Beautiful building! Wonderful and historic. Lovely furnishings, delicious buffet breakfast, immaculate room with pressed sheets! Very accommodating staff, especially Molly and Randy. Loved the 1770 House. Will definitely return.

Lovely small inn in beautiful settings, traditional but very lovely, clean and cosy, we had amazing dinner in the hotel restaurant, great service, hotel is short stroll to the centre of the village, level mile walk to the beach. Brilliant escape from NYC

Cleaning ladies were not so nice without smile. The shower cap is empty. But receptionists were nice and helpful. Generally speaking it is a lovely place

The 1770 house is absolutely lovely. My room was comfortable, well appointed, and well decorated. The overall inn has wonderful historic charm. Staff were friendly and attentive in helping plan my stay; and offered great local tips. Didn’t have dinner but included breakfast was yummy. Ask for Randi if you don’t have the chance to meet her. She is warm and wonderful!

Very nice staff. We had a beautiful room. Very clean and accommodating. The room had plenty of storage and was well supplied. The continental breakfast was ok. The location is great! Just a short walk into town.

This property is truly a unique and historic East end experience, met with impeccable dining and service. My favorite place to stay in the Hamptons!!

This is hands down the best place to stay in the Hamptons. Great location and the restaurant is top notch gourmet. This was my first stay at the facility and the rooms are sizable and tasteful. I’ll be back….

The entire 1170 House experience was of 5 Star quality from pre stay conversations with Randye through the two day stay.All members of the staff were welcoming and professional giving exceptionally service and suggestions to enhance our stay.The Inn is lovely and spotlessly kept.Both restaurants, the Tavern and main dinning room offer delicious selections, and the wait staff is well trained and congenial!I highly recommend this gem for a relaxing experience.

The perfect escape to recharge. A bed and breakfast with top notch food and cozy accommodations. I went into breakfast thinking it would be a muffin and coffee, but what I was served was a menu of at least 7 different options that were delicious. We ate in the Tavern on night 1 for dinner and I had the prix fixe menu (the same food they serve in the main dining room) and my husband had their famous burger. The service was AMAZING and the food and cocktails were great. Definitely get the Montauk fluke appetizer! The staff was incredibly friendly and you will definitely want to connect with Randy to learn what to do in the area. She is so passionate about The Hamptons and will provide so many ideas on what you can do for your day. The location is fantastic too because if you just want to stroll in the town of East Hampton you are only about 2-3 blocks away. I'll definitely be back
