To be honest pictures are misleading. We were quite disappointed in the Menu of the place - very expensive for not much substance. The surrounding area is beautiful. Everything was otherwise good, appliances are outdated and you could see this during the breakfast + in the rooms (especially bathrooms). Highlight for us was the staff who was very lovely and accommodating. It is expensive when you think about what you receive.

We stayed at manor and experience was top notch. The spa side wasn’t that impressive but the service was excellent and it served its place. All and all very positive trip.

The bistro downstairs has wonderful food, the views from the lake in front of the hotel stunning and of course the main mansion has a wonderful historic nature to it, (also where you have breakfast in the mornings!) What I struggled to comprehend having travelled a lot, is them trying to charge you a few euros for your slippers (which of course you’ll wear to the spa included in the stay). Very bizarre indeed!Staff at reception seemed nice and the bistro staff even more wonderful and friendly! I would say overall a nice play to stay for one or two nights maximum, but for the price being charged, it does fall short for value.

We enjoyed our stay in here, however, there was no soundproofing at all in the spa hotel. The breakfast was good as always, so was the spa area. The water pressure in the shower in the spa could have been better.

Our room was okay for its value, nice and tidy. Nothing luxury, but nothing disgusting. Basic breakfast, nice spa. We really loved the surroundings.

Room at main building. Quite small but confy. Clean. Service and Dinner excellent. Spa worth to visit. Limitation to stay at spa due to Covid, which is currently absolutely OK.

It was ok but the spa side is not worth the price you pay, the side of the actual hotel is great but the spa building is old and looks quite cheap, really not worth the money.

The hotel rooms are very average for the price they are charging. It was not mentioned anywhere that the room is in a separate building not the main advertised mansion. We were charged 40 eur for extra bed for the kid while on the site it shows that the room can accommodate 2 adults and a kid. Breakfast room was so full of people that we had to queue for the table and to get food.

Very nice stay at this fantastic spa. Perfect service, great spa facilities. Restaurant serves excellent food.

Haikko is a fantastic milieu with history. A lot of attention to detail in the manor house especially and the food there was great too. My superior room was very comfortable. Definitely I will stay here again.

Property is over-priced for what is provided. Room had no toiletries, no coffee maker, no ice bucket, and was small. No control in room for temperature. No sprinkler system. Main restaurant had few selections and was expensive. Smaller restaurant had even less choices. 18 euro for a hamburger. When we asked for ice, the reply was for what?, When we said for drinks, they wanted to know if we brought stuff in or purchased it at hotel. No ice unless purchased at hotel. Spa was decent enough. Breakfast was very good.

Beautiful position with lovely gardens running down to the estuary. arrived late by boat and moored at the hotel jetty. Long walk with cases to the reception. Had an excellent dinner on the terrace. Room was in the Conference Centre, but was of a very satisfactory standard. Did not like the fact that everything had a price. Bottled water in the bedroom (temp was c28C), a round of frisbee golf E5 etc. Friends who brought us by boat and joined us for dinner were told that it would cost E 39.00 each just to moor at the jetty and sleep on their own boat!

The site advertising is very deceptive. Most of the accommodation is at a nearby congress centre.

This was not The Manor house stay we expected. This is an average conference hotel at best. Rooms are small, bed was low quality, overall attention to detail was just not there. Book for a corporate conference, avoid if travelling on a personal vacation. The grounds are impression when the weather is fine.

We stayed here for three nights to coincide with a visit to our family who live nearby. The hotel is beautifully located on the coast within a 10 minute drive of Porvoo (and 40 minutes from the Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport). The hotel was busier during the week with a lot of business customers and at the weekend this changed to tourists (particularly bikers when we were there). Our room was air-conditioned and very comfortable with a sea view. The breakfast was buffet style, with a range of beautiful freshly baked bread. The breakfast room become quite busy and felt a little cramped at busy periods, so an early breakfast is advisable. The swimming pool/spa complex is very good, again get there early! Breakfast and pool opening times were later on the Sunday, which made everything much busier as people wanted to get on with their day.
