The room seemed clean enough, what we could see. The lighting was so very dim; it was still dark in there with the lamps on. The lock on the door was broken where someone from the outside had tried to break in on someone. It left us feeling unsafe. We had an issue with our billing, but we had screenshots, so the attendant didn't make us pay again. There was no warm breakfast items. Toast, cereal, and some packaged mini muffins. The milk was in a carafe; we didn't know how old it was. One washcloth for the two of us. Don't go to this motel.

I was disappointed that the handle on the sink was flopping around….

I don’t want to discount the kind lady the front desk, but this hotel was not worth the $170 plus taxes. We had so many bugs in our room, hair in the sink and shower, and only one of the four lamps worked (no overhead lighting either). It was a place to sleep, but wouldn’t stay here again.

This place should not be listed as a hotel. Strictly a motel and should charge far less. Problems with security - broken door lock latch; cleanliness - an easychair that should not be in room but in a bonfire; comfort - paper thin sandpaper towels that surely were used by Abe Lincoln and facility - shower regulator that was to fall off. Save your money and go elsewhere.

There was a smell when we opened the door. Was very dark even with the lights on. There was a dead bug on the bathroom floor. The sink faucet was leaking.

Hotel is way out of date - it felt like the 1990's, or they've not recovered from Covid. No amenities; clock, coffee maker, microwave. Carpet and chair were dirty. Shower barely functioned. Would not stay here again.

The photos of the room looked okay with a nice chair for reading, but I hadn't paid attention the low reviews. The room was dark and worn, and rather grungy. There was't even a cup for water and without amenities such as a coffee maker. The breakfast was very minimal, so I passed on it in favor of McDonalds.

The room felt like an old Motel 6 and stunk. I held my nose and would have gone to another motel but had driven 12 hours and needed to sleep, there was a large space in the door that I could see street lights coming through so I can only image what insects would be making their way in. The sheets were old and didn’t look like they had been changed, the price was double of what I had paid for a Ramada Inn the night before 500 miles away and deserved 4 stars compared to this motel.

The desk clerk was friendy... The room smelled like a nurseing home...not pleasant! Bed was clean towels old ... I would not even use the shower or touch any light switches... kept my sandels on any time i left the bed and did not feel comfortable putting anything on the floor. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone...

Our bed sheet had a hole in it and one of the towels provided had a yellow stain in it. And it was a bit confusing to find the property. The sign has not been changed over from HG Guest House to AmeriStay Inn.

Staff was wonderful but room was extremely dated and run down. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean but a chair in the room was filthy. I wouldn't go near it. Non smoking room but reeked of years of smoking in my opinion.

Not worth $122 but we needed a place to sleep.
Bathroom sink needs work, so does shower head. No bathroom fan.

I will never stay at this hotel again. The service was terrible. The night staff/owner actually threw the room card at me because I knocked too loudly on the window.

Even after booking online we had to put a 100 deposit down the sheets smelt like they weren’t changed the shower wouldn’t drain we stood at the front desk for 20 minutes before anyone came to check us in the toilet wobbled the tv didn’t work and the room wasn’t clean

Do not patronize this establishment. I booked a room for my girlfriend to stay for a night. When she tried to check in the staff told her that there was $100 CASH ONLY deposit and would not let her check in.
Hotel.com has horrible service too... Hotels.com stood before their shady business partner and refused to offer a refund. Now I have to dispute the charge on my credit card.
What a disaster. Thanks @Hotels.com and @GuestHouse.... you both receive ZERO STARS... do NOT recommend.

I have no complaints about the hotel itself. But the breakfast was not available and the lobby was locked at 9:00 a.m. There were no lights on in the eating area and they did not answer the buzzer or the phone.

Nobody cleaned the ground and there was ice. The gas station beside was clean. They could have done this. The door to the room had broken the security lock

The motel was very noisy due to traffic , the beds were hard and never a had a mattress protector on the bed. I was bitten multiple times by bed bugs and there was no breakfast as advertised. I stayed in room 124 .

I was unable to get a refund for the room I didn’t stay in. The desk clerk was unfriendly and not helpful. The room stunk to high heaven. Latch lock was broke from the wall. Unsafe feeling.

I appreciated the courtesy of the staff very much. The room was very pleasant, clean. Nice decor. Shelf for the towels coming out of the wall. Dusting needed around vents. Bathroom door too swollen to close. Holes in the shower need patching - afraid of cameras. Fridge a little noisy at night. The lounge chair faded and worn. Biggest complaint is the quality of the bed. Very uncomfortable.

Room was clean but a little rough. We checked in late (dark out) and it was hard to find a light that would turn on when we came in. The switch by the door didn’t work. One lamp wasn’t plugged in and we had to unplug the refrigerator to be able to use it. The toilet paper holder seemed like it might fall out of the wall. The door had a deadbolt and we felt safe but the safety lock at the top of the door was broken/couldn’t work. We were too tired to ask to change rooms but ours could have used some attention.

I booked online. Was told at counter that i had to pay an additional $120.00 cash deposit, and i wouldnt recieve a receipt for it.i only had 113, i am a single father of a 2 yr old and 5yrold. We slept my our pick up.

The condition of the room was very below standard and we were unable to stay there. The furniture was dirty and in disrepair. The TV didn't work. It felt unsafe to be there in the day so we felt like we would not be able to stay the night.
