Clean hotel . Starting to renovate so a little loud in the morning but not to bad.

The ammonia odor in the lobby was too strong. The heater in the room sounded like a mouse was scratching to get out. The area of town is not as safe as I hoped. I drove past the hotel entrance the first time I arrived.

Hotel is not so great area. Hotel staff amazing. Breakfast was ok. Close to downtown.

Everything new and clean. Location conveniently close to Arena and Stadium. Many drinking and dining options in the area and the breakfast was great.

We arrived only to find that even with a confirmation number from hotel.com the hotel did not have a a reservation for us or any vacancy. After a long day it was frustrating to arrive to this unfortunate situation. I will not be doing business with hotel.com anymore. The receptionist/hotel attendant was wonderful and accommodating as she helped us find another room at a local hotel.

It was a comfortable one night stay.
I must say the one breakfast cook was an Awesome, Friendly, Hard working man, who went above and beyond to make evry visitor satisfied with the continental breakfast.
He was an Awesome hustler in keeping the food on the Bar.

This hotel is slightly on the outskirts of downtown but still close enough to walk to everything. We were very comfortable there.

It was just for one night to make an early appointment downtown. Very nice and secure. I didn't eat but the served breakfast looked and smelled awesome. Will definitely stay again!

Most of the businesses in downtown were shuttered for good or closed for the night, which created a subdued feeling. Mellow Mushroom, however, was a great rec from the staff. The Augusta Riverwalk was also enjoyable, though the river was half stagnant and very buggy.

I have no idea how this hotel has an 8.2 guest rating on Expedia. I would believe 6.2.
The location is not in a good area. The parking lot is enclosed with an electric gate. There is chicken wire on the gate.
The ice machine on our floor was broken. Sign posted on it. No plans to repair.
No coffee for the Keurig in our room. I asked for regular coffee. The hotel staff said they are out of regular coffee. Only one coffee cup left in the room. So I went to the lobby to get coffee and there was no coffee in the lobby for breakfast.
We had a 2 queen bed room with 3 people. The hotel only gives you two towels. This problem was listed on reviews before but has not been corrected.
The only good things were that the room was clean and the beds were decently comfortable.
I would not stay here again.

Carpet cleaner fumes were too strong for us to stay in the room. Tried to get another room but there were none. We had to leave. We contacted Expedia for a refund and never received anything.

This was my second stay at this facility and I have enjoyed both. I hope to stay there each time I visit the Augusta area. Thank you!

Everything was perfect. Check in went seamless. Room was spacious. Air was a little stuffy but thats minor as ac blew cold. Good breakfast selection (grits, eggs, omelets turkey sausage ,etc). Room service was prompt. All in all good experience

We had two rooms 7 people total but only had 4 bath towels. Was told there were no more available. Also carpet in one room could stand a cleaning. Small speck of what appeared to be blood on a sheet.
The other room had a crack in the shower wall.

This is truly a nice hotel. Dont let the surroundings fool you. Very nice the bed was comfortable. The room was clean the air was working, the room have microwave, refrig and coffee msker which was a plus for me. Nice hidden gem

Pretty room, well maintained, and a kind, well groomed employee at check in and check out. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options including bacon amd sausage links.

The hotel seems fairly dated and tired, not at all like the majority of the Holiday Inn Express locations I've been at. The location is a bit sketchy for walking downtown, would recommend a cab/uber, especially after dark.

Check in was not good; very slow and they couldn't seem to get anything right. We came to this hotel because there was a pool; however, they said the pool wasn't open although it looked perfectly fine. My grandkids were really looking forward to swimming. The girl at checkout couldnt explain why the pool wasn't open and she was extremely rude. The room was fine; no complaints there.
