Let me say, “You get what you pay for.” The shower (no tub) was the size you see in an old RV camper. The hot water was scolding hot. There was no warm or lukewarm water. It was either freezing cold or scolding hot. The comforter and the blanket under it were soiled on both beds. The pool was NOT open because “someone went to the bathroom in it” the night before. I do NOT recommend staying here unless you truly don’t care and want to save money.

Microwave in the ice room attached to the office almost always open. From about 1030 pm till 9pm ish?? The 2 desk clerks I observed had polar styles one was mostly "by the book' and looking from managements perspective... The other was more personable relating to a guest. A good mix to have on a team working together.

Looks like the motel is 90% occupied by homeless on vauchers . I would never book In there . We have stayed in this motel before but today was dirtier , fully occupied and we had the room above moving beds and furniture at 4:30 am

Not a safe place to stay. Haveing no hot water to shower or bath . Have people banging on doors after midnight screaming and yelling .

We lasted approximately 30 minutes. Was incredibly sketchy. If I had children with me I don’t think it would have been that long. Young man at the front desk was pleasant

This was a short stay. It was ok for the money but I didn’t feel safe and our room smelled like pot all night (not sure if it was from other rooms or from a previous persons stay. Other guests were taking their possessions such as motorcycles and such into their room which just added to my uneasiness. Remote to tv didn’t work and neither did the phone. Called to get a different remote or new batteries and was forgotten about.

The only thing I didn't like was the toxic people next to us that didn't let us sleep and the police showed up, other then that it was ok

The staff was amazing. Coffee was constantly being filled without having to tell the staff. The check in process was smooth. I had issues with the laundry facility not being open, but was refunded my quarters. Staff was great! No issues with them, but the bathroom curtains smelled and the bed sheets smelled.

Nice staff. Too noisy for my liking. The sink and toilet weren’t working properly. We just needed somewhere to sleep and shower on a budget :)

People were fighting in the room next to me at three am, someone's dog next door was barking all night, there was a rooster that woke me up, and the parking lot was not well lit and had people milling about and smoking. Did not feel especially safe, but I appreciated having a clean bed and a hot shower.

Staff is rude and the rooms are always nasty, I see roaches and other bugs like spiders, I pulled back my sheets and there was a spider in them. I had my dog with me and they gave me a problem because he sheds a lot

It’s a low budget motel and you get what you pay for. Decent place to stay for one night.

You guys have bed bugs my husband and Dad where out there for work, they where bitten up bed and to top it of the room had Cockroaches

It was a very smooth check-in. We had no problem with the staffs. The rooms were clean! We only needed a place to sleep for a night and this was a good choice for the price.

My 4 year old twins walked into our room with me to find a naked woman standing in there as they had double booked us

It’s pretty basic, but clean and conveniently located. The bed was comfortable, the TV worked, and the hot water was consistent. There was ice, microwave, concessions, and morning coffee at the office. Also, there’s a good Mexican restaurant across the street, La Cocina de Doña Maggie.

I recently stayed at the Motel 6 in Porterville, CA, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly staff...A THANK YOU, ARIEL, who made me feel right at home. The check-in process was quick and efficient, greatly appreciated after a long day. My room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. HOUSE KEEPERS ARE ON POINT. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were fresh and crisp. One of the standout features of this motel is the location. It is conveniently located near local restaurants AND Shops; it was nice to have everything close to the motel. The amenities of this motel were top-notch. I appreciated the free Wi-Fi and the flat-screen TV in my room. The property also had a refreshing outdoor pool, perfect for lounging and relaxing after exploring. The service at Motel 6 was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay. They were always available to answer any questions or assist with any requests I had. Overall, I highly recommend Motel 6 in Porterville, CA. It exceeded my expectations in every way, and I will definitely be returning for future stays. Thank you to the fantastic staff for making my trip a memorable one. This is definitely a 5-star motel in my book.
