We loved our stay here. It was just a 1 night stop over on the drive down to Sydney but we wish we stayed longer. We stayed in a penthouse which was amazing value for money.
The whole grounds are great, with great pools and kids play areas. The restaurant was also very nice.

Rm 2101 needs some carpet replacement so that the room will not be smelly like an old man, better change it with wood tiles to remove the bad smell. Even when we checked out the smell is still in my nose.

Beautiful little spot. Very quiet and surrounded by nature. Lovely ocean view from our top floor apartment. Nice and clean and comfy inside.

Normally I stay and the rooms are very clean
however on this stay the room was very outdated with a funny smell coming from the bathroom and from the outdated decor needs a upgrade for sure

The property is in a beautiful valley, lovely grounds, very good restaurant, however the rooms are old dated damaged furnishings bathroom old chipped tiles, very slippery tiles when wet. Time for some renovations and some TLC.

Bathroom looks like its falling apart, the shower head fell off basically felt unclean and not maintained no service in restaurant

This was my first visit to Pacific Bay Resort. We were warmly welcomed by Bill (Manager). He was super helpful and friendly. It made the stopover on our journey South a very pleasant one. I will be stopping here more often when we travel South to meet family.

We normally stay at this Resort when we travel to Queensland each winter and have always been satisfied with them. This trip we made a mistake by trying another similar resort nearby in Coffs on the trip north and was very disappointed and will not return or even supply them a review (as you had requested).

Great 2 night stay with the family whilst visiting coffs. Close to big banana and shops. Penthouse spa was a for the kids and memorable time together. Spacious and well equipped apartment

This place is excellent to stay for an holiday break. We are planning to go back there again during the Summer time. The staff are super friendly and very accommodating. Loved the reception area and restaurant and outside gardens. Room is worth for the money paid. We had a good time during our stay.

Seems to be mixed reviews on this property, as a guess I assume some units are individual owned. Unfortunately ours was a bad experience. Booked a 3 bedroom apartment and ended up with a dual key apartment, not ideal for a family. The room itself was extremely dated which is fine as long as it’s clean, which it wasn’t. Highly recommend not chancing this place and booking elsewhere.

Excellent place to stay - we had the executive one bedroom apartment.. it was large, spacious, light and airy. There was just a lot of dust on the bathroom window screen, other than that it was clean enough. And we were able to get more towels and bathroom products when required. Good value for the price. We stayed Thursday and Friday night. No issue with parking - we had a trailer. I have seen other reviews and we did not experience any negative issues. The front office manager was great, he came out and greeted us as we tried to enter through the wrong door. We did not eat at the property as we weren’t too keen on the menu options. We would definitely stay again .

Generally pleasing all round. But could not open balcony doors (a fire risk!) due to poor maintenance that so often happens with these accommodations. Doing the Solitary Islands coastal walks on adjacent beach/headland is a must. Pity staff do not advise guests of this natural beauty.

I would ever eat at the Restaurant again, as the food was appalling.
I ordered Prawn and Chile sauce in Angel hair pasta, paid $38
Would have been lucky to have had 1 Prawn in the dish as they cut IT up into very tiny pieces, no chile flavour what so ever and piled on Angel pasta.
Would have got better value for a $1 2 minute soup.
Complained to waiter, he told manager, who didn't even both to talk to me.

Staff were fantastic. Very helpful since I needed to arrive late. Good spot in Coffs Harbour.
Room had been updated since my last visit, but still a little dated looking. Really lacked ventilation after having a shower (late at night).
The place was a bit of a maze to navigate, but fine once I found where I needed to be.
Would visit again.
