The hotel room was great, with a wonderful view of the wasatch, and a small sitting area that worked well since I did spend a lot of time working in the room. Staff was all very responsive and helpful, I will definitely go back!

Bad experience at check-in due to curt & unfriendly staff member, plus a noisy room located right by a major HVAC junction.
Moved to another much better room, slept well & had lovely staff at check out

My wife and i went for a romantic night in Salt Lake City. The room was awesome, very romantic, and sofisticated. Early on, there was a yappy dog next door, but ad the night went on, it quieted down. The walls seemed pretty thin, as you could hear peoples voices. But we didnt know anyone, so we didnt think anyone would care if they heard us making "noise". The bed, bedding, pillows, everything was perfect.

New remodel is nice, but t lost a bit of its glamor, no wine in the afternoon , and it seems smaller somehow. More like all the other hotels.

We love The Monaco! It’s super convenient to lots of main attractions in SLC and the scooters all over make it fun to explore. The appys in the afternoon were great and we appreciated the coffee and tea service in the morning. Book your stay now. You’ll be glad you did!

I had experienced a flight cancellation, then a last minute rebooking the next morning to an earlier flight. I had stayed at this Kimpton before and enjoyed it. Due to the schedule change I was rushed and left my iPad in my room. It was very difficult to get in touch with the front desk, staff was unhelpful and unresponsive. Staff have not gotten back in touch with me. I have to assume my iPad was stolen by staff.

Stayed there 6 nights, lots of walkable options around. We valeted our car and the valet staff was awesome they always asked if we needed directions any where. Front desk was always super nice and helpful.

I don’t recommend staying in the summer. We called at 10:30pm because the AC only got to 73 degrees even though we set it to 68. The hotel responded by saying that the AC is at max capacity for the entire hotel and they offered to bring me a fan. Simply shocking that a four star hotel can’t get AC working as good as any other hotel.

Most comfortable stay, both in terms of cleanliness as well as top quality bedding. I have stayed at 5* hotels, but I could not say they top this hotel’s freshness of the bed linens. I slept like in my own bed. Would imagine that this quality is what any hotel which respects its clientele and prides itself in the business, should attempt to achieve. Hope you get the same experience as I had.

Everyone here was so kind and helpful! The room was very quiet and it was nice to have easy access to restaurants and fun entertainment. I would recommend this place to anyone, and would be happy to stay again!

I had a blast during my stay, it was super quiet. The room looked just as awesome as in the photos, if not better. Everything was spotless, and the staff were on top of things, making me feel totally welcome and safe. Chris was an awesome host from beginning to end, always with a smile.

Fantastic stay at the Kimpton for an event across the street at the convention center. It was easy to get to the venue without the craziness of onsite hotels. The hotel was beautifully Renovated, had the necessary amenities and was clean and fresh. Highly recommended!
