Street noise. Steps to get to lobby. Hard to lift luggage up the lobby steps. Parking across the street was full in the evening, so we parked 12 minutes away, and had to move car late evening to get it closer.

Perfect location. Everything is in walking distance.

The front desk person is what made the stay very very special. Her name is.Charo . However, the hotel needs to correct the water pressure problem. It was impossible to regulate the hot and cold water in the shower. We were in room 811.

The parking is confusing. The directions I was given I ended up lost.

Location is a 10/10. You’re right in the middle of everything next to the cathedral. Not to mention the roof top pool and bar is the best in Malaga!

This hotel is amazing The staff are extremely polite and helpful. The room was luxurious and had a balcony view of the Med.

4 night short break for senior couple. Had used this venue for meeting up with friends in the past for coffee. This was the first time using it as our hotel base. Location and service was superb. Only downside is that tickets are sold to non- residents for the roof terrace bar at night as well as for events in the daytime. It makes business sense but is not great for residents.

The hotel is located in the historic town center beside the harbor. Many rooms have balconies with beautiful views of either the town or the harbor. The rooftop bar/ restaurant also has gorgeous views. We love staying here!

April 2024 We stayed at the Marriot for 3 nights. We were upgraded as we booked in. All of the staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. To have porters at the door to open them and carry our cases, ranks as 5*. Breakfasts were ample with a wide range of cereals, ham and eggs etc. Our room was spotless but was, perhaps, a little limited on storage space (minor quibble). Overall our stay was value for money, we would certainly book there again if in Malaga and recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Malaga.

Great location and clean, modern rooms. Rooftop deck/bar has a fantastic view and tasty drinks.

We stayed for our business trip for about 9 days. They have a great breakfast buffet on the 2nd floor. There’s a pool on the rooftop you can use if you don’t mind everyone at the bar watching you. Rooftop restaurant food was average; you’re definitely paying for the view not for the food. The staff were all very friendly. Only downfall, being a business trip we needed WiFi to do our business . It worked barely 25% of the while we were there. Technician came twice but only fixed it temporarily and it made working difficult.

Great location however there are two many steps up from the street to the lobby. Usually the door helps carry the luggage up and down. They should install a ramp.

Very good location. Friendly & helpful staff . Expect Breakfast has more varieties . Bright ,good street view breakfast room. Roof top Restaurant seating is cramped. Room soundproof isn’t good. The water from Bathroom Washing basin runs very weak. In our last 2 days stay received a hotel notice said the water isn’t potable which is disappointed.

Overall an average hotel. Positives: - Location - close to the marina and only 20 min walk from the train station - Very comfy bed - Large bathroom and very good shower - Room cleaned every day - made a lovely fuss of my sister for her birthday, with a cake and a balloon in the room when we arrived Negatives: - The wait for the lifts was ridiculous - Soundproofing from the corridors wasn’t great - Breakfast is quite expensive, so we chose to go elsewhere - there are plenty of places for pastries and breakfast nearby. - Air conditioning was lacking power - Rooftop gets too busy - we were advised that if you say you’re a resident, they will try and get you a seat, but there was no method to the waiting/seating, it was just a free for all. We would try a different hotel in the centre next time.
