We only stayed 1 night on a longer road trip. We had higher expectations on this hotel since it was quite expensive. The hotel room and the stairwell area would need some renovation to remove the unfresh carpenting.

Excellent service from the young lady at front desk, she recommended us about food and restaurant, she was very friendly and professional, she speaks many languages and we were able to speak with her in English, Italian and Spanish, I don't remember her name, we would have liked to say thank you again, but she was not in the morning when we left

We enjoyed staying one night here in Lienz. The room was very large and comfortable with a seating area that would have been very nice for a longer stay.
The breakfast buffet was generous and delicious. I developed a great fondness for the brown bread with pumpkin seeds served everywhere in southern Austria.

Great Hotel a lot better than what I expected. This was a one night rest in the middle stop and it turned out to be a very nice hotel in a very nice little town.

This hotel is an excellent option for those wishing to relax and enjoy the local community. The staff were great and very attentive to any request or acknowledgement of a special occasion. Would definitely stay here again if back in the are.

Was a great experience from the moment that I arrived. The team on the reception desk were great, as was the room; and the dinner in the hotel restaurant excellent.

This is an OK hotel and much better than a typical budget hotel. Price was great for the standard of hotel. Location is right in the centre of Lienz. The hotel is old, but it is in keeping with the character of the area

What drop this down for me was the fact that the room was so hot. I get euro in general does not supple air con. But no fan either? We had the window open from chk in to chk out. It didn't help. Our room was a corner one blocked on three sides by the building. And with the window open it was noisy.
Paying what we did for one night and basically no sleep. Nope. Will not be back.

Great location, it is an older historic building but clean and quaint. Friendly staff and a good variety at breakfast. The city of Lienz isnt too big but its nice to be in the picturesque town square, making you close to everything.

nice hotel with many outdoor cafe/restaurants just outside the front door. Very convenient parking and very good breakfast buffet. Rooftop pool is excellent.

Although the hotel is very central within Lienz, the hotel is in need of renovation. Rooms were quiet which was a bonus. WIFI was poor.

we stayed in the more expensive room before facing the market place, but it was very noisy because people were playing music till midnight due to festival in weekend, but this time we stayed in relatively cheaper room facing backyard. People were playing music till midnight in market place, but it was quiet in our room and we did not have probleme in sleeping.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station, a definite plus and in the heart of the plaza. The room was exceptionally large and the rooftop pool is amazing. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a room looking out at the Rathaus in the beautiful town square, couldn't have asked for a better view with the mountains in the background. The hotel tries to maintain the old character which unfortunately also means squeaky floors and uncomfortable beds. The room was quite large by European standards and breakfast, WiFi, and parking were all included, so that outweighed the negatives.
