Enjoyed stay this hotel. Front desk staff were very accommodating when booking another night. Completely hassle free. The room waa comfortable. We disliked that the breakfast was an extra charge but for the cost there was a good portion. The pool water was cold but that didnt stop my son.

The actual hotel was great. We had a mini fridge with a broken leg and the front of the property smelled like animal spray/urine. Overall though our stay was great and comfortable, staff was kind and rooms were clean.

I reserved a King bed room for my husband and myself. Initially they put us in a 2 queen bed room. When I showed them what the reservation was for, they said they were full for the night and could not move us. About 45 minutes later, they were able to move us to a king bed room. They were very nice about the whole situation but blamed the “third party company” that made the reservation. Other than this situation, the room was great and we had a good stay.

When we arrived we were told the hotel had no power all night. We were not able to check in. We had to find another hotel. Assistant manager said we will be reimbursed for what we paid. Hope that will be the case.

We were in town to visit VT and the hotel was great. Close to campus and easy to find. The staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. The front desk and even the staff at the restaurant were all wonderful. Will definitely stay there again if we are in town.

Love the location of this Courtyard by Marriott. Close proximity to Virginia Tech without being in the middle of all of the "craziness" that comes with a college campus the size of VT. Staff is always nice and helpful. Lobby area is beautiful. Beds (and pillows) are comfy. This is always our go-to hotel when visiting Blacksburg - we were happy that it wasn't sold out when we went to make a reservation!

For the most part the hotel was what you expect from a Courtyard Marriot. The indoor pool was disappointing and maybe even unsafe. The chemical odors in the room was overwhelming and gag-worthy. There was a film on the pool water. It was more than just chlorine. It was as if the deck was washed then rinsed into the pool

It was a nice property. The rooms were a bit dated, but more than fine. The King room plenty large. The lobby was large, new and nice. Staff friendly.
We also used the Tesla charging stations - a great convenience in Blacksburg which is a charger desert. They were free and near the front door. There are two stations, which each have two cables, one Tesla and one standard. They charged at 41 miles per hour.

The check in was friendly and fast .They were all so friendly we were staying because my husband had to have surgery the next morning at 5:00 am .Everything was nice and clean and staff was lovely.
