The room and hotel is dated and needs some updates. Room is small, beds too high and very uncomfortable. Not worth the price.

We requested a handicap room wich we got on the second floor but there was no elevator and the clerk would not switch our room to the first floor. Not sure how someone who is in wheelchair and could not walk would het to the room. Luckily mu mother could get up the stairs

A little dated, but the rooms were large and clean. No recycle bins. No breakfast available on the property; just coffee only. No microwave in the rooms; just a small one in the hotel lobby. Scenic views of the lake and marina. Appeared to be the nicest hotel in Washburn.

Everything was in very good shape, neat and clean. Our only issue was the pillows. All had lumps in them, except the one that was flat. But i dont sleep well, so maybe others wouldnt notice.

So for us was great. Was regular room at super reasonable price. Watched the sunset at lakeside restaurant steps away from inn. Enjoyed their coffee watching the sunrise on the waterfront on the marina dock. Serene with goose and duck flights on the go

The bathroom had mold in the shower and ceiling and the sheets were strongly perfumed which caused a problem with my allergies. The fridge was full of water and the key card worked maybe evwry other attempt. We were awoken by a crew resurfacing the parking lot at 8am outside our window with no notice prior to booking.

It was not so good. Room was adequate. Difficulty getting heat to work. Stairs up to room were not the safest. Clock on wall didn't work. Clock in bedroom went out every time you used the light switch to turn on/off light. Hotel facing wrong direction. No view of Lake Superior. Very disappointed in that. Coffee in a.m. was good but you need to have a breakfast service. Harbor Table except Bloody Mary was nice. Bloody Mary was awful. Walk along jetty was nice.

Beautiful spot. We had an ATV. Plenty of parking for the trailer and could access the trail from the parks lot. Beautiful walking trail nect to the lake and plenty of dining options near by.

Hotel was ok. The property was old. The price was inexpensive. The room we occupied continually smelled damp and musty. Beds were comfortable. Coffee was always available in the lobby. Not many amenities. Probably would not stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Washburn Inn. The rooms were clean, the staff was very nice, the views were beautiful and the rate was reasonable! Definitely would stay again.

Our stay was very mediocre. Room was clean, but could use some repairs. No breakfast or even a vending machine that we could find. Nice view of the lake from outside, but the property oddly faces sideways to lake, so no rooms have an actual view. Could hear every step the people above us took. Very pricey for no frills.

Not ADA compliant , no elevator to the 2nd floor,my wife is on oxygen for COPD,desk attendants comment was “its only 14 steps up”appreciate the concern 😑
Outdated,14” old toilet height, again not ADA compliant, rubber squeegee thing to stop the bathtub if you wanted to take a bath, TV had vertical lines in the screen (see photo)not positive but believe it stated online breakfast offered ( had a microwave and a coffee pot)
met another older gentleman this morning carrying his bags down the stairs, he was struggling to say the least, he commented that he was offered assistance, then shrugged his shoulders and continued slowly down the stairs

This is a bear bones hotel. Property is two stories with no elevator. We are seniors with heart problems. I did ask for a 1st floor room when I got there and there wasn't any available. I'll be sure to check out the elevator situation on any hotel in the future (I've never had this happen before). During check-in they had me read a page of rules (front and back) initial everything and sign both sides. There were signs all over the place stating that quiet time was from 10 pm - 8 am. I was afraid to even have my TV on after 10 pm. Also, no maid service if you stayed more than one night (we stayed two). Price was high for what you got.

The building, although updated, is an old building. No continental breakfast doesn’t meet today’s standards, especially for the cost. The room was fine and suited us well. The staff was very accommodating.

I liked the location. As for the rest it was OK. Price was way over priced, little out dated amenities none, pool, ht tub, nor breakfast. Bed and pillows were nice, luckily or it would have been bad. Since all we did was come back to the hotel and sleep after sightseeing I figured it cost us about $30/hr to sleep.

We were very happy-Rick checked us in and was super friendly and helpful throughout our 2 night stay. We had our pup and all went well. There was good coffee, ice machine and microwave in the common area. Wish there was a breakfast option. Our room was clean and beds/pillows very comfortable. The walking trail along the shoreline right out our back was beautiful. Loved sitting in the colorful chairs overlooking the water and harbor. We ate dinner both nights at Harbor Table right next door. Really great food.
We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

This hotel could use an update. Bathroom itself is extremely small, with sink outside in main area. Lowest toilet I have ever sat on. No microwaves in the room. Only one nightstand in the room. No elevator. The location and staff are great. But for a high season price I expected more than just “ location”. Will not return.

The staff was great - extremely welcoming and helpful! The location was also lovely. The property is quite dated and could use some serious upgrades. The AC unit was really loud and made it hard to sleep. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom also had a lot of water damage. Overall, the property was fine but definitely has seen some better days.
