Enjoyed my stay. Staff extremely helpful. Rooms are extremely clean. Had a double room with 2 double beds. The dining options was limited, but guest have the option of dining at Legends Beach (Samsara sister Hotel). Guest also have the option to use the beach. These are great additional facilities to Samsara Cliff Resort

Customer service was bad. But I would like to show my appreciation to one member of the staff her name is Carolyn you needs to have her teach the restaurant staff about customer service

The customer service provided by the staff at the facility was excellent and the room was commendably clean. One of the main disappointments experienced was the absence of several recreational activities depicted upon booking. It should also be noted that the resort is not as newly renovated as the pictures posted.

Didnt like the doors

My family spent 5 days at the Samsara. First disappointing thing was to arrive and be offered a late lunch of burgers, chicken salad and pizza…who goes all the way to Jamaica to eat American food? We requested drinks with our meal and were told we had to go downstairs to the bar order and wait for the drinks and bring them back to our table. The staff were not polite, they made us feel like we were disturbing them. We requested drinking water and were pointed in the direction of an igloo water cooler with paper cups dangling from the side. When I asked for a bottle of water, I was advised that I would have to pay for it. I explained that we had purchased the all inclusive package… the staff advised that bottles of water were not included in the all inclusive package. I explained that my wallet was in the room and asked for the cost to be added to my room . The bar tender said that could not be done as the system was down, I had to pay cash or drink the tap water. I eventually purchased bottles of water from a store outside of the resort got back to the room to find we had no fridge, no microwave. On another occasion we decided to eat our meal outside by the sea and returned our plates to the bar area. The bar tender rudely told us that we should return the plates to the dining area… and we thought we were being polite by not leaving our dirty plates on the outside tables. The place was rundown, had lousy food, and impolite staff. Don’t go there!!!

I was here during the hurricane and the owner and the workers was amazing , except for the day of the hurricane when we went to get dinner and stuff blowing over our heads . One of the supervisor in the kitchen is forcing us out the restaurant but the yards man telling u it was not safe . Because we could not leave she started yelling at her employees IN front of everyone to let us go in the danger out in the storm with zinc flying everywhere. But overall chill and nice spot

This hotel has a lot of potential unfortunately we didn’t stay in the new part, but the old part was quite tired and needed refreshing. The beds were very uncomfortable and the room was quite damp that was due to it was built and the constant front of the water maybe but we love staying there just wish we could stay a bit longer experience the beginning was very welcoming

House keeping was not adequate and were slow, food menu not diversified. Is far from 7 mile beach Nice for cliff jump, areas to seat and watch sunset.

Resort was nice but staff played around mad feel uncomfortable.

Do not book the bungalows! Ask to be placed in the newer building. Was told the bungalow I booked was unavailable and we were taken to “newer” rooms which was not true. Room was old and covered in mold. After walking around resort saw the actual new rooms and had staff move us. The actual new rooms were beautiful and clean. Staff was amazing all over.

Towels and face towels not available had to ask multiple times did not change out when asked. I WOULD OF BROUGHT MY OWN TOWELS. THEY ACTED LIKE IT WAS WAS SACRED. Asked to change bedding. It was not done had to go back and ask again to have shests changed, because they were dirty. BED BUGS!!!!!! AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS MOSQUITOS, IT DEFINITELY WAS NOT! IT WAS BED BUG BITES. Paid for all inclusive. It was a joke. Minimal drink options that were weak & one beer option. Food.... TERRIBLE!!! Only thing worth eating was the breakfast...cant go wrong with eggs. Hey but in the long run beautiful view from property. It was amazing.

This hotel was a great location if you want a more secluded place but close to 7 Mile Beach. Pros: 1. Jumping off the cliffs, beautiful view. 2. Food was authentic and tasted great. 3. Bar served good drinks. 4. Getting around was easy...they have taxi drivers readily available. Cons: 1. I did not get the all inclusive package because I knew I was going to want to eat at different places. But in my opinion not worth the price because there is a limited variety and food is not out and available all day like other all inclusives I have been to. They have set dining hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...no snacks in between. No room service either. 2. Customer service was either bad or great. Some staff more helpful than others. 3. Resort could use upgrades...i.e. lounge furniture, cabanas. The resort is really quite cute and cozy if more amenities were available. I stayed in the Deluxe 2 bedroom sea view, literally 2 bedrooms only with one bathroom, no sitting area. This side of the hotel is newer so it was comfortable. However, I am a coffee drinker and there is no coffee maker in the room so I would have to go BUY coffee from the dining area, no complimentary coffee. 4. Entertainment on Sunday only. Glad we arrived on Sunday and there was a great band. The rest of the evenings were very quiet. Only thing of interest was the bar. 5. Bring your own beach towel. They are not provided at resort. 6. Face towels provided upon request.

Reese was amazing.

Friendly staff. Quiet, comfortable, great value. Enough room to find privacy. Beautiful pool. We really enjoyed our stay.

Best rum punch for the money. Won’t need more than two. Relaxing atmosphere. Kind accommodating staff. No frills and thrills here. Bare essentials only so if you’re seeking luxury or amenities this isn’t your place. It’s excellent for the price. Food is not great but I knew that from previous staffs so I don’t recommend all inclusive. But for a place to lay your head while You venture out you can’t beat it. I wish there was a plug in the bathroom for hair purposes. Good air conditioning, tv with cable and wifi. A balcony with a view of the water. You’ll get your moneys worth

We stayed in a bungalow in the garden area across street from main resort and it was so private and nice with ten front porch with hammock. Highly recommend.

Nice and low-key spot. Staff were typically very friendly, especially once you got to know them. Food selection was limited but always extremely high quality, delicious and satisfying. Their Cooks really know how to cook! I stayed in one of the older buildings. The room was cleaned daily and in decent shape if a bit dated. A/C worked well and view was great. The hot water never really worked but we never complained. We didnt need it as the water was not cold enough to prevent us from showering. There is a water shortage in Negril right now so dont expect fresh towels or beac towels. I recommend bringing a beach towel. The cliffside location was a nice change from our typical beach destination. The water was crystal clear an there were no weeds or sand to worry about. Jumping off the cliffs was fun and the snorkling was great. Access to their sister beach resort (Legends Negril) was easy and gave us the sandy beach experience when we wanted it. My wife and i really enjoyed our time at Samsara and we will not heaitate to recommend it to someone who is willing to try something different from the big all inclusive resorts. We would also be happy to return in tfe future.

I did not like the staff hounding me about money and making me feel like I was not going to pay

Great stay at the Samsara Hotel in Negril. Beautiful grounds, excellent time snorkelling off the cliffs. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful arrangement with their sister hotel on the beautiful 7 mile beach, Legends, providing a shuttle between the two hotels. Hotel room a bit tired on the older side of the hotel although still quite comfortable. Loved having a balcony in the quieter garden area. Great views of the ocean from so many locations. And fabulous two pools, again with a great view of the ocean.

Beautiful property but should not be included in the list of all inclusive vacations as it does not offer the same quality of all inclusive vacations that can be found elsewhere. It would be better marketed as a quiet/private getaway. Additionally it needs to be clearly stated that specific rooms are not included in the all inclusive package.

Fabulous stay at Samsara. I always love swimming in the Ocean at this historic hotel across from the Blue Cave Castle which us sadly closed. Terrific balciny views of the ocean. Dreamy
