We had an amazing time at Le Mas Candille. The facilities were great, the room was spacious. Unfortunately the Spa was fully booked and the Michelin restaurant was closed. We will have to come back as it was a pleasant experience and amazing staff. I would recommend.

The location and view are special. The buildings are separated and give the impression that one is in the country. The staff is very helpful and tries to make your stay experience.

The hotel is gorgeous, and the village of Mougins is stunning- and so close. We loved the pool, the food, and our room.

Cleaning schedule could be set up more efficiently.

Amazing stay at Le Mas Candille. Stayed in the Villa Suites and had a great room. Food is fabulous and great location.

Overall excellent. Lovely property carved into hillside. Spacious, well furnished room & large bath. Friendly, attentive staff. Only clitch was room availability: arrived 3.30pm, room not available til 4.40.

Great location, great facilities. Restaurant staff had rather French attitude even though they were clearly seasonal staff not career professionals. Going in later in the evening and asking for coffee only seemed to offend them but eventually was no problem. “We are closing soon” at 10pm when they routinely are open to midnight was just snottiness. Some very ugly modern and cheap built structures with cheap mirror coatings on windows ruined the look of the place. Real eyesores. My second stay and room was tiny with aged bathroom.

Bedroom was depressing. Bed was 1m40 and very uncomfortable. Bathroom was for disabled persons with shower in bathroom and no shower tray.

Stunning in every way. My wife said that if she had 3 days left to live I should take her back to Ravello - but maybe not any more.

It’s a really nice hotel if our room is not facing the car park! We reserved a superior room with a balcony! When we saw our room, it’s quite disappointed, it’s dark & facing the car park which have no privacy at all! So I talked to the staff to express our feeling of disappointment as it’s our 30th wedding anniversary celebration ! The staff, Charlotte , she was very nice & helped us to find another room with the valley & Garden view but we needed to pay extra €80 per night ! Oir Room was less than €300 per night and we also had a coupon of 8% off! For an €80 extra for the nicer view (the room was exactly the same ) which was quite expensive but we had no choice but to accept it, otherwise we would be very unohaaoy with the room! The next day I checked with th website & found that the deluxe room was only about €50 extra ! So I talked to Charlotte about this issue! Another disappointment that Charlotte told us that the hotel would not adjust the rate! Although it’s only three nights but we did feel ripped off! If we knew the view was so lousy, I would rather booked the deluxe room. I laying €50 extra with the 8% discount coupon ! But now we have to pay €80 per night ! Other than this issue, the house keeping never replenish the water & also the toiletries! I requested an extra duvet but was told that they don’t have any extra , so I was only given a blanket (it’s a 5 Stars hotel but these services didn’t entitled it) . Luckily he environment & landscape are very nice!

Nice hotel in area north of Cannes. Very quiet but easy to walk to Mougins with many restaurants.

We are pleased with our stay except for the breakfast. For the price paid we would expect more. The buffet was limited as there was nothing left of the hot dishes and IT took ages to come up with more.

Charming hotel with amazing grounds. Had a wonderful time.

We last stayed here more than 30 years ago when the hotel was a small characterful hotel with one little pool. On returning all these years later we were delighted to find Le Mas Candille has retained its charm whilst now providing luxurious facilities and amenities. The staff were a happy team, working together to provide extremely professional, attentive and friendly service, making our stay relaxing and comfortable. Our one week's holiday was special and quite perfect. We enjoyed the gardens, pools, views, atmosphere and wonderful food. Breakfast on the terrace was a lovely start to the day and dinners taken by the pool or in the main restaurant were delicious and provided a wonderful end to the day. We could not have wished for anything more and it was particularly reassuring to find the hotel owner on site and interested in feedback that could make our stay better. We look forward to returning to this lovely hotel.

quality hotel with excellent staff. sadly the large bed was 2 singles pushed together which sagged in the middle. this should not have been the case in an establishment of this nature. Their remedy was protruding wooden planks, which were a hazard on getting on or off the bed

Room overlooked car park & situated above service room. Room at entrance of corridor. Very noisy as you can imagine. Room carpet soiled & wall paper water stained. As much privacy on balcony as sat on hard shoulder of M6! Staff very good & helpful however. As a 5C member I have stayed in much better hotels.

We booked this hotel after seeing an article about it in a magazine... we're so glad we did! From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty... the staff couldn't do enough for us! It is everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel but the attention to detail really sets it apart from anywhere else we've stayed. Andries (reception and housekeeping manager) was amazing and really made our stay.... he's a mine of information and so incredibly helpful. The service, rooms, pool and jacuzzi areas are beautifully maintained and an army of staff work round the clock to keep it so. Mougins itself is a charm.... just up the hill from the hotel. If your legs aren't up to it the hotel are happy to whiz you up in the golf buggy! Mougins (the old village) has a number of lovely restaurants and it also has a fabulous museum which houses an incredible private collection ... well worth a look ! Le Mas Candille has it spot on.... luxurious without being pretentious and it's all in the details! Worth every single one of it's 5 stars. We haven't stopped talking about it since we got home and have recommended it to almost anyone who'll listen. Well done Le Mas!!!

We loved everything about this hotel. Great service, understated elegance. Not cheap, but worth it. Restaurant a bit expensive, but one of the best we've experienced. Not the easiest place to get to until or unless you know your way around the area, but worth the effort.

Excellent hotel with very helpful staff. Pool service disappointing in September - you're either open or you're not ! No sign of anyone unless called by phone. Beds extremely hard and uncomfortable - gave both of us back problems later.

A small hotel, wonderfully located for exploring the Cote d'Azur, but a refreshing oasis from the traffic and crowds of the popular resorts. We particularly loved the spa, the proximity to Mougins and the gardens. On the downside, the quality of the service was frequently indifferent and did not match the hefty price tag. In particular, inadequate arrangements were in place for wet weather breakfasting (staffed stood by and watched as ladies struggled with wet chairs and tables) and staff had a tendency to prematurely clear tables (including personal belongings) and reallocate whilst diners were inside choosing from the buffet.
