Stayed night of England Slovakia euro 2024 plus one further night
Only complaint was that the drink prices were Raised 2 euros on day of game even for residents, above advertised prices
This is blatant profiteering,as residents should have been charged prices as advertised on price boards

Literally on grounds of VELTINS-Arena arena. Made going to Euro game just an unreal experience to just be at the hotel. Really also pretty modern and great bar/ restaurant, service, rooms good- would definitely come back if going to a game.

The front desk receptionist was not knowledgeable, I asked if there were any bottle waters in the room, the receptionist said no. So we purchased multiple bottles of water, whenwe got to the room, there was a complimentary bottle.

No cleaning at the room during the stay, despite I asked for it. But it was clean when I arrived. No service to to Covid. Could have been nice to know before booking.

One of the worst sleeps I had in my life time. Those Mattresses are like a youth hotel thin spring mattresses where you able to feel the spring in all parts of the body. The stuff try to be helpful and switch the room, however same condition on the other room. The Hotel is clean and for this town the best.

The beds are very firm, so keep that in mind if you prefer softer beds. It prevented me from getting good sleep.
Their laundry service was a day late in returning my clothes and I received no discount or even an apology. If that was my last day at the hotel I would have lost my clothing.

A very nice hotel, very comfortable bed in fact one of the best I’ve stayed in. The hotel was clean and the food was very nice. Breakfast had lots of options.

I frequently travel from New York City to Gelsenkirchen, to visit family. This hotel did not exist when I grew up in this city, and what a great addition it is. Simply no other hotel in Gelsenkirchen compares in terms of quality and comfort of rooms, cleanliness, service, and really interesting location, next to the arena where Bundesliga club Schalke practices and plays. Wonderful value!

very pleasant hotel in a beautiful area, the breakfast is excellent and a well appointed gym with views over the football training grounds,the hotel is one of the quietest I’ve stayed in anywhere and I’ve stayed in plenty,all the staff are superb very helpful and speak English if needed,the views are wonderful for such a flat area especially in autumn when we visited, all in all a very good hotel and one of the best 4 star hotels I’ve stayed in when in Germany if my wife liked it then it’s a must to stay in and she loved it ,I would throughly recommend this hotel

Great location in terms to close to the football stadium. I would recommend the hotel.Good restaurant for evening and breakfast, room was suffice and there was a gym on the top floor.

The only reason I've stayed here is rehabilitation in Medicos. In this way it is very comfortably to live so close to Clinic. But in details, the food is awful, breakfast, lunch, dinner, buffet are really bad. Fruits on breakfast are always with gas, not fresh but rotten. The service is also very annoying, cleaning service is the worst I've ever seen. They only make your bed, change towels, clean the bin, and don't touching anything more. We had really dirty table for 3 days!!! The hotel is bad-conditioned. It's the shame to have such a hotel in the chain with the name. Only reception service was good and helpful.
