Hotel was run down and dirty also in very run down area needed to only stay 2 nights until able to re book at grand Hyatt nusadua

Wrong room for the first night
Several stray cats walk around the property including the meals area and pool
Area and jump on tables to eat food
And the staff don’t particularly care
If you don’t like cats you don’t want to stay here and for this reason I will not be back

Overall pretty good stay, we thought the staff were very friendly & helpful. The property was a little run down and not overly clean. The pool was in pretty poor condition, water not very clean. The breakfast options were average but we like to try other places anyway. The property was also a bit noisy when we got our downstairs neighbours. Other than that it was pretty quiet around the pool etc. easily walkable for lots of choice of restaurants & bars. Pretty much getting what you pay for 😊

Lovely setting and location for a relaxing break, with everything we needed. Pool was great. Staff were lovely and there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

Vila Lumbung is tucked away from the busy streets of Seminyak. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great place for long term stays and groups.
I stayed in a three bedroom Villa with a kitchenette, dining and living room. The bedroom are on three different floors with three bathrooms. My room was spacious and comfortable. I’d say the downsides were that one of the toilets was running and leaking and it’s on the older side.
All in all the grounds and Balinese architecture is wonderful.

Very nice boutique hotel with super friendly staff. Decent bar and restaurant and great for hanging out at the pool. Nice Balinese atmosphere. Will go here again if I’m in Bali.

Loved our stay here and will be back again for sure. Balinese roof balcony room was stunning - lots of room, bed very comfortable and gorgeous gardens to view made it so lovely. Swim up bar and pool area so good we didn’t want to leave this place. Quiet back from the street. Spa massage was nice too

The property is tired with work required to the exterior.The gardens were beautiful but more lighting needed around walkways at night The rooms were comfortable and clean enough , breakfast was basic . Staff were wonderful & very helpful . Good position to walk to restaurants & for shopping.

The grounds of the villa and gardens are lovely, the staff were all great, always helpful and super friendly.
The room was not what was advertised on the site. But was still fine.
Pool was great, but there was quite a few broken tiles in some areas of the upper pool and I cut my foot quite badly on one of them.
We had a great stay for the most part though.

Old hotel that asks for love and care. Strayed for 1 night so manageable but wouldn’t recommend for a longer stay.

Great location and staff. Rooms were huge though didn’t like the shower unit as you have to climb into the bathtub which is at a height, not recommended for senior citizens. However breakfast was good, the property is neat and clean and has a good swimming pool. The best thing about the property is you get a good selection of dining and party places around such as Merah Putin, NOAA and Shi Shi. There’s a lovely cafe serving great coffee and donuts just around the corner too.

We loved the Villa room, however The bedsheets were stained. And the room was just not cleaned properly.
The staff weren’t attentive or overly friendly. During breakfast you had to approach the staff.. In the morning Plates beer bottles and glasses were still left around the pool area. When at the pool we had to go to order drinks and food. If the staff had asked we would have ordered more food and drinks. On checkout a senior staff member was saying farewell to another guest thanking him for his stay and when he passed us and felt obliged so he thanked us for staying aswell.

Really good and affordable place to stay! We travelled as a couple and stayed for only 3 nights, wished our holiday was longer! Bedroom was spacious, walking distance to all the plethora of eateries and spa places in Seminyak, so we didn't even need to order an online driver. If they invest in a lift that would be awesome, otherwise if you don't mind lugging your suitcase to the 3rd storey building then that's fine. Some structures look a outdated too but not dealbreakers.

The service and staff was good, but the cleaning was not satisfying. Dirty sheets and the room wasn’t clean. We asked for new sheets which they provided but the new sheets were old and spotted as well.

The Vila Lumbung is a great hotel, it's located down a drive away from the hustle and bustle of the main street which ensures that it is very quiet and peaceful. The staff are excellent, so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The pool is warm and I loved the swim up pool bar. Drinks and food are very reasonable. The rooms are spacious and well maintained and the very comfortable. I would have no reservations about recommending this hotel.

We have stayed at Vila Lumbung in the past but it has gone down hill significantly. The bathroom was disgusting and the sheets had stains. The pool was so deep I could barely keep my head above water, preventing me from being able to hold my 6month old in the pool. Overall a really bad experience. Checked out early.

Hotel is good value for the price. Rooms are a bit older and dated and the lighting is very white and not very warm but space is good. Staff were very friendly and helpful.The breakfast was not worth the 100,000 IDR as food and selection was limited.
