Reception 24 hours,friendly staff, lovely pool ,good A/C and very good location with access to public transport.

The staff is very very nice and also explains everything you need, always happy to help. The room was nice, Google cast is a very nice addon to the great TV.

Everything went and was as expected. Breakfast was good, basic all you need, but nothing exceptional. AC in the room was a bit loud, but it didn't bother me. The card reader for the car garage wasn't working very well. I had to swipe the card many times before getting a green light. Suggestion: In my opinion there is no need to change the towels every day for a four night stay.

The greeting at reception and the help given were very good. The receptionist helped us find what we needed.

...Unfortunately it is hotel policy to leave no water in the room or anything in the mini-bar..thus if you arrive at the hottest part of the day, in a heatwave..you are expected to leave the sanctuary of the room that you have just achieved to go back down stairs to the cafe to purchase water [at nearly 3 euros] in order to take your heart medication...not amused at all. Will report to the tourist authorities as this is a health and safety issue. Otherwise the hotel is as characterless as you might expect and a long haul from the centre of the city. There is Mercadona very near..so purchase anything you might need before you go...and a very nice cake shop..otherwise you may as well be in the desert.

Comfortable room and average breakfast, ok but nothing special. We had to call the reception 6 times in less than 2 days to open our safe. It clearly had a problem and the reception staff were very unhelpful. Although an engineer came each time the man on reception was quite rude and treated us as if it was our fault. I’m sure the next guests in room 204 are having the same problem. Parking was difficult and the general area is very noisy and run down.

Arrived at the hotel around 10Pm after the address listed was taken us about 1/2 miles away. The included parking (on elevator) was not functioning and I ended up blocking two other cars that were trying to park. I parked on the street and I went to check in. The girl at the desk spent 20 minuets to check in the people in front of us an another 23 minuets for us.... I asked were I can get a bottle of water and she sent me on the street to find a store.... The bar in the hotel closes at 11.45 and no vending machines are available. The AC in the room was broken but at that time all I wanted was to sleep.

Hotel was good, good breakfast food. Only complaint is when you want to cold the room a little, only option is to turn it off. During winter time is always warm, so I suppose during summer time is always cold.!,

Good location, close to good restaurants, shops, buses etc. Walkable to city Centre.

This was a nice business hotel. Everything was clean and comfortable. Right next door is a bar (rincon) that we really liked. However parking is a pain.

Reasonable hotel, a little out of town otherwise fine

We were looking forward to sitting out on the roof terrace but the doors were locked and there was no way of getting out there, which was disappointing. Its just a basic hotel really, there is not much in the area and its a long walk to the centre. Staff were friendly and cleaners worked hard.

We decided for my partners birthday to come to the city and stay for a couple of nights.The booking was quite simple and easy.They even asked if there were any extra details. i passed on the we were coming to celebrate my partners birthday and even gave them his name. When we arrived the receptionist was abrupt and sharp. I understand a language barrier but at least smile and try to look welcoming. We made our way upstairs without a happy birthday or a welcome from the lady at the desk. Upstairs we found a tiered looking room. Basic and plain but a little tiered, worn and dirty around the edges. Not wanting to cause a fuss we settled in. There was 1 shower robe for two people. with a lovely note saying if you are enjoying wearing this you can purchase it to take home, an old, torn, stained dressing gown with threads hanging off it, How lovely. The towels were not much better either. The lady forgot to mention the pool, the breakfast details,the roof terrace. All be it a few broken plastic sun loungers on the roof.In the room there were details about room service. After calling a few times I made my way down as no one was answering only to be told they only serve food between 8pm and 11pm. We ordered take away pizza to the room instead. The new lady at reception did order this for me once i explained that is what the leaflet said to do.We checked out 2 days later, with out even a question for the staff about how was our stay? All they need is staff that care.

I could not fault the hotel on the quality of its rooms and staff. Everyone was very helpful and courteous. My only not of caution would be to read the small print re availability of food and drink, as there is only vending available between breakfast and 8pm and the restaurant has a limited menu. Apart from that, I would certainly recommend the hotel for its proximity to bus services to town and beach.

I love Almeria, The people the place and the climate

This is the 4th time in 5 years that friends and I stayed at the Tryp Indalo and we have had no problems at all. The rooms are spotlessly clean and staff are very friendly.

Never been in a car lift before..an experience...breakfast buffet is very good..rooms first class.

We stayed for one night. We had a room with twin beds, they were like visitors beds, main light shade was not working, TV very old, to top it up I asked if I could get coffee as room service at 6:15 next morning when we were due to leave, I was told that breakfast bar doesn't open till 7, so does room service. since we had to leave the hotel by 7 to catch our flight, we couldn't get any coffee, so it wasn't very accommodating. There was a Coffee machine in the lobby, which I used the day before and twice got coffee with sugar even though I pressed the 0 sugar, lost 2 euros because I can't take sugar with coffee. So overall not a very nice experience.

Excellent hotel. The only drawback was the location, a little out of town and not in the best neighbourhood although nothing really to worry about.

This hotel was all you would expect and maybe more for the price. Clean, modern and comfortable rooms. Reception staff helpful. Breakfast Buffet included with our deal and it was not at all bad. One slight moan was that the underground parking was , I thought ,expensive at 11 euros a night, and creepy going down in the car in the lift...I wouldn't do that again, loads of cars parked outside overnight with seemingly no problem. The underground car park was quite empty.
