Over priced rundown property. Carpets are very old. Bathrooms are tight. Parking was tight. Some kind of constant foul smell from the room. Location close to all attraction was the only best feature. Did not enjoy our stay at all.

Excellent location and 2 bedroom apartment is great for a family of 4. Facilities were good and beds comfortable. Adequate heaters for a winter stay. Could probably do with a lick of paint but did not detract from a fabulous experience here. Would definitely stay again.

Overall nice feel to the room. Was cold when we got there but the room was warm and inviting. Finding access was difficult because of the roadworks at the time had a lot of roads blocked.

Walkable to town, but ensure you are fit as is long and uphill 😄 great for young people needing an affordable place close to the centre. Room was clean and comfortable. There was a great mountain view from our room but we could hardly see it due to the 6foot walls around the balcony- great for privacy though I guess

We had a good stay at Hurley’s, everything you need is provided for. Great, walkable location. Friendly staff. An older motel but clean and tidy. Plenty of hot water and the room was warm. Tiny suggestion to provide a lockbox for the room card for early departures. Thank you.

Black Mould in the bathroom, very old and dated/chipped cabinetry, dust piled up in the bathroom vent, Grime built up on the light switches. No aircon just an oil Heater. Out of their control was the roadworks happening outside however $50 a night more than our following stays in Queenstown makes it extremely overpriced for what you get, or dont get

Sadly the roadworks were not advertised on this listing - these roadworks have been going on for a long time I was told and they do the really noisy work at night! I was offered to be able to move after my first night but given how booked up Queenstown was I wouldn't have been able to find anywhere else to stay same day. A notice to all people who book when they book about the roadworks would have been helpful. Nice big rooms and good shower pressure but the road works were terrible as they made the whole building shake.

Parking is tight. Top floor rooms have a balcony with a view but no air conditioning. Even after leaving the curtains closed while sightseeing, the room was extremely hot as well as the balcony due to the sunlight.

Hurley's is well placed in Queenstown but is suffering badly due to the ongoing roadworks in front of Hurleys. Noise from these roadworks can be intrusive.
The rooms are clean and well equipped and the front rooms have a great view of the lake from the window or balcony.
We would stay there again without hesitation.

Its an ok motel but far from special. Beds are good, cleaning is ok (some definitely-not-ours hairs in the bath). Wifi is patchy- it works but keeps dropping. On the second day I asked for a note to be left with the code for one of the two other Hurleys networks visible on my computer- no note forthcoming and my work call was pretty disastrous. Something that is absolutely not the venue's fault but needs mentioning is the current extensive road work programme right outside the bedroom window- if youre looking to stay in March, April or potentially May worth checking if the works are still ongoing as they are disruptive and intrusive.

Such a convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff. Older accommodation but comfortable. Linen clean, bathrooms old but clean, dishes clean, but blinds and curtains were filthy.

This property was in an area covered by road works which we were made aware of, however the interior appears to have been neglected due to these roadworks which have been ongoing for some time. You can walk into Queenstown however what the pictures don't show is that the hotel is on quite a steep hill for those with walking difficulties.

We stayed for two nights and a bit disappointed about the road works, which we didn't find out about until we booked and which was pretty noisy !!!!For the price of a two night stay, we though was pretty high and expected a more updated facility. It was with in walking distance to town, which was a bonus.

Easy walk into town and good parking.
The rooms were really clean, well thought out and in great condition.
The reception should be open longer. There were lots of people wanting to check in/out of the operation times, not uncommon given the distances people have to travel. When I did need reception, it didn’t open on time and no one answered the phone.
The gym isn’t 24/7 as stated in all the literature. Additionally, it didn’t have all the equipment shown on the website and it’s very rundown.

Spacious wellequipped room. Nice view from balcony. Very comfortable bed. Tiles around bath could do with a good scrub. Very quiet once the road works stopped for the day. A short ealk into town centre.

Just a pity there are extensive roadworks outside this & other properties. Did take away a bit of the experience but nothing that can be done. Clean, comfortable beds, a reasonable place to stay. Staff friendly & not too far from city centre.

Pros: Facility is a bit dated but extremely clean with very comfortable beds and pretty spacious rooms.
Cons: Check-in can be a nightmare if you are outside standard hours. There is no one on duty after 6pm. They supposedly leave a key which you have to go hunt for behind the building (not helpful when toting heavy bags). In my case they forgot to leave key and there is no emergency phone number posted (you have to hunt for this online and incur int'l phone fees to call). In the morning during regular hours, there was no one at the desk to ask questions (e.g where is bus stop for the airport).

Old property and facility is run down. It needs to get remodeled and renovated. Carpets are very dirty. On top of that it was the worst place we stayed at on our trip to NZ out of 10 properties. Yet it was the most expensive by far. Disappointing.

Loved this property and how easy it was to walk to what we wanted to do. Amenities close at 6pm, but will stay open longer if needed. Super clean, a little dated, but you really can’t beat the location.

Very outdated room decor and furnishings (honeymoon suite), although kitchen area was sweet. Bath was great as was the view. Unfortunately there was an awful lot of building work outside our room (not connected to hotel but spoilt view and our stay). I think we should have been notified of this prior to booking and visit.
