The property didn’t match up to the online description. The room we thought had three beds was not in a room but in a loft space which forced everyone to go to bed early as the room with all the beds was a space for kids to sleep. Even if we wanted to use a bed in a different room, the door wouldn’t shut properly. Besides that frustration, every surface of the property was either cracked, chipped, scuffed, torn, broken, or just in need of replacement. Additionally there was what appeared to be a clean towel that was wet and bugs came out when we went to use it. The worst part was the smell! It was a strong sewage smell that never dissipated throughout our stay. When we told registration about our experience no one was overly concerned. Lastly, the distance from this property to the main grounds of the resort was a 5-10min drive depending on traffic so we barely could enjoy the amenities. I would NOT recommend this property especially given that we spent well over $600 a night to stay in a stinky, dilapidated place for vacation!

Great spa exsperience for young or more seasoned in life. Pools, exercise, spa, shopping, coffee onsite, the Italian gardens restraunt onsite was awmazing. Best Italian ever. Id go there before ever trying olive garden, fresh herbs grown on the back patio. Swim in 1 or all 3 pools. Pool slides at 2 pools.

Great place for our group friend/family get together. Lots for the kids to do at the lake, we used the gym, and had a big group at the breakfast buffet which was great. Rooms were comfy and clean. We were in a cabin type room with a kitchen and it definitely could have used some more practical utensils and items (no spatula, no oven mitts, sponge) but that was the only inconvenience. Loved our stay.

Beautiful settings for my nieces wedding! Everything was wonderful except...the staff are really serious about their 4:30 pm check in time. NO consideration for an early check in for a 5 pm wedding even though my brother spent thousands of dollars on venue, drinks, dinner and rooms! They did direct me to bathrooms to get ready in. I finally took my bags to my room around midnight...after the celebration.

Grandview lodge is a wonderful place to stay. It’s more expensive than the properties next to it, however it offered a lot more amenities and options.

Everything went smoothly from checkin to checkout! We enjoyed several restaurants and all the servers and hostesses were so friendly and accommodating! Only glitch was the “boat ride” - all the times were filled up the day we got there - we couldn’t sign up for the next day til the day of & by the time we got there the whole day was filled up! We did get a boat ride the day of departure but had to go sign up in person at 7:30 am. The grounds are beautiful & well kept! Beautiful area!

It was such a wonderful place that I’m not sure I want to tell anyone about it. It was fun being around all the young families and watching the kids have such a good time. Sitting by the lake was one of the most relaxing things I’ve done in a while and there’s a Chocolate Ox less than 50 yards away!

Only complaint was north hotels shower doesn’t have enough shelves for your products while in the shower. Tv is not a smart tv and you cannot stream Netflix etc. No balcony on 2nd floor of north hotel. Mini fridge could be bigger. Over all all amenities were amazing. Location amazing. Restaurants were amazing we ate at the Italian restaurant and northwood pub. Everyone who worked at the resort was extremely friendly.

A family wedding was planned at Grand View Lodge. Everything was perfect. Lovely room, good food and the chapel was beautiful. The Heritage Room for reception was light due to windows in the ceiling. All in all it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend it.

Communication between staff/buildings could use improvement especially with regards to events on campus.
Food quality was ok, could use improvement. Only one garbage in room, in bathroom. Ordered takeout pizza, no paper plates or utinsels provided and none in room.
Still a pretty cool place with history. Guys enjoyed golfing on mini holes for fun.

Overall, we had a great stay. Everyone was very friendly, the food at the bar was amazing, being able to text the front desk with questions/for check out was so cool. We stayed in the Main Lodge during off season during the week so there wasn't really anything to do. most things were closed. I wasn't anticipating that. I wish it had been more clear on the website. We had neighbors check in midtrip and wow the walls were thin. Heard them loud and clear at 5am. Room wasn't at all what I was expecting, but I guess I was looking at something else online. It did have flat screen, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker though, which was so nice Overall, it was a nice stay. Spa was fantastic.

Everything was great. Besides Grace from Cru. She was extremely rude to me and my husband. Ine person with horrible people skills can really make a business look bad.

Went here for a weekend getaway and loved the grounds! Food is definitely expensive on site but there are close by driving options. Staff was very friendly and having the shuttle for transportation on the grounds was great. Will be back!

In a king room for two people there should be two chairs for guests to sit in. The bed was very high from the floor so it wasnt the best place to sit.
A makeup mirror or another mirror in the room would be nice for someone to put on makeup

Vey quiet and clean. Could use some updating on a few areas of the room. Over all very satisfied. One thing that bothered me was that the outside overhead lights were on 24/7, I am very sensitive to light and it made it hard for me to fall asleep and stay asleep. Some blackout curtains would have fixed this issue.

Great place with a great piece of land. Loved the pool and the outdoor pods for dining. The bartender and our server Gary made it all come together for dinner.

We had the most amazing and relaxing experience at Grandview Lodge. We stayed in the Main Property, the bed was very comfy and the room had everything we needed. Their breakfast has so many gluten free options which was very important to me and so do all of their restaurants. Their spa was breathtaking and they were so accommodating with my pregnancy, they took such good care of us, we left so happy and relaxed. Their gym was perfect and had everything we needed. We couldn't be happier with our little getaway and already look forward to coming back in the future. I cannot say enough good things about Grandview Lodge!
