott
