Great hotel! Best in Helsinki (and maybe in all the Nordics)

The hotel had the friendliest staff. The restaurant food was very good and the rooms were very nice. Perfectly located for walking. Highly recommend!

The guy who brought our luggage's was super nice. Before he left we found out that our tv didn't work. He went downstairs and came back with new room key and moved us to there...and it was upgraded room....what a great service and great guy, can't remember his name. You should give him a bonus....Kamp has been always our first choice when staying in Helsinki. Awesome place and service every time. Keep It Up!!

Ablosuletely loved our stay, we were only there for one night, but will definitely come back. The hotel is incredibly gorgeous, the lobby, the restaurant/bar, the room, everything about it is so beautiful. There are so many little details that make this hotel gorgeous. I was impressed and it is not easy to impress me. I stay in 5 star hotels all the time, but this one is one of a few that stood out to me. If you like old fashioned luxury style, you will love this. It’s very unique, feels very rich but at the same time, feels like home. It’s like visiting your grandmas house in a good way. I felt very comfortable, love the fact that there is a mall inside of the hotel. The check in process was very quick, very smooth, they were nice enough to let us have a complimentary late checkout without a question. We forgot our charger, and the reception was very sweet and let us borrow theirs. The thing I liked the most is that you can truly feel that the staff was genuinely nice and friendly. It didn’t feel forced upon them. It’s often when I visit a nice hotel I feel like the staff is not happy to see you and doesn’t really want to be there. But here it felt different.

Everything went smoothly, and the staff is exceptional!

We used to live in Finland and were excited to stay at the famous Kämp hotel. Their restaurant and bar are top notch and the service is awesome. For the hotel, you are absolutely paying for the location, as it is on the older side and needs a revamp in some areas. The carpets were worn and a bit disappointing that they aren’t vacuumed every day. Cleaning was very inconsistent and not what I would expect from a 5 star hotel. Maybe because we stayed in July and some staff are on holiday. I think we’ll give the St. George a try next time and then just pop into the Kämp for drinks.

Still a fabulous hotel at a great location, but it needs a refurbishment and they need to install proper controls for air-conditioning in the rooms

I have posted a review on Google. This is hands-down the best hotel in Helsinki. They really care about their guests and the dining and bar options are superb. Staff are impeccable and incredibly kind. A Grand Hotel experience, indeed!

Completely delightful hotel!

Excellent rooms and service, though expensive. Very good breakfast buffet. Some communication between staff could be improved, as they were repeatedly confused about our late check-out, granted when we checked in. Also, an email explaining the most convenient entrance would have been nice, as our cab dropped us off at the entrance to the Esplanade, which is a pain to negotiate with much luggage.

Comfortable, quiet, superb staff. Great location in the heart of Helsinki - on the Esplanadi, just 400 meters from Kauppatori market square.

Clean and large hotel room with great beds and no noise. Great service and late check out was possible. The breakfast was excellent. The bar was perfect. The best cocktails and our waiter was the best you could possibly get.

Wonderful hotel, but atm there are roadworks outside so access for taxis is limited and thete is noise.

The Kämp undoubtedly is the most elegant and noble hotel address in Finland. The personnel paid tribute to this fact throughout our stay. However, within the room, minor details such as missing items and lack of cleanliness, meant the reality failed to live up to the expectation. Now, as soon as they were addressed to the staff, they handled them, so overall no disaster, but still disappointing this is supposed to be the most impeccable address in Finland. Highlight must be said to be the breakfast buffet which, although maybe not as opulent in variety, delivered with magnificent taste of all items, and really stood out.
