We had a wonderful stay at Petit Palace Boqueria. The staff was incredibly helpful with travel tips, directions, reservations, etc. The location was perfect for walking, train and bus connections. The physical hotel is a pretty building with adequate sized rooms and enough amenities.There is a good attempt made to keep this a “green” establishment.However, the hotel is in need of an overhaul. It needs a good paint job,new drapes, etc. The cleaning staff could do a better job of straightening up the rooms. That’s all it would take to make it a perfect place to stay while visiting Barcelona l.

Excellent location, friendly staff & service. Not all rooms should be released for occupancy. After a long wait for our room, well past checkin time, we received a completely unacceptable tiny room for a long stay. Closet in accessible because the door was blocked by the bed. Dirty bathroom with broken faucet, shower door that didn’t close and faulty toilet. Excessively hot room with non-functioning AC in the middle of summer. And extreme street level noise from on-going construction. After a bit of back and forth with FD and long wait time we were checked into a nice room. We lost half a day due to all the waiting an room changes. No service was offered to help move our luggage in the process. A bit disappointing but otherwise nice stay.

We liked the location, our room, the little courtyard where we hung out in the evenings. The staff was helpful. Breakfast didnt have a ton of choices but we were able to pick something always. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

The first room (main building room 114) I was in was very nice with all new fittings and a walk in shower but the balcony door didn’t close properly and I could hear noise outside and it difficult to sleep in (hot/AC). They move be to the out building past the garden which is not in good condition. The bath towel rail was hanging off, the shower head came off when turned on and the bath stopper came out. It’s in need of tic. The AC worked better in this room and I could sleep well until I got woken up by lots of banging from the other apartments and people entering the outbuilding. It has a nice garden and terrace. I did have to ask a few times for the room to be cleaned and all toiletries weren’t provided even though I asked a few times for some. The staff were friendly. If you want to stay near La Ramblas it’s ok but I wouldn’t book again and would recommend Gràcia, Born or L'Eixample. Barcelona is quite walkable and the metro is easy, AC’d and quick to use. I paid about €150/night in July booking 3 weeks prior

Staff were eager to help with loaning a travel adapter or finding vegetarian restaurants. Hotel was very comfortable and convenient.

The hotel is situated in the heart of the city. Literally 1 minute walk to Las Ramblas in one direction and in the other are lots of lanes with restaurants and quirky shops. So much to see.

I would like to thank Alexis for being AMAZING at providing the best Customer experience. He is simply the best. The Italian girl at the front desk has an attitude and is rude. You can tell she hates her job. Not a good look. You need everyone at the front desk to provide guest experiences like Alexis!!!

The room has noisy from ceiling, hear water sound all nigh long? Not recommended

Most if the staff was very nice, however, 3 days in a row I requested that they replace the broken blow dryer and provide a couple more hand towels and was acknowledged but nothing was done. When i finally got upset, they simply reached behind the front desk counter for a replacement blow dryer. Loved being righ at La Rambla but patio view was piles of trash. Room was very basic and the bunk bed mattresses were way to hard.

Great location, lovely building. Very quiet. Enjoyed the breakfast. The room was large enough to accommodate our group of 3.

You should offer this hotel always as a first choice the closest to La Rambla which comes to live at night. The nearby metro stations and the staff made our stay delightful

Great accomadative staff! They were very helpful. Stored all 7 of our bags so we could go explore the city. Room was very nice and clean. Hotel area is extremely busy and crowded with tourists. You have to be on alert and mindful of pickpockets.

Outdated property right in the heart of a very busy tourist area. If you are looking for a comfort, and rest, this is not the place to be.

This hotel is in a great location in Barcelona, just off La Rambla. It is within walking distance of La Boquiera Mercat and Casa Botello, easy access to the metro to go to Sagrada Familia and the beach is not too far either. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful, they were able to book a taxi for me to take me to the train station which arrived on time and made my onward trip very easy. My room was very spacious and comfortable.

Great location just steps away from the Liceu Metro stop in the heart of La Rambla. Tons of food/drink options within a minute or two walk. Checked out bikes for a few hours (no cost) although the first one was not functioning properly so needed maintenance. Also, the staff working the front desk was not attentive to us waiting to check out the bikes until another member eventually showed up (he WAS very nice and helpful) but the first guy did not make us a priority. That was my only issue. Oh, as is typical in Europe, the shower curtain did not contain the water so we had to mop up whenever we used the shower.

This was our first time to Barcelona and this hotel was PERFECT. The staff stored our luggage since we arrived early. They spoke great English. The hotel was unique. It was very clean and new. We had a quad room (queen a bunk bed) which was great for us and our teens. It is in a very great area with shopping and restaurants. Right off La Ramblas. Right in the action but was very safe and quiet too. It was perfect. Highly recommend.

Average hotel. Could use a renovation. Our room was musty and the electronic room lock barely worked. Many other options in the area to stay
