Everything was fine except the door lock has a lot of issues.

It was an incredible experience; the place is very pleasant and is very close to the lake.

Been staying at 3 Peaks whenever I travel to Tahoe for probably close to 25 years now. That should be an endorsement enough by itself.
Great hot tub, comfortable bed and a clean hot shower. Close to the shore for a hike along the beach and a generally friendly atmosphere.

we love this place . jacuzzi is great we hopped pool would be open . we liked seing the 🐻 2 night straight digging in garbage .neighbor complained about noise before 10 pm n we were only in room to sleep . and i have 3 kids n dont like upstairs.it was annoying getting knock on door about noise because my kids were excited on balcony to see bear . people with kids should be put downstairs especially with a 2 year old

This is my favorite South Lake Tahoe motel. Inexpensive, no nonsense, good service. Very close to the trails and lots of restaurants.

The “resort” was just ok. Only 1 person was available at check in. He was an absolute doll, but there were 5 parties requiring his assistance at a time. Things were broken (no que ball on pool table, pool gate non-functional) but the beds were super comfy, the room, heated by a small ac unit that ran somewhat loudly all night, was nice and warm, and I appreciated the refridge. They offered hot coco, coffee and tea in the lobby, but couldn’t keep up with the coco demand. We ended up with one packet total. Double decker hot tub was nice. Pool deck was icy.

The front desk could not find my booking so he had to call his supervisor. When he did find it he gave me a room that was already occupied which was embarrassing. Had to go back to front desk to tell him he screwed up.

I always try to stay here when I’m in SLT. Older place that needs upgrading but I’d rather they didn’t and raise the price. Well equipped rooms. Generally pretty clean with comfortable beds and a funky gas fireplace. My wife was highly amused by the bears in the trash dumpsters. I recommend it

I paid the room fee online with Hotels.com, the motel charged me a second time for the room.
The shower valve did not have a limit to the hot water.
While I was adjusting the temp it came out scalding hot, burned my hand.

It was not bad but the sheets had stains on them and there was quite a bit of hair on one the beds.

The staff are very unfriendly. They don’t seem to understand hospitality. We didn’t need much but the two times I asked for something they claimed was available, not only were they “out” but the staff were rude. I really liked the room even though it smelled weird. The hot tub was nice and so was the bed.

Great jacuzzi and pool. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice shower but no hot water.

Hello, they gave us a different room which is below our expectation. Missing the kitchenette, and smell smoke or cigarette. The bathtub door glass is dangerous, not working nor sliding well,
In fairness, the lady working on Saturday morning was nice, friendly and helpful, including the tech who brought us extra blanket. Thanks for that.
The pool and spa are refreshing.

This hotel has always been top notch. Building is very run down. Staff not very friendly.

AC didn't work and also most lights in the room didn't work. Great location, but not sure why it's called a "beach club" as it was not on any beach. Room with kitchen including cookware, small appliances and utensils was convenient. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants, Heavenly Gondola and the casinos. Nice, helpful staff.

Over all nice place but we had 3 issues shower handle was broken, phone was broken couldn’t call front desk to get someone to fix and the family next to us had a 10year old yelling and breaking things at 11 o clock at night

Items of concern 1) dresser drawer frame was broken, 2) fan lamp broken but they replaced it because we needed the overhead light 3) after fan lamp replaced, no clean up was done, ceiling particles on carpet, leaves from there shoes and other items left on carpet 4) no printed instructions to operate TV. These are the items that come to mind.

The hotel is in significant need of renovation, with peeling paint, outdated decor, and mold in the bathrooms. Our key cards failed multiple times, which was quite inconvenient. We had to change rooms after discovering that the heater in our original room wasn’t working, despite near-freezing temperatures that night. Initially, the front desk staff was dismissive of our concerns, but they eventually accommodated us when we insisted on the need for a functional heater. Additionally, the pullout couch had an uncomfortable, thin mattress and was missing several springs. On the positive side, the location was convenient, within walking distance to the beach and some nice restaurants. However, we are very unlikely to stay here again.

It was such a beautiful cozy home feeling hotel! I will be booking all winter long. The rooms were clean, had everything you could possibly need for a vacation.

