Had to leave in middle of night horrible

I get you get what you pay for, however there was an unflushed toilet, dirty sanitary napkins in the trash, hair all over the counter and the bathtub..

On 7-14-2024 I got woken up by a rat. This was unbelievable. I have spent some time here and have never seen a rat before. I had to get up and go get the guy by the front desk to come and get the box that it ran into out of there. I also asked for a new room. The guy took me around some rooms and I saw rat poison in one of the rooms under the sink. They know they had rats and haven't done anything or notified me when I was booking that they had rats. Do not stay at the knights Inn in Farmington Hills Michigan. This is very unclean and unsanitary to have rats in a room.

Not a good place to stay. Just needed a place to sleep. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Dead bugs on the air conditioner unit. I killed at least 6 drain flies. Vanity light not working. Toilet seat wobbly. Generally filthy. Stunk like a giant cigarette. Did not stay.

The pictures made the property look clean, but dated. I would’ve been fine with something older and clean/retro. This was not the case. Everything was filthy and in disrepair. The flooring in the bathroom was worn to the point that parts of it had started chipping out. The bathtub was plagued with cigarette burns, the toilet had a fecal stain down the front. A piece of plywood and some crappy flooring had been screwed down with drywall screws over the toilet flange, presumably to cover rot, there was a large hole in the wall around the water valve for the toilet. The bed had been scooted off center of the headboard (which was cracked) and I scooted it back to leave more room, but it was filthy behind where the bed had been. The lampshades were dusty and stained. The pleated drapes/traverse track had been replaced with a curtain rod, and the curtains were too small for the opening. This place has the possibility of being charming with the fake Tudor styling of Knight’s Inns of yore, but not without a major investment that they clearly have no interest in, based on the quality of the “repairs” that have taken place. Additionally the police cruising through parking lot let me know that there had likely been seedy activities in the past.

The building and the rooms looked unkept. The rooms had a really horrible stench. I had to abandon it 5 minutes after checking in

It was okay. The smell of the cleaner masking the smoke smell was overpowering. Suppose to be non smoking. Old blood stain on the sheets. Not clean overall.

Not in the greater area

It's about what you would expect for a cheap hotel. Though moderately dirty, the room was fine. The bed was pretty comfy and my room came with a sofa and was fairly spacious, so that was a nice surprise. I woke up a few times in the night due to loud noise from the other guests. Some of the others staying/working there had a bit of that Detroit sketchiness to them. As someone who lives in a non-sketchy place, I got to feel a bit cultured by the people in this way. I’ll summarize the experience this way: your girlfriend/wife will probably see this place as rundown, but for a single guy like me who isn't picky, it was fine. Also, fast food nearby, good access to main road taking you in and out of town.

Pulled up to location and it looked horrible.

Old mattress, uncomfortable bed. Floor left something to be desired- my spouse would never have taken off shoes in this room. Would stay again if no other option but not intentionally. If you need an inexpensive place to sleep and shower for a short stay it’s survivable. Location is its strongest point.

Looked like the bare minimum is done to keep rooms available.

Absolutely the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Stay away! Pictures on the website look ok, but STAY AWAY...its HORRIBLE!!!

Was very disappointed with the room. Room was dirty, shower dirty, and the toilet. The fridge had sticky stuff in it. Bed had dirt all over the sheets. If I could of booked another motel I would of but I unfortunately couldn't afford it.

Basic accommodations for basic price. Staff was super friendly and the laundry room was fully functional.

Great staff but had to leave after 30 minutes. Got bit on my right arm by bugs a few times.
