Upon arriving the receptionist was pleasant. We were given the keys and when we went to check the room, one of the beds was unmade and the floor had trash on it. We reported it and was given another room. Breakfast was good and the server was friendly. On Thursday, one of our keys stopped working. I sent my daughter downstairs to activate the key while I get dress for my event. My daughter came back and said the receptionist told her that I needed to come downstairs and was I there in the room. I stopped in the midst of getting dresses and went downstairs to activate the key. I was then told I needed my ID before the key was activated. I'm like are you serious? I went back to get my ID and when I came back the manager was standing there with her as though I was going to act out of character. I'm too classy for drama. She then proceeded to say it was policy. However, I didn't see that on the form I signed, but it was okay. This same receptionist saw me and my family sitting in the dining area eating breakfast that same day. So apparently did you think we just walked in the facility to eat and stay without pay? I paid to stay just like everyone else to be treated as though we were there illegally. I was disappointed by the actions. But thankfully I was only there for 2 nights. I wouldn't be able to stay any longer. Need I add the air was not working properly, but we survived!

My stay was surprisingly pleasant. The hotel looks very humble, set back from the road, but everything inside is maintained really well: no shabby carpets, no threadbare towels, no rust stains in the bathtub . . . Breakfast was what you would find in most hotels of this sort, except here the place was neat as a pin. The eggs were fluffy and the coffee was good!
The staff is pleasant, friendly adults. Seem to like their jobs.
Next time I go to VIR I plan to stay here.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Was in town for a funeral and hotel was conveniently located near 29/58 interchange and close to all areas I needed to be during the weekend. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was large, clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

we enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. Rooms were perfect and the staff were great. We enjoyed the breakfast also. Glad we chose this hotel.

The beds were hard , i stayed 4 days got charged daily instead at once which caused me to have extra fees and taxes. I booked all at once my total difference from the website book and the actual book was 80.00 and each day had to renew my key the last day we had to clean our own room, request towels , and light bulbs ....

No maid service one day, found blonde hair on pillow case which tells me the pc werent change from the previous guest. Couldnt access the internet with the instructions on the placque tried for 20 min. Tried to call the front desk but the room fone didnt work, they fixed it the next day. Im not that hard to please, but this place has issues!

We were there for the blue ridge rock festival so we were sadly at the hotel much more during our stay than planned, as were the rest of the guests because the hotel was sold out. With a sold out hotel the staff were amazing. The hotel lost power for an hour or so one day but was restored when it was possible. Not a single complaint from room 118

The room was overrun by ants. I was able to change rooms and that room had too many spider's. The jacuzzi tub was not clean. The bed was not comfortable at all. The young lady that greeted us at check in was very pleasant.

So this is really a one-night, get some sleep, keep traveling place. It is very clean and morning coffee was good -- the bed was not very comfortable.
Service was with an attitude. I checked in about 10pm, and I'm not sure the front desk person was designed for hospitality. When I checked out in the morning, I barely got a "thank you." -- Would I stay again? If I'm heading through, then probably.

Room was fine except both the room door and the bathroom door need to be repaired so they shut without having to lift and push and shimmy and shake them.

I stay at Danville VA Best Western serveral times a year for my job. I actually live over an hour away and sometimes I stay to help another shift or I'm just to tired after a long day. Overall it's comfortable and quiet. My only complaint is I wish the breakfast was better and more selection .

The room was fairly decent, it didnt smell like B.O. or cigar smoke and waste water, a little dated, the staff was less than what should be expected, the first young lady stood watching videos on her phone for over thirty seconds as I was directly in front of her less than three feet away before telling me there was no possible way i would be allowed to check in before 3 pm although she did not check the computer to see if the room was ready, O.K. fair enough she probably knew everything from watching Tic Tok videos anyway. At about 1030 pm on my second of several nights when I returned I found that my room key was deactivated and was told that it must have been because I have a cellphone, everyone else has a cellphone and their keys work just ask Tic Tok lady. Not one time after meeting the Tic Tok lady was anyone visable at the front desk without ringing the help bell and several times they were moved so you couldnt ring them. This was probably a nice place once but it's only going to get worse. Also the bed felt like two box springs and no mattress but what are you gonna do. Would not recommend !!!
