My room wasn't ready at check-in and delayed for 1 hour but other than that I was happy with the cleanliness and atmosphere of the hotel. The restaurant service was excellent and friendly and we hope to come back again.

The bathroom was not as expected, water was splashing out of the shower since it doesn’t close completely and same thing with the sink. Check in was at 4, my room wasn’t ready until 5:30pm. The line just to check in took over 30min. Ridiculous

Started off getting wrong kind of room, the room was also very noisy heard the swimming pool open and shut til late hours, the toilet in my room was loose made banging sound. the pool entrace in building 4 where I was didnt work had to walk to building 5 to get in.. I expected more from Riviera

One of the worst days at a hotel I’ve ever had. Let me start by saying that when you walk in the place still remains beautiful, but don’t be confused because the rooms have gone to crap. We checked in at 2:30 with Alex and he told us the room will not be ready till 4 o’clock, my girlfriend and I decided to go and check out if our tattoo artist would be ready for us early? He was and off we went. 5 o’clock comes by and I have not heard from Alex who told us he would let us know when the room was ready at 4 o’clock , in addition to my girlfriend and I getting tattoos, we were meeting up with two other friends that I had not seen since high school, which is 45+ years earlier. At 5 o’clock I text them to let them know that the room was still not ready and they told me oh no they let us in. We’re in room 4123. What the hell , that is my room, in my name, on my ID and credit card with nobody else’s name permitted or verbal agreement to be permitted into my room that I was not even aware of that was ready. Who does that? Who do you know that you just let into my room? I know that this is not in anywhere And your policy book. When I came back to actually check in at 6 PM the girl looked at me startled because she knew they had let somebody else in the room and I explained the situation and asked to speak to management. Did I ever get to speak to management now , did they ever reach out to speak to me now? Needless to say I was furious the 24 hours that I was there.

The hotel has good bones, it might be very nice if renovated, but currently it is run down & old. Every staff that we interacted was pleasant & polite. Maid service was non existent. There was no cold water in our room, so showers were scalding hot.
That being said, the fire pits in the pool area were a nice place to gather in the evenings & served our group well. Although they said they were at full capacity, the pool rarely had more than 1 or 2 other guests?

Vibe is great! My family and I had a great time! Great place to stay. Loved the fact that I didn't have to purchase the umbrellas nor cabannas. It was a first come first serve kind of a thing.

The pool was closed for " maintenance" without early warning, I would have cancelled my reservation! Palm springs without a pool is pointless. The room for 3 had only two beds and the air conditioner didn't work. The people at the front desk could care less. I won't be going back there. Used to be a loyal customer, not any more.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night and that was enough, in the first room the bed was broken, then we moved to a room in the middle of the night, there were noises of doors slamming again and again that did not allow us to sleep, we moved a room again in the middle of the night. The hotel staff, apart from apologizing, did nothing about it. An unpleasant experience at all, especially if you didn't sleep at night.

Pool area was not kept up throughout the day. Went on a holiday weekend and we could not get clean towels for the pool. Cups,food, dirty towels every morning were left out from the night before. Music played loudly until after 10pm which doesn’t seem necessary.

Was not happy with the noise in and around the room..especially from upstairs, constant banging.The staff was exceptional.. they were very helpful and very respectful. The pool was overwhelmingly full, not very safe.

Upon our first night we encountered a dramatic incident regarding an underaged girl and her family causing a scene ruining our first night involving mamy guest's. The bar closed earlier due to this incident. In addition we found bugs in our room. The cost of room service was very high. The exterior looked in older condition. Inside was more appealing. The valet were great! Thank you. I would not stay here again.

I recently stayed at Margaritaville Resort Palm Springs and had a mixed experience. Upon arrival, the customer service was excellent, and I felt welcomed. However, things took a turn when I got to my room. The room I was given did not match what I had paid for. I had booked a deluxe room with a view, but the room I received looked nothing like the pictures and the view was disappointing.
I called the front desk to confirm if I was given the correct room, and they assured me it was a deluxe room. Unsatisfied, I went back to the front desk to reconfirm, only to be told that since I arrived late which was just 5pm, the better rooms had already been given away. This explanation did not make sense to me, as I had paid for a specific type of room and expected to receive it regardless of my arrival time. I felt ripped off and very disappointed with the value for the price I paid.
Additionally, the hallways were in dire need of cleaning and had an unpleasant smell, reminiscent of cheese or feet. Overall, my stay was far from satisfactory, and I will not be returning to this resort.

3. Hotel room and amenities were dirty and need a deep clean.
When I went to talk to the manager about canceling my stay he was amazing. He credited my night without power and allowed me to cancel the rest of my hotel nights with them without penalty. Him and his staff didn’t seem to trust that the power actually got fixed. I was thankful to be able to move to a more reliable resort.
Overall I would not stay here again until serious repairs and deep cleans happen.

Hotel lost power on the 2nd day of my three day stay. and power was never restored. Nothing was offer for the inconviniece. We had to relocate to another hotel on our own. Have not received credit for the two nights I paid that was not used since I had to check out do to unbearable heat in the room.

It was a nice stay but do to our room not having a solid liner for our window all we had a was a sheer curtain and when called the maintenance they sad they didn’t have any and that we would have to move room reminded you it was late when we notice we had been in the pool since we arrived so it was late when we got back to the room and after drinking being in the sun we didn’t want to move so we just stayed we had no privacy and it was bright ass hell in the morning. but beside that the manager was nice about it and comp us. but we had a good time at the poo. Bartenders were amazing

I booked a weekend trip at this resort for 3 days. Within a couple hours of checking in, me and my husband went to the JWB resturaunt to go eat. About 30 mins passed and us eating the power went out. So we were literally eating in the dark in the resturaunt, without being informed what happened, no one told like "hey sorry for the outrage this and that happened", there was no saying in anything. So whatever we just finished eating and left back to our room, and our power was still out, came back on so we decided to just stay because we were trying to be understanding saying like oh maybe it was just a glitch. We headed towards the pool and it went off again and this time it went off for hours. We were back in the room with no power, no AC, and not being informed about anything. We ended up calling a couple of hotels to and told them our situationship and they all nearly said "oh yeah that usually happens to them" like uhhh okay! anyways NOW WE KNOW, and to top it off we were able to get a full refund and i still havent got the refund and they want to charge me atleast a "cancellation fee/one night fee" when i wasnt even there for 24 hours. We were literally there for 3 hours not even inside at the hotel! Never had this happened before on my times on traveling, and the fact they couldnt even accomadate us, its just sad. What a bad experience.

It was awful - the power went off for 8+ hours and it became 90 degrees in our rooms. Kids were sitting in hallways to escape the heat. Staff didn't know what to do.