We waited two hours after check in and didn’t get into our room cause the hotel keys didn’t work. The shower didn’t drain. The floor didn’t look like it had been vacuumed. The hotel didn’t offer to comp a night or anything for this. They had us come back an hour later and to check in and then to tell me my room wasn’t ready yet. The night after we walked back from dinner and there was a bear outside in the parking lot. Most likely will not stay again. Def want a refund

Had problems with check-in on a Monday. Arrived at 3pm, room not available. Returned at 4pm and was told 5 mins available and given key. Went to room and was told by housekeeping 30-40 minutes. Was given another room but each time had to stand in line waiting for others to be served. Had issues in unit with A/C being very loud due to age. Hot water had no temperature control, so I almost scalled myself. Had to walk across property to get ice. Otherwise, room and property in good condition. Be aware that the private beach they advertise is not free access but $5 a person access. Beach area was very nice but a bit of a walk to get to it.

Second time staying here. Great location, friendly staff, can easily walk to most places, ample parking, love the "cabin" feel of the rooms we've stayed in.

The property is in need of repairs. The sliding door going out to patio fell off track and the latch was broken. Room was not serviced once in the 4 nights we stayed. We were 4 staying in room and towels enough for 2. Went to desk more than once to get clean towels and toilet paper. I chose this property as it was within walking distance to beach. However, exorbitant fees were charged to access beach. We, two adults and two children, went to beach after 4 p.m. and were charged $30. Earlier access would have been $50. After the first day, we drove 10 minutes to Nevada Beach, a state beach, and paid $10. That was per car, not person. The hotel propery did have a nice pool and hot tub.

The place was alright, but we had a couple issues. The stoves burner elements were very beat up and crooked, and not even connected. So I had to connect the elements myself to get them to work and then cook on a 30 degree angled surface. When we initially arrived our door was simply left open and unlocked which was weird, and the strike plate’s lower screw was completely out allowing the strike plate to pivot off the top screw. I just hand tightened the screw back in and it was fine. The beach is amazing though, just know it’s only free after 5 PM. Before that it’s 5$. The location was also perfect for south lake. I’d stay again, but they need to put some effort into maintaining the rooms.

I reserved a room with microwave and refrigerator and found no microwave. There were no vending machines and the ice machine area was not safe--loaded with construction materials.
Parking was very limited.

Excellent property with spacious rooms, two hot tubs, a pool and close to shopping, restaurants, and casinos. Guests also get vouchers for discounted rates at the nearby beach.

The location is good. Closer to the lake off of the main drag. Check in was good. The front desk person was very nice. I paid for the room in advance booking through Expedia, however when I checked in I was presented with paperwork stating they were going to charge me an additional $50 for pets even though I paid over $530 for the room and stated it was for one person and two dogs. The room itself was a good size and had a fireplace with chair next to it. There was no wood for the fireplace. The door would not lock properly and if I hadn't had dogs I would feel unsafe. there were also large gaps which let all of the air in and it was unseasonably cold both of the days that I was there, The deadbolt did not work at all. I ended up having to go to the front desk and request that it be fixed the following day. I left the room in order for that to happen 2 1/2 hours later I came back and it had not been done. It was extremely noisy as I had upstairs neighbors that were stomping around until after midnight. There was a concert at the outdoor amphitheater at Harvey’s on night number two, which explained why they had doubled the cost of the room and you could very clearly hear it from the room. There is no housekeeping service unless requested. NO vending machines in the vending machine area. Doing construction on the hotel with no notice at time of booking. Lobby had boxes everywhere. There were construction materials everywhere on the east side. Disappointing getaway.

Room size was nice and location good. Booked in advance. They didn't notify us they were under renovations. Debris everywhere. Lots of noise. We were eating lunch on balcony and were blasted from below with power washer the entire length of balcony. Have tried to reach management and have been ignored.

Pet friendly, patio is beautiful, walkable to a beach.

This was our third time staying at 3 Peaks and this time we brought family and got them their own room. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, nicely appointed in a mountain cabin style. The kitchenette was super handy and well-equipped with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, coffeemaker, refrigerator, everything we needed. Staff was friendly, welcoming and efficient.
We love that this is a pet-friendly resort, one of the primary reasons we choose this hotel over others. The other reason is its convenient location to lovely Lakeside Beach, Stateline casinos, restaurants and stores. After arriving, we walked most places and to go anywhere far we rented Lime e-scooters, which were easily found in many nearby spots.
I do recommend reading the informative sheet about bears that the hotel provides in each room and tells how to react if you see them, as our family members were startled by bears getting into the hotel's trash bins here around 10 PM. However, we understand that the Tahoe area is bear habitat, and we humans are the interlopers in their home so need to be aware.

Room was in walking distance of everything we wanted to do.
