in general everthing was excellent, when the hotel is full you need to look for parking.

Typical Scandic in a super location. Friendly staff, good breakfast (but crowded) and comfy beds.

Centrally located. Beautiful area. One minus: on arrival a rude receptionist refused to accept my prepaid hotels.com booking. Told me that they only accepts payment at the hotel even though I showed them a receipt with paid amount from hotels.com. Very rude receptionist told me to pay (again) or leave as there was a line forming behind me. So in pouring rain went back to the car with my baby and wife. We called hotels.com and they fixed the situation for us. Otherwise a great stay.

Fine hotel, well sited at the harbour for access to the train station, boats to Koster, and the town. Clean and tidy room and bathroom. Good hotel restaurant and bar, and great breakfast. Very helpful staff.

The hotel is in a very good location of Strömstad, right by the water. The room was as expected. Unfortunately, the reception staff were not helpful, especially the night staff (rude). Air conditioning centrally controlled and the room was too hot - uncomfortable sleep for a warm summer night. The bathroom and around the room was clean but a bit dusty. The breakfast was okay and the staff there were nice and helpful.

The head waitress was rude and sarcastic. Definitely a hotel to avoid if you wish to eat gluten free without having to clarify your knowledge on what foods are or are not gluten free.

Breakfast was very good.The wiev is fantastic.The chairs at the bar tables are uncomfortable.

Kinda small rooms, lit of conventioneers. But worth it to be able to take a ferry to the islands and bike around the Mister national park

This is a relaxing and nice hotel with great view of the harbour,good service and a nice breakfast.Easy walk to town and seversl restaurants close by.A quiet place.

I liked the friendly welcome, the bar, restaurant and the central location. I did not like that my room was very warm. It made it difficult to sleep in the night.

Bed not comfortable. And if you want to. Hear music from TV you have to pay every 30 min. Parking very expensive 195 kr. Have not room service after 21.00

I don't see how this hotel got such good reviews. I'm not that picky when it comes to a play to sleep but this place left me underwhelmed. It was just okay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room is spacious, but I didn't find it particularly clean (the windows looked like the had smudges all over and the tv hadn't been dusted in a long time by the looks of it!). Bathroom looked like it needed a deep clean or redone. The wifi connection sucked, and it would have been nice to have a mini fridge. I also found the lighting in the room limited. I felt like I was always in the dark. Loved our view and location to everything in Strömstad. I also liked the breakfast a lot, typical Swedish breakfast with lots of good food to choose from, which really helped to redeem my thoughts of the hotel.
