This is a unique property that captures the spirit of Galena. It is an easy walk to the Galena downtown area. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and the attention to detail for their guests is evident. I will definitely be returning!

The owners were extremely accommodating and very helpful explaining things to do and see in Galena. Highly recommend. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was to die for. We had a great time.

Attentive Service, great food. Friendly staff welcomed us energetically though we were 15 minutes early. The room had a divider door from the bedroom for privacy if someone were to rise early they would not disturb anyone. Wine and tasty snacks were served in the afternoon, cookies, a complete and full breakfast, plenty of coffee. We lacked nothing.

Awesome B & B. The breakfast come with and is gourmet. Fantastic staff. Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing, pleasant stay!

Mark, Like and Elaine were fantastic hosts! Elaine's breakfasts were incredible and we really liked that there was coffee, tea, water, etc. in the dining room all day. The room was decorated nicely and the bed was very comfy. I'll start the rest by saying this was our first B&B so maybe the things we didn't like as much are just normal...Last but not least, the parking option was not great - it was a municipal lot across the street and driver's were not observing the speed limit on that road. If nothing else, there should be a crossing light for patrons of this lot.The walls were really thin - we could hear everything going on outside with loud traffic, and everything that was taking place in the rooms next to us (EVERYTHING). The bathroom door would not close all the way and did not have a lock (I like to leave some parts of my bathroom time to my husband's imagination and vice versa), so that was uncomfortable. Although there was coffee in the dining room, I wish there would have been coffee in the room - it was inconvenient to throw clothes on and go downstairs to get coffee since I didn't want to go down to the dining room in my PJs.

The staff, the gourmet breakfast, Happy hour the location all just added to the most amazing weekend for my Husbands and I as we celebrated our 20 years of marriage. Beautiful Bed & Breakfast. Loved all the History that came with it. We stayed in the Aimee room. It was perfect. The breakfast was top notch...we loved the quiche. We stayed for our 25 year anniversary and had a nice note and brownies waiting for us upon Check in. We also did a couples massage right there at the B & B, it was so nice and relaxing. We walked to Main St. for the Halloween parade. I would stay again and I’ll definitely let my friends know about this perfect getaway.

Our stay was fabulous! Very comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The food was fabulous and Mark, Luke, and Elaine were so very kind. We would absolutely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our cozy stay at Farmer's Guest House. We were warmly greeted by the inn keepers and made to feel at home. The breakfast was amazing and the WineTime with cheese crackers was a classy touch. We will definitely be back!! he location is great and a few minute walk to downtown Galena.

Unique atmosphere and delicious food. Loved the common areas and interaction with other guests at wine time. Staff was pleasant and helpful but didn’t realize they would be also be new to the area.

This place is amazing. It’s within walking distance to the city center which has restaurants, bars, antique stores and fun! The breakfast Susan made was incredible, wine time in the evening was super nice. Such hospitable people, were going back very soon!

Don and Sue (owners) were extremely gracious, helpful and friendly. Our stay couldn't have been any better. Breakfast was artfully crafted, and bountiful. Wine and snacks before dinner were great. The decorating was very tasteful and I loved that something new always caught my eye even on day 2. Location was a short walk from the downtown area. We stayed in the Charlotte room, giving us a separate sitting area and a private entrance. The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace was such a nice touch on the cool evenings. Loved, loved, loved everything about this place

Location was fine but road was a bit busy Nice and close to town Breakfast was amazing

It was wonderful! Clean. Comfortable. Amazing breakfasts! Liked getting to meet other guests at wine time. Susan and Don were great at giving suggestions and answering questions about the area and so fun to talk to. And their daughters were just as good at playing hostess when they weren’t there. I will for sure stay there again and recommend it to others.

I would not recommend. Very busy street noisy area. Service was poor. No parking needed to cross busy street to get to hotel.

Our first bed and breakfast experience and it was the best. The owners go out of their way to make your stay amazing. The excellent breakfasts, the wine time at 5, being able to walk to town, the cleaniness of the room, the decor, cookies and beverages 24 hours and so much more.

Quiet location right off Main Street but easy to walk to. Comfortable room, very clean. Innkeepers are super friendly. Breakfast was amazing both days. Would definitely stay again!

This was our first time ever staying at a bed and breakfast. They made our first experience one to remember. We will definitely be back to the farmers guest house. We loved it!!

Very Nice room, not tiny like some B&B's.Tasteful and pretty decore. Not beat up like some other B&B's.Awesome atmosphere,homey and roomy gathering space and breakfast area. Very nice & friendly owners and staff. Also wonderful food and they have wine time in the afternoon that was very enjoyable! We will definitely be back.
