Small, comfortable hotel located easy walking distance to the train station (and by tram to the airport). Very friendly and accommodating staff. We showed up early, and even though our room wouldn't be ready for a few hours, they took our bags so they were in our room when we came back at the normal check-in.time. They also offered to hold our bags after check-out if we wanted to go back into the old city before our departure from the area. The hotel is actually on an upper floor of a building, with a small sign at the front door at street level. There is a half flight of steps that need to be negotiated to get to a small lobby with a very small and quaint elevator (capacity: 2 people with bags, or 4 people who know each other very very well:) It is 4 floors up to the hotel lobby, which is tiny but very neat and clean. Room was reasonably sized, with a comfortable king bed. Bathroom had a nice rainfall type shower, and water temperature and volume were great. Only thing missing was any cups or glasses in the bathroom or elsewhere. AC took a little while to cool the room of, worked well, but kept it comfortable. As is typical in Europe, you have to put your room key in a slot by the door to keep the lights and AC powered up, so they aren't on while you're out. Free WiFi worked fine. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

the manager was extermely friendly and helpful. We needed an extra room for 2 days when we checked in and he was able to accommodate us and when we didn't need it the next day, he was able to accommodate as well. We had to get a taxi to the airport early and he quickly set it up for us. Everything we needed, he was able to help us. Very friendly staff. Location was great, near the train station and all the attractions. We walk to everything. There are so many restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay there again.

Great hotel located just minutes from train station with plenty of nearby dining options. Hotel staff was awesome and allowed us to leave our bags before room was ready and also after checkout to do some more exploring before leaving by train. Great breakfast every morning. Room was comfortable and quiet and spacious. No complaints.

Located near Santa Maria novella, not far from our favourite places in firenze (we visit Firenze often) . Helpful and service minded staff. Nice room. Clean. The only negative thing is that the staff made noise outside our room from 7am. Noise and loud talking. The other negative thing is the breakfast. It was cold when we arrived 9:30. Bread was dry/hard, egg and bacon was cold. It was just like we had leftovers. Anyway, the total impression is good and we may come back later 😊

This property will meet your basic needs and it’s at a good location. The AC did not work well in our room and the shower is extremely small. Breakfast is free but It was not the best. Over all worth what we paid.

Really convenient location. Old property but comfortable bed, nice breakfast and it has a lift. You do have to carry your luggage up to the lift though.

The manager was amazing. When we checked out and turned in the wrong keys, he ran out to us on the way to the train station to give them back to us. We are so appreciative! It’s a great testament to how they take care of their guests. Thank you again!!!

By 7pm the street was very desolate and felt unsafe

Place is near train station and close to historical areas. Bed was very comfortable as well as air conditioning. We stayed for two days and the price was worthy. I feel some huge and dusty furniture could be removed from the hallway. That wouldn’t prevent me to use this place for one night or two.

It's was good hotel and great location.

We were a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids) , and we stayed for 2 nights in Florence. The hotel is very close to the Santa Maria Novella railway station, just across the street (10min walk). So if you don't have a large suitcase, you can reach the hotel from the airport by public transport. The hotel is very close to Mercato Centrale markets and other spots all walkable. The manager also recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner and lunch nearby. Just a word of caution the actual hotel is on the 3rd floor and the building has a small elevator(which was a little humorous). The hotel also provided a good breakfast for an extra price.

This property is conveniently located, just a 5 minute walk from the train station and 10 minute walk from the city center. It has a very modest appearance from the outside but our room was beautiful with a breathtaking view of the Duomo and rooftops. Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast included was plentiful. Would definitely stay here again.
