Arrived late from train. Although there was tea and coffee available there was no milk anywhere. Room itself was well equipped, liked the kettle and fridge. Great breakfast.

Very small bathroom with no counter space. Excellent check in experience.

We stayed for 3 nights. On the 3rd night there was a very noisy party in the room next door. Young men screaming loud music etc. I called down to the front desk and the clerk told me that the group was leaving for town. The noise kept up. I called down again and the clerk then told me that the noise was outside and “wear earplugs “, he wasn’t going to do anything about it. I told him we were in an inner room and that is was not outside and he needed to come up to our room and listen. He refused to. So I had to go out into the hall in my PJs to figure out which room it was (it was right next store). I had to call down a 3rd time and the clerk finally came up and shut down the party. Horrible service to just blow me off that many times. The only reason I give them a “2” for the service is before this on the first two nights the service was much better. I do not feel like the service is at the same level as the other Thon hotels we have stayed at

Centrally located with an airport bus stop located right outsid and very walkable to restaurants, shops and the cathedral. Very good buffet breakfast with coffee machines in lobby and outside restaurant. Rooms were clean and modern with comfortable beds. Gym on small side but empty when we visited. Overall very good value for money.

Great place to stay in central Trondheim, close to the station and ferry terminal. Staff very friendly and helpful and hotel very comfortable.

Good hotel in the heart of Trondheim, comfortable rooms with everything that you need, fast wifi, good gym and restaurant. Close to bars and restaurants as well as main stream shopping.

Good service, great breakfast, comfortable bed. The room I got wasn't very well located. One window right in front of the restaurant - had to leave the curtains closed all the time. Also, a bit of noise from the street.

Just an OK place to sleep and nothing more. Was in the old wing of the hotel and the door sills were rather on the high side; hazardous if you ask me so please pay attention to that. Central location with easy access to the sights if you’re a tourist

Well located for all the main sights of Trondheim. Close to train station and there’s also an airport bus stop right outside. Room was well equipped with kettle, mini fridge, iron, hairdryer & even an umbrella! Staff were friendly & helpful. Would stay again.

Breakfast is good. Location is excellent. We need to bring shampoo, soap etc. since they are not equipped.

Great location and beautiful building. We loved the generous buffet breakfast. Very very popular place to stay for large groups, families and all ages so breakfast got busy after 9:30am! Gym is tiny but functional! U would say though I found the heating was turned up too high - it should be turned down to 18 degrees for optional sleeping temperature!

Other than a cramped bathroom, everything else about this place was great. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Trondheim.

We had a fantastic stay at the Thon Hotel Nidaros in Trondheim. The hotel is lovely from the outside and warm and inviting on the inside. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, they assisted us with all questions and were always willing to help. Rooms are on the smaller side (at least for an American) but was comfortable and had all the necessities. The breakfast spread was massive and phenomenal. The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting Trondheim, it was an easy bus ride from the airport and the hotel was only a couple minute walk from the stop. It is easy walking distance to multiple sites, restaurants, pubs and other shops, and it only took us about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the train station. The ease of our stay made us wish we had more time to spend in Trondheim and at the Thon Hotel Nidaros.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay. Wished there were parking options closer to the hotel. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Good location close to everything.

The room was clean and had everything I expected, but on the small side. The hotel is within walking distance to all the attractions.

Staff were very helpful as we were Ill when we arrived. Even contacted the local hospital. Nice breakfast. Loved the heated floor in bathroom.

There was no air conditioning in the room. I was able to open the window in the room, but it was above a noisy alley. The hotel is in a great location, and very handy if arriving or leaving on the train.

The interior design of both guest rooms and lobby spaces was really extraordinary! Bright colors, lots of gold, unusual juxtaposition of patterns. It was so lively! Everyone in Trondheim is super friendly and helpful, an extra bonus.

Hotel is great. However, they stuck us in a tiny room with a tiny bathroom and the room was stuffy and hot. Windows face another building's wall and the windows would only open in a very small way.

Magnificent breakfast. Hotel interior and decor wonderful. Our room quite small and tiny bathroom. Somewhat stuffy when windows shut for noise. Great staff.

Amazing breakfast with lots of choice

This hotel is in a convenient location close to restaurants, shopping, and major sites. We did not need a rental car here, as it is easy to walk around Trondheim. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and modern, and we loved the full breakfast. We would stay here again!
