Stay was ok. Checkin a bit odd because no one at front desk, just a kiosk with a screen on it. Room cleaning a bit lacking. Overall would stay again price reasonable.

Very strong odor of disinfectant, leak in bathroom, very small towels. Bath towels are just a little bigger than the normal hand towels.

Upon registering one has to leave an unexpected $100 security deposit which Hotel.com does not list or made customer aware off. One more thing to trace later on and see if it has been refunded. Hotel is completely automated and no one there to make sure that the deposit is refunded. Also no explanation for what the deposit is to be used.
Otherwise it has been an Okay stay. Best price dealing town if the security deposit is being returned.

This used to be such a cute little hotel, now it is so run down and decrepit. I unfortunately will not stay here again, it is in serious disrepair and need to be invested in.

For years we loved this facility. But now that one has to self-check in after 3 pm via AI type robot in the entryway, we were told the virtual screen was unmanned and we should go to the front desk. Of course we could not do that since the facility was locked, the desk unmanned anyway, and we were left sitting in the entry wondering what to do in order to take advantage of our reservation! By chance, someone walked past the front door on the inside and went to get us someone on-site to let us in. We find that whole situation of no desk staff after 3 pm entirely unacceptable— and with the aging/deterioration of the facilities (the fridge in our room was entirely out of order, the wifi only working in two-minute bursts which we were told is now the daily norm, etc), we probably will not try to stay here again.

The bad odor knocked us over when we opened the door. The rug was sticky, and my socks were black from walking on it. The tv only got 2 stations, both sports. There were stains on the wall. Basically needs updating, good cleaning, and room deodorizer.

one room smelt moldy and wet. Had small bugs. Later found out from the staff that main floor are for families who have pets and we got a room that probably had a pet and the small flying bugs were fleas.
second room had constat noise of the fridge and spider webs.

I would not have chosen this hotel had I known there was a refundable fee attached upon check in through a kiosk. This should be boldly printed so everyone is aware of extra fees whether refundable or not. They should also have signage upon entry.

This hotel is unstaffed. There is a kiosk for check-in that connects you via zoom with poor internet connection. Agent handling check-in kept breaking up and was difficult to understand due to accent combined with poor internet connection causing audio to break up, cut in and out, etc.
Hallway had a foul odor, could not quite place it. Almost smelled like urine

Expedia pictures are incorrect as there ia no breakfast anymore (but i expected thia after checking the hotel website). Garbage cans in public areas were full, water dispenser was empty, noisiest elevator so try to get a room away from the elevator, and no staff at the desk (other than at chexk in). While the room was clean, I'm not sure how thorough the cleaning as the wall was splattered. Adequate for the cost.

My wife and I really enjoyed everything about the room and the entire place except we would have been happier if there had been some type of a breakfast offered. Other than that it was clean and nice and a good place to stay.

A very old facility that was not kept up over the years. However, the room appeared to be clean, the bathroom tile and grout were bad but again it looked clean.
For the price and a quick place to lay my head, I would stay again.

We arrived at the property and could not access the lobby because there is a kiosk where you have to talk to somebody offshore to check in to your room. There was no staff on site for front desk responsibilities in the middle of the day. At the time in the lobby was a very unhappy individual that was being required to make $100 deposit which is required when you check in and it is not a hold on your credit card. It’s an actual credit card charge. She was blocking us from checking in, and it created a very uncomfortable situation. If there had been front desk staff, we would not have dealt with this issue. Upon arriving at my room, it was obvious that it was extremely rundown. There were areas of chipped plaster & holey upholstery. The carpet was filthy. The bath room was in need of renovating and had stains and mold in the tub. I checked in on a Thursday and did not check out until Sunday and my room was never serviced. I had to request clean towels and the towels were extremely thin and old. I believe this hotel several years ago was a nice place to stay and family run and clearly things have changed. Another incident happened to the friends I was traveling with and because there was no front desk, they had to call 911 due to an inappropriate individual outside their room on the first floor in the middle of the night, creating a disturbance. So unless you really are looking for a monetary deal and don’t care about your surroundings, I would not stay this location.

the matelas has to be changed. I had a sore back, I couldn't sleep because of this. I weigh 105 pounds and I never have any problem with a matelas before .

This was a very basic hotel. Looked like it was a Microtel previously as the rooms look exactly like a Microtel and that was fine. Clean but small. Everything well placed. Especially liked the 'night light' in the bathroom with just enough light to guide me there should I need to get up and go during the night. Thing I couldn't figure out was that they have a breakfast room, why not use it? It was there and dark the two nights I was there. All they offer is coffee in the lobby. That was the only head scratcher to me. Either use it for it's intended purpose (the 'breakfast hours' sign is still at the door!) or take the sign down at least. I was satisfied with the property for the price I paid. Would stay there again if I find myself in that area.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. No bugs !! Easy walking to go shopping, only a few blocks away. Walmart is a few miles away, but the local shopping was much better. The fruits and vegetables at Wegmans were very fresh. Reasonable priced. The furniture in the hotel was old, but still in pretty good shape. No breakfast is served here, but the local restaurant are reasonably priced .

I like this hotel for the price, it's not the best but it's enough. No front desk staff st night but the check in machine with virtual staff works. I think it is very convenient and I don't need a lot, the floor is bit dirty but it doesn't bother me.

It was convenient in location. Not user friendly for wheelchair bound folks. Also you had to sign in at a kiosk. No desk person after 3pm for most days.

IT took us 30 min to figure out how to sign in. Doors were locked. We couldn't get into lobby where the kiosk was in order to check in. Did not see a single hotel person until the next morning and she was rude. She didn't understand why she had to put a sign on the locked door to direct people to the one where guests could enter. Very clean, but no service at all. No people. Very unpleasantly spooky..

We have stayed at the Inn at the Finger Lakes a number of time over the years. Unfortunately, the quality of the property is deteriorating … maintenance is average. The internet was intermittent during our stay. The front desk said they contacted the manager who was disposed to fix it We were not impressed

While I did check in via the kiosk, it was not difficult. And FYI, there was a live staff member on duty in morning to check us out. The room and common areas were very clean, the bed was comfy, and best of all, it was quiet. The main street of Auburn is directly behind Inn, so we were able to walk into town and purchase some food. Angelos pizza was delicious!
