Forget about 5 star hotells in Chamonix...this is the place to stay at! You might miss a television or a hairdryer but the hotel has so much more to offer. Friendly and helpful staff, fantastic food and a great atmosphere!!

We had a wonderful stay! Staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

We felt really looked after from start to finish and the food is always excellent value for money It’s located a short walk from town and convenient for buses to the piste.

Great place to stay! Easy 10 min walk to city center. Train and bus stops are also right infront of the hotel. Very helpfull and friendly staff, cozy and warm interior. Breakfast and dinner were both very good. The one minus is that there were no shampoo, only one piece soap. All and all very nice stay for a three night winter trip and would definitely stay here again!

Exceptional service! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. We have special dietary requirements - veggie+gluten free, and the chef at the restaurant prepared delicious meals especially for us. I cannot thank him enough! The reception staff were also very helpful and as it was our first time in Chamonix made all the arrangements of ski hire and passes absolutely trouble free.The location of the hotel is also excellent - metres from the bus stop if you are with ski boots, and a nice easy walk into town when wearing comfortable shoes. On the last day we had the opportunity to checkout early, enjoy a day of skiing, have a chance to shower and change back at the hotel and wait for our transfer in comfort.The one small issue with the hotel is the fact that it is an old building and the noise insulation is not great. But would still highly recommend and visit again!

This hotel/lodge would of been a 5 star but was let down by unusable showers (went hot/cold every 30 seconds), poor internet and fixed menu restaurant. Staff very friendly. FYI No lift

We only had a one night stay but it was great. The lodge was comfortable with friendly staff. They offer breakfast for a fee. It was good and they even had gluten free bread for me.

Good quality and proportion sized evening meal. Good service from staff and well cleaned. Dissapointed that no toiletries provided.

Overall a great stay and experience. They couldn’t have been more accommodating to any requests we made (wife is pregnant), so they even tailored her meals every night (we did half board- food is quality, would recommend that option). Rooms are basic enough but you’re in Chamonix for the outdoors so it’s not an issue.

we stay here for 1 night in Chamonix with the option to have breakfast and dinner included.For the price: I booked with hotels.com inadvance for 181 euro per night and I realised the price is dropped few days before the check-in date, since my booking is non-refundable, I didnt know that I can call hotels.com to have the price adjusted. When we arrived the hotel, the reception confirmed the price is cheaper but since we booked with third-party, there is nothing they can do. Again, you should contact hotels.com if this happened, especially 24 hours before the check-in date.For the dinner included with the booking, it was amazing, 5 courses dinner and free wine. Amazing (it is the Christmas dinner on 24th DecFor the room, it is very small, the bath room is the smallest bathroom I ever seen.There is no hot shower, only warm shower. When it is snowing outsdide and you cannot have hot shower, it is quite frustrating. But the room itself and the lodge is very warm. The staffs are friendly, 5 stars for their customer service.The hotel is 15mins walk to the centre, not too far away.

It is a good hotel and value for money. Pro: The hotel and room were clean. The room was basic but everything did work and was clean. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast that you could add for 10 euro's pp. Nice view on the Mont Blanc from the breakfast area. Very close to the train station and bus stop. Walking distance to city center. con: limited amenities in the room. No water boiler in room although the hotel offered a thermos. No TV in the room but it was possible to use the one in the common area. Overall the hotel is value for money and a good place to stay.

We booked the 4 single beds room. It's perfect for our family. Hot shower works great. Right by the train station(every one hour) and bus station (every 30 mins). Nice cozy lodge with mountain view on both side.

The stairs are quite steep especially to the second floor so I would not recommend carrying heavy luggage. We were only there for one night so we left our main bags in the car and just carried up stuff for overnight. It worked well.

This was our favorite place during our two week European vacation. Great lodge feeling at the base of Mt Blanc. The room was clean and had plenty of room for four people to get around.

We came in a heatwave so with no ac it was hot! Good Location, easy walk into town, good breakfast, they have very good restaurant with one entree a nite. Room was a little crowded for 3 adults. Lots of stairs, no elevator, convenient on-site parking. Super nice staff.

Functional hotel room with a good bar and breakfast. Need to take transport to get to the ski slopes.

Wonderful, small full-service hotel in Chamonix. Very helpful staff. Delicious dinners. Great views. Comfortable beds in 4-bed family room. What more can I say?
