Very clean and friendly staff

Close to the campus and safe and clean with outstanding customer service!! Only blocks from hotels that are MUCH more expensive. This hotel is the best deal in town!

Entire trip was for daughter's athletic event and chose this hotell for pool/hot-tub for recovery...(not to mention wife's bad back, after 8 hour drive to Boise). Arrived to find it empty and staff dismissive...said Marriott closing all hot-tubs. Guess we wont' be staying at any Marriott's, ever again.

This is a great location near Boise State and downtown Boise. The staff is very friendly and helpful and my room was beautiful and well-appointed.

The front desk was wonderful especially the female that worked in the evenings. Big smile and very polite and welcoming. I will be using this hotel for all future business trips in this area going forward.

The building is old the lights are dim the elevator is all the way at one end the door on the side did not work. It’s just an old building and needs some updating

Lampshades had make up stains .. room had a curry scent to it and no housekeeping our entire stay

A go to for us when we are in Boise. Clean rooms, happy employees and location is hard to beat. Close enough to downtown to walk or scooter and so close to so many touristy venues like the zoo and art museum. Highly recommend

Room I booked, the air didnt work in the bedroom. That was diappointing. They did upgrade us to a bigger room because of that flaw. The air is super finicky in the room. There also was one night there was no parking because their lot was full. The weekend manager was very accomadating and friendly.

Great Breakfast, front desk courtesy, room was clean except for maid forgot to empty trash cans - we did not complain as they were generous and gave us a 2pm check out time..

We book a stay to spend time with family in the area. The staff greeted us promptly and was very friendly. The room was everything promised. I loved how comfortable the bed and pillows were. It made for a good night sleep. The only thing I could complain about was the breakfast. They had the usual offerings which was okay but the bagels weren’t split with no knife or anything to split it. The fruit was all over ripe and old and should have been thrown out. Other than that everything was perfect.

Overall, the stay was good. The room was a bit worn, especially in the bathroom. Obviously water damage and the toilet bowl was not clean under the rim. The bed was comfy and the amenities were good. I was disappointed that fresh made oatmeal was not part of the breakfast offerings as that is my travel staple. I don't like packets. The one issue that was annoying is that I returned to the hotel late Saturday night after the front doors were locked. My card key did not work and luckily someone else was coming in at the same time. Went up to my room and the key didn't work on my door either. I had to go back downstairs and no one was at the desk and I had to call the number for assistance. The man that helped was not friendly. He came from somewhere else in the hotel and when I said that my key didn't work, he asked if I had extended by stay and I said no, I was here for 2 nights. He just reset the key and gave it back without a word. The only thing I can think is that since I was checking out the next morning, my key was deactivated at midnight? It was very annoying to say the least.

The rooms were large and had plenty of drawers so we could fully unpack. The extra-large closet and storage area were a plus. The location was very quiet, even though adjacent to Boise State, and there were several restaurants within walking distance.

The staff was super friendly, and our room was clean and comfy. We were greeted promptly, and everyone went out of their way to make sure our needs were met.

The TownePlace Suites was perfect for the price. We got to bring our dog and she loved it too. The complimentary hot breakfast was pretty good too! Downtown is a scooter ride or walk away which made it easy to get where we were going My only complaint was the noise - the rooms are definitely not sound proof at night. I think we stayed on a busy weekend - so not the hotel's fault just something to be aware of.
