We stayed just one night as a stopover on our way to Tahoe. We have stayed here before and were happy with that night. This stay was very relaxing and will probably stay again.

Nothing spectacular, budget motel

Large dead black on bathroom floor day of arrival and still there upon check out three days later. Whole room was dilapidated, chipped plaster, black mold in bathroom. Was hoping a nearby fire caused evacuation. Will not return and am sharing with friends living in Placerville so they make sure their friends and family do not book there.

I base my ratings on the expectations I would have for a stay at this price range. The property was totally accessible, the staff was super-friendly, smiling, and cheerful. The shower pressure was AMAZING and the A/C had the ability to freeze me out. The room was equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker and ice and a vending machine were a short distance away. 👍 I would definitely stay at this property again.

property is a bit old, but in general clean. suited my needs just fine for a one night stay.

Everything was great in town for work

The clerk that welcomed us was so sweet, this is a great place for the price. It’s outdated but surprisingly very clean. AC worked great for our 100 degree day. Also had a decent variety of snacks and drinks in the vending machine. We would stay here again

Nice and quiet but could use a little more attention to maintenance detail. Over all would stay again.

Inn was basic and clean. Room did need minor maintenance repairs with plaster on bathroom door and wall, no vanity light cover (light bulbs were very bright without a cover!) and no towel bar with vanity sink....only holes where one was! Would be nice to have somewhere to hang face and hand towel. Price was very reasonable for a one night stay,,,just had a lot of road noise tho since all rooms faced the street. Was great location to stay over so that we could visit quaint Hang Town!

The property has a very good location. Staff has been very accommodating..The amenities are simple but is exactly what I need.I guess they need to keep an an eye to their housekeeper. Looks like they clean only the visible parts but not check behind the drawers and cabinets. Trash has fallen behind and who knows how long it’s been there. If I had not complained on the light bulb .. I would not know. The front desk came to replace the bulb but found out that only a slight trouble shooting is needed. I hope they wash the curtains on a regular basis. It looks dusty. The quilt on the bed is very colorful. I find it quite odd. Maybe a one color quilt will do much better and pls carpet is ok especially during the cold months . But not sure how often these are being washed. There has been some dark black areas. For sure they vacuum it every day or every after occupancy but that’s not enough.

Mediocre property. Old. Torn bedspread. Served our purpose.

Room was clean, bath clean, bed okay. Did find an unwanted spider climbing around the ceiling.

The lady who checked us in was so lovely, and friendly, very welcoming making checking in a pleasure Room nice and clean a little old fashioned maybe but to me cleanliness and safety are way more important. Good location on the outskirts , but close enough to amenities. Overall a great stay.

The price was right

As I told Sharon (?) at the desk, everything went well except for finding a centipede in the bathroom and the a/c unit looked like it had seen better days. Sharon was very nice, super happy. Oh, and one of the light fixtures was not working in unit 123.

Very quiet. A little older but an absolute value for what I paid. .

You get what you pay for. It was a decent place, and very inexpensive. The amenities listed for this hotel included a continental breakfast - this was false. The check in lady was very friendly and helpful. I think the people running the hotel live onsite. I was greeted one morning by a woman in a robe and towel hair wrap. There was a burn hole in the comforter, the room smelled musty, and the ice machine was not producing. Some of the clientele was a little sketchy, but it was quiet. I wouldn't choose this property for a family vacation, but as a cheap night passing through, it served its purpose.

I was unable to get to the internet

Just needed a place to hang my hat for the night. A bit away from restaurants but near enough. Clean sheets and better than average shower. Vey good value.

Placerville in general is old and a little rundown. That's not the inns fault

The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. I appreciated her checking me in early.

Quiet motel at end of town. Quick and friendly check in, quiet surroundings. Clean room and all fixtures working. Internet worked well.

The staff was really friendly and it was a comfortable place to stay

Great all around place close enough to Pollock Pines and super close to Old Placerville definitely be back

Hotel canceled my booking and Expedia refused to refund my charge.

Restaurant is close by

Other than the dirty bathroom and the very filthy walls and carpet, the idiots in the room above me were deliberatly stomping on floor. Then after I tell them to knock it off, they did it even harder. This went on for about 3 hours, and again on the second night. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.

Convenient location. Everything is old except Dish TV. Few outlets for recharging devices. Some were too loose to use and chargers fell out of the socket. Room was very cold. Thermostat did not appear to be connected to anything. Tiny bathroom.

They very hot water which I greatly appreciated. Internet was average. The person that checked me in was super nice. There isn't many outlets in the room so I had to pull the night stand away from the wall to use my computer. It looked like it hadn't been cleared in years. That was unfortunate I would have liked my review to be all positive.

Clean and comfortable. Check-in staff (Sharon) was very, very friendly and a pleasure to work with.

Website mentioned "continental breakfast" included. Staff seem offended that I even asked the question about breakfast
