The motel had a number of rooms in the rear for long term customers. Most people staying in the back were fine but some were very questionable. I was in room 136 this room should not be rented out again without repairs being made. I took a number of pictures is you are interesting. Larry

what I needed

I didn't realize that the residents would be primarily homeless persons and that several would be dog owners. Upon returning from a nearby restaurant, I was startled by a barking dog though it turned out to be harmless. I thought the property was quite shabby and rub-down. I doubt that I will ever again choose Rodeway for lodging while travelling.

Kind of a scary place. Run down and everything is very old and worn down.

Terrible avoid this hotel

Hard to find because the older hotel sign is up with the Rodeway sign below it. Hardly noticed it. Room was clean. Plenty of restaurants available for dinner or breakfast. Would not recommend the Waffle House. It is the worst one I’ve ever been in and I love Waffle House.

Does not look like photos. Plexiglass windows. Cracked. Bullet holes patched. Torn up carpet. Bugs. Ac has seen way better days. Very scary and gives you the creeps just to set foot in door. Next to a truck stop with the environment of ladies. Staff helpful and refunded money. Didn’t stay there.

I did not like anything about this place. The property buildings need to be demolished. They are unsafe and filthy to live in. Room was filthy. Hair all over the counters, on walls, beds. Just nasty. Bathroom stunk. Grungy filth everywhere. Nasty, dirty and smelly carpet. Light fixture in bathroom was full of dead bugs. Not enough towels or toiletry items provided. Uncomfortable beds. Smelly AC. Turned cold water, I got hot water. Turned hot water and I could have burned myself in shower. When I was done with shower, cold water started flowing in. Overcharging of $75/night plus taxes came to $90. This room was not even worth for $25.00/night I will never stay there in the future. It is a dump. Expedia needs to drop it from its list.

I like that the rooms on either side of my room were vacant. Not a room for a handicap person. Only 10 channels on the TV not good ones.No hairdryer no coffee maker, no iron or ironingboard.

This is a very trashy hotel. There are people living in some of the rooms permanently. A ton of noise, motorcycle engines, beer bottles everything sounded like it was right in my room. Barely slept as I did not feel safe at all.

They promised to refund my money and then didnt do it

I the room was supposed to be non- smoking but smelled of smoke. I did not stay in the room. I returned the key for health reasons. So lost the money I paid for the room! I tried to get a different room but the clerk said there was not another room. When I returned the key, she was leasing a room to three other people.

The room was barely passable for clean. There was no safety chain or lock on the door. There was a hole in the wall by the bed and there was a huge gap under the door.So big that a small critter could get in. We had no hand towel to use after personal hygiene.

Got their late and was promptly checked in. Drove around to the back side where i saw another guest had parked a truck and trailer across 4 parking spots including mine. Room was filthy with graffiti on the walls. An ash tray leading me to believe it was a smoking room, the bed sheets where stained. The matress protectors were covered in brown and yellow stains. The ac knobs had to labels, tbe door wasnt sealed so light and air were getting in. Other guest were actively going around and knocking on doors yelling looking for someone one.

This hotel hasn’t been updated since 1972, including the mattresses!

This is an older motel and definitely dated. However, the property is in overall good condition and it is clean and quiet. For the price this place can’t be beat. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend this plane If you’re looking for a clean, quiet place to spend rhe night.

The room was filthy, not updated, cigarette holes in the blankets, tub was slippery as if it wasn’t cleaned, room smelled. Inebriated individuals hanging outside my room. Absolutely unacceptable especially for $105.00. Being a single mom in the hotel room with my son I felt very unsafe .

The heat didn't work in the room ...the beds were to small,no hot water no telephone and no battery in the remote and the cable and wifi sucked!;;

I felt bad that my dog had to sleep here My husband was sick to his stomack all night because of the stench of curry I weigh 110 and could barely fit on the toilet The sheets appeared clean but the rest was filthy Carpet had mildew growing Walls had holes Counters were slashed with a knife and burn holes Please check out puctures before you stay

They are unprofessional, unfriendly,and overall not good people

There isn’t as much traffic from where they are located. Every appliance worked, and they made sure we had everything we needed. The only issue i had was after booking through the app. We still had to fill out paperwork as well as pay at the desk, so checking in wasn’t at simple as it usually is, the staff was friendly as well as accommodating.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It's nice and quiet. The people who are here are very nice and helpful. Check in was easy and the room was spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend it!

When I needed help with the smoke alarm they sent someone right away !
