While the hotel rooms could be better as far as updating and the breakfast was sparse, the staff totally made up for any short comings. They were extremely helpful and friendly and also went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Place is pretty run down. Breakfast is just pre-packaged pastries, with coffee but no juices. Price was higher than nice hotels we stayed in in Vermont.

Upon entering the hotel, the carpeting is dirty and stained. Stairwell carpeting is also very dirty and stained as well as hallways. The room in general had cobwebs in the corners of the ceilings, the furniture in the room was disgusting, the chair in the room had stains on the fabric, the wall had been patched, and the wall was only primed. You could clearly see where the wall had not been painted properly. The television set did not work. There was no Kleenex and bathmat in the room. The staff was very pleasant and did offer to switch our room for one and which the television that worked, but it was our choice not to move. It was very clear that the premises are in the middle of a renovation, but rooms should not be turned over to guests until they are totally completed or they’ve had an overall inspection done on them. The room was clearly not worth $200 for one night. I would not recommend this hotel or return there for another stay

Not much for a breakfast but the rest was great. I just went out for breakfast.

The Super 8 was a convenient stop on our journey. Staff were friendly and helpful. The place is a bit old but everything was clean and worked. All good.

Really run down! Stairways were dirty, carpets need cleaned, exterior needs re stained, just a sad stay.

This location was nothing fancy. What it was however, was incredibly accomodating. The hotel itself is a bit run down and needs some modernization. The location is great though, there is a walmart in the same complex as well as fast food restaurants. What made this a great experience for us was the staff. They went above and beyond with our early check in request. Everything was basically closed on sunday and they helped us with brochures of what tourist activities were open. The pet fee is only $15. I would stay here again just because of them.

The staff are really friendly and helpful, truly top notch. The rooms are simple but fine. Last time my bed was fine but this time got a room with two double beds, and both mattresses were without question the worst I’ve ever encountered in any hotel, or anywhere else for that matter. When you sat on one, you sank almost through. Not because they were soft, mind you - just totally broken springs, like, I’ve really never encountered anyt Like it. Otherwise it’s a perfectly adequate hotel, only other complaint is the breakfast, which is NOT a breakfast, just cheap little muffin things like you might get at a convenience store, individually wrapped and not fresh. So it’s not the Ritz but it’s ok for the money.

I stay with family of five. Front desk lady was great and friendly. Smooth and easy check in. Room was okey for a short stay, but the metal base of the bed made a disturbing noise every time you hit with your foot. The bathroom sink would not drain properly. Lots of bugs around too. I went to see the "breakfast" options and found an empty basket (looks like the run out of whatever was in there before 8:00 am). Thankfully the hotel is conveniently located close to a Walmart and several restaurants. Again, kudos to the blonde woman at the front desk who was always very nice.

It was in an accessible location to some fast food and Walmart but a rather unique configuration off the road. Despite some negative reviews, the facility was clean and comfortable for a 2 nite stay. However, no grab bar in the tub/shower area, very tiny lobby and they didn't open the vending room door where there were tables and chairs; we had some issues with the a/c; the hot water and coffee carafes in the lobby were always just warm; breakfast was a few packaged muffins and pastries with juices; never knew what the toaster was for; blackout curtains were fine but no thinner curtain underneath to allow the light into the room.

Without a doubt the friendliest staff at a motel I’ve ever encountered. Super-helpful and funny too. The property… has seen better days. Good luck charging your phone, we had to use the bathroom because there was no available plugs in the room. The beds were ridiculously hard. And the AC unit was louder than a 747 engine — these two facts meant not much sleep happened. Which is a shame because the service was outstanding.

Rooms are very dated. There was dust on the headboard otherwise the room was clean. The hotel is in a good location next to a Walmart and Mcdonalds . Basically for the low price of a room you get what you pay for.

Most of my 3 night stay was peaceful and relaxing except for my last day when I had to listen to a barking dog for several hours starting late in the afternoon into the evening

It’s an okay place to stay for a night. Thankfully, only one night is all we needed. The beds are not comfortable. The pillows….good lord….this pillows! They are basically a clumped up ball of god only knows what stuffed into a pillow case! They’re awful! The room itself was okay. Stains on the lampshade. The shower curtain wasn’t waterproof so when it got wet it soaked right through to the other side. No bath may provided, used a hand towel. The staff at the front desk weren’t readily available, we waited and even called to the desk several times trying to get the wifi password. No one answered the phone. McDonald’s, Subway, Dunkin Donuts, Walmart, and gas stations are all close. Not a whole lot to do in the area itself.

It was an older looking motel, kinks like a log cabin exterior. Room was older stucco but it was clean. Bedding was clean. Hot water was hot. Our hair dryer was the best I’ve ever used. Good pillows. A McDonald’s was right next door.

The room was clean, but the curtains were broken so that they did not close. The “breakfast” was basically nonexistent. Rooms next door can be heard easily.

This place is not clean. Bathroom was especially dirty. Do not recommend.

The booking on Expedia showed the payment failed. Tried again and said the property was out of rooms. Booked a different hotel in town. Same night. Received an email about the booking the following day. Never used the booking or had a chance to cancel. Super 8 still charging full price for this unused booking. Will stay clear of Super 8 and Expedia after this.

Price was good, close to fishing.

I recommend this hotel to all. It’s a wonderful place to stay. They have a grill outside, to cook on. Fresh coffee every day, whether morning noon or evening. The room was clean and spacious. Very beautiful. Service was excellent! But NEVER EVER schedule a stay through this site! They will scam you!! Schedule through anyone else but hotels.com!!

Took forever to get checked in and the woman at the desk claimed they did not accept Capital One CCs???
