Should have brought my own shampoo and conditioner. What was in the dispensers was the same soap for shampoo and body wash and the conditioner seemed to be some other kind of soap. Had to ask for towels as only 2 in the room for 4 people. Breakfast not great.

Decent for the price. Trash outside is overflowing which grosses me out. Breakfast was sub-par. Pool was cold and hot tub didn’t work.

Superior staff!

Staff was very helpful, polite and accomodating especially Bee. Several times during our duration of stays over the past 6 months the rooms have very unpleasant lingering odors from the carpeting. Please address. as we truly like the staff and outdoor area. comfortable beds and clean linens. we are seriously reconsidering not returning in the future for business stays.

It's clean, quiet, convenient to many restaurants and shopping. Property is well maintained and has a laundry room. Too bad they don't have any outdoor sitting areas though. Staff are very helpful and breakfast has lots of choices.

I enjoyed this hotel. The room was clean, the staff was friendly. Loved having two bedrooms and a full kitchen. The whole place was beautifully landscaped. Made our longer stay much more enjoyable. My only complaint was that there was a bad smell in the hotel, like maybe it's time to replace the carpets.

The room deposit was quite expensive

The toilet was dirty . The keys was not working i had to change my key 3 times. At night when i needed to come into the side door i told the gentlman my key wasnt working and he said " i cant let you in " closed the door to make me walk vwey far to the lobby . Anytime i asked for extra towels i was told i need to bring old ones back. They made me feel so u comfortblw the shower curtain was dirty.

OOF- we had to have our first one bedroom suite room switched because when we arrived the door was propped open, there was an orange wrapper of sorts on the kitchenette counter, and someone had stuffed a tissue back into the tissue box in the bathroom/bedroom area (this was only noticed from the first 90 seconds of walking in) and it SMELLED so badly- the front desk people promptly switched us to a room on another floor, and this room was fine, but also smelled strangely stuffy (like dirty old man)- the facilities themselves are extremely worn- scuffs all over the walls, rusted out racks in the dishwashwer, rust in the toilet that does not go away with flushing- and the pillows also smelled like an old person. we stayed here pre covid visiting a friend, and liked it years ago- would NEVER return now... it is very run down and not well kept- AND they do not offer room cleaning at all. I was handed a paper that said you could have your room cleaned with a 24 hour request- the front desk person told me that was not the case. "It is an extended day so they do not offer room cleaning at all." Again- would NOT stay here... I was extremely disappointed, and shocked that this place had an 8.8 on expedia because this was like a 4.0 in my opinion.

Staff was great, they responded quickly to any requests. Property is tired - my main reason for low rating. Maintenance is lacking - doors in common areas have greasy hand prints and peeling paint. Entry to building nearest my room (156) had yellow paint marks (maybe from a paint gun) and cigarette ash ground into bricks near door. A smoking area should be established away from entrances. My room had about 20 bright red stains in carpet about 3/4 inch in diameter, refrigerator has about 6 dents in door, ottoman has no feet on it, and a mounting screw for missing foot fell out of the bottom when moving it to use fold out bed. The screw would have torn up a bare foot if I had not noticed it.

Just found the carpets to be uncleanly and the bed had marks on it. Hairs in the bathroom, it was bearable of course - but normal a high high standard. I don’t mean to come across pompous

Well located but in disrepair and smelled like weed.

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon for a week. We flew in then took an Uber from the hotel to the Morris Plains train station (only 5 min away) several days to get to NYC. We loved having a quiet, spacious room to relax in when we weren’t visiting the city. Our room felt clean, spacious, comfortable, and relaxing. The tv was our favorite part because it could be turned towards the bed or the couch. We also were able to do a load of laundry during the week. I will say, breakfast was extremely crowded every morning so we took it back to our room so we could sit. Other than that, it’s the perfect place if you want to stay somewhere affordable and relaxing when visiting NYC! (Also, we HIGHLY recommend eating at Grato Restaurant, 4 minutes from the hotel!!)

More of a relaxation trip for some peace and quiet

Overall a good experience with good pressure and hot water for the shower, comfortable bed and adequate space in the room, and a nice-sized refrigerator/kitchenette area. The continental breakfast offers a nice variety of foods that are tasty and fresh. The staff was helpful. The technology of the room keys could be improved - the room cards wouldn't work if there was any contact with cell phones.

Very clean one bedroom suite, newly remodeled, situated in a beautiful area with easy parking. Stayed for four nights, and we did not get any cleaning service. We were in town for a wedding, booked with errands so we did not make a big deal of it. Had to ask for towels, etc. Breakfast was great and offered many hot menu items to choose from . Overall we would give it a four star and would recommended to our friends and family!

The experience here wasn’t anything as expected. We arrived early asking if it was okay to check in early, we weren’t greeted but given an attitude by the receptionist, saying there were no room available for early check in. This was Friday morning (May 17th). My husband sensed the attitude and got into a back and forth with the lady. Then, when we came back to check in, the room wasn’t available so we were changed to a different room where the bed was full size for both my husband and I to sleep in. We are used to king size beds but were at least expecting the queen which we booked for. Being that we were on the second floor, the 3rd floor had a party and as a result everything was trembling at 10pm Sunday night. They have a 2 slot electric stove for the room we didn’t book ever worse that the pots and pans are for gas stoves because they weren’t flat on the bottom for the electric stove to heat it up evenly. Went to sleep late cooking 5 days worth of food in a smaller stove than expected. I called the front desk and spoke to a gentleman Sunday night and no one brought other options for me to cook with. I had to shift the pans around the edges to make sure our food was cooked thoroughly which we needed to take on the road for us since my husband is a truck driver.

One of the best hotels in a three month travel. Staff was friendly and studio room was like a small apartment. We will definitely be staying there again once we come back out this way
