Amazing stay at a beautiful hotel … perfect location, friendly staff & great experience in the Tailor bar

The hotel and service were 5 star. Near everything in town. Could use better transportation services.

I enjoyed the genuine 5 star quality of the hotel. The hotel room overlooking Dam Square was magnificent and the bathroom exemplary. The breakfast room was a unique and very special experience. The staff in the coffee and dining restaurant were very friendly and courteous.

I wish I could give my stay at the Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky 100 stars because it was just that AMAZING. The combination of modern luxury and historical charm in this hotel truly creates a unique experience. We booked a Premium Room with a Rooftop Terrace, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The room was impeccably clean, and the view from the terrace was nothing short of spectacular—offering a stunning panorama of Amsterdam’s iconic rooftops. The mini bar was well-stocked, which added a luxurious touch to our stay. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. The staff were beyond amazing, and I have to give a special mention to Luisa, the manager on-site, who was incredibly welcoming and kind, ensuring that every detail of our stay was perfect. The hotel’s central location on Dam Square, right opposite the Royal Palace, couldn’t be better for exploring and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Amsterdam. The walkability of this area is fantastic—everything you could want is just steps away. Luxury shopping, world-class restaurants, and charming cafés are all within easy reach, making it the perfect base for both relaxation and adventure in the city. In summary, our stay at the Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky was flawless, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for an unforgettable luxury experience in Amsterdam, this is the place to be.

Great overall but right in the center of everything which might not be for everyone

Lovely hotel. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Beautiful property, the dam was busy and loud and a bit dirty at times. But that’s not on the hotel, great location.

centrally located and walkable to all the Attractions. The hotel is close to the trams and metro so very easy to get around the City. Great rooms and modern.

The best hotel in Amsterdam

This is hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Style, convenience, comfort staff and food. The basic room is not all that expensive.

The room was too cold. We had to ask for a heater.Also the courtyard rooms are a little noisy at nightbecause of noise from the bar.

Bathroom smelled like sewage and the bathroom hygiene product pumps did not work. Room key access expired and had to go to front desk to reactivate.
