Two day break. Very central. Very walkable.

2nd time staying and again hotel is undergoing some renovations. This time there was no lift to the top floor. Also no coffee facilities in the room and the machine in the lobby was temperamental. Rooms could do with a bit more decoration - a bit minimalist really. Would probably stay again just because of the location but only if the deal includes breakfast, which is expensive if paying for separately.

Great location in centre, helpful reception staff, good garage below with ample width parking bays.

Stayed at this hotel several times over the years - this time it wasnt as good as i remembered. General attitude of reception staff, and appearence.

Close to the main square and canal. Hotel had self service mini shop in the reception which was very handy. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Hotel is run down and needs a face lift including elevators and halls. No coffee in rooms, only pay as go in lobby. We received a ragged see through towel. No hand soap. We were very disappointed.

Great location, housekeeping and AC. Elevators were dingy looking. Some of the front desk people were rude.

The hotel needs a refresh. The hallways and floors were pretty shabby. The room was ok. Good for a night. Location is fantastic and staff was nice. Breakfast was adequate.

Great location, only 15min walk from train station, or a quick bus ride. Hotel felt new. Comfy bed, nice quite room although a long walk from reception. Would have been 5 stars for clenliness however this was dropped given there were 2 mosquitos splattered across the walls. For the price hotel brekfast was expensive as hot buffet had limited variety and food and drink were not replenished reqularly for a busy saturday and sunday morning so many breakfast items were not available.

Stayed a week and enjoyed it very much.. They had a breakfast each morning very large... Our room was very well done in decor and comfort.. Would stay again... not overly priced.

It was in a fantastic location and a beautiful building

The hotel was nothing special, the AC unit oddly placed, slow drains, breakfast was underwhelming.

Rooms were clean & good quality; Free self service of sparkling water on level 5 appreciated.

We were on the 4th floor (the attic), the little window 1 ft x 1 ½ ft open fed up to a big steel duct blocking both any escape as well as any view/light. Towels were threadbare and small. Barely fitted in the shower. All in all this was not the place for us.

It is a lovely hotel. Our bicycles were stored securely. The staff are great. The only issue we had was the free wifi did not function well, frequently dropping us out.

The staff by far made my stay! I was in a tough situation and they went above and beyond, especially Ellen, to make sure I was safe and felt as comfortable and taken care of as possible! I will definitely be back and will stay at Martin’s every time!

Great spot to stay in Chew Magna. Very nice place to stay with great staff and pub.

Overall a nice hotel, clean, very quiet and comfortable. Had a great sleep! The staff are extremely friendly, professional and helpful. The location was perfect and we were only 5-10 mins walk from every where we visited. It was a lovely stay. We would love to stay there again but only downside is there is no tea and coffee or water in the room. I saw this when booking and meant to just try and be more organised and get water from the supermarket on the way back, was around €1 for a big bottle, we forgot until we were in pjs and in bed, had to all get dressed again as couldn’t leave my son alone in the room, and go down to the lobby and nearly €4 for very small bottle we had to get 4, so spent €16 on water! We were pushed for time in morning so couldn’t have a cup of tea when we woke up. Everything else was great, and absolutely would have recommended to others and stayed there again. But travelling can be very stressful and small things like having a drink in your room so you don’t have to rush round at night makes a big difference. I likely would stay again and try to be more organised, but would definitely look around and see if there’s somewhere similar but with better in room services just to have that peace of mind to have a more stress free stay.

Rubbish. Don’t be fooled that this hotel is above standard. Never ever did I feel valued as a customer and any issue that I encountered was never resolved. I would never go back. Only plus for this establishment is location.

The location is ideal for a few days in Bruges. However, the hotel looks a little careworn and untidy. It has very little ambience. Some of the ‘great' rooms have a strange odour of damp or worse. The staff were helpful and moved us to a room that was fine, although it was not what we had booked and paid for. The management were aware of the issues and they obliged us with a reasonable discount. However, given the problem, I was perplexed that they had assigned the room to us at all. Overall, the hotel was OK for our purposes, but due to the experience, I would choose it again.

First, pay attention to the hours you arrive. Do not take the "no cars" on certain streets, lightly. Make sure to follow the hotels instructions regarding the online permit application! Parking is not easy, I suggest parking in one of the nearby lots and carrying your luggage for check in. There is a convenient parking garage, but it is expensive and does not offer vehicle charging. The room I stayed in had no kettle or mini fridge. I do not know if this is typical for all rooms. I honestly didn't pay attention in the hotel description. The room did have a great view with windows that opened fully. It also had an individual HVAC system which I did not use. The hotel is located in a great location and is very close to the Market.

The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about Bruges. The location was very good as it was central to all the main sights.

Excellent stay with very friendly staff and in a fantastic location. It was our first trip abroad for the children and a stop over whilst heading to a wedding. The room was comfortable and the boys loved the bunk beds.

Good Central location, close to everything. Comfy bed and great ensuite bathroom. Sadly the black out curtains were in our condition with wear/ holes. The floor of our room was dusty & one of our pure white quilt covers had a stain on it.

This is an excellent hotel! You couldn’t pick one that is more centrally located and walkable to everything there is to see. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The room was quiet at night and meticulously clean. I would happily stay here again.
