In case you're looking for a calm oasis to replenish your senses, this is probably not the place for you. I went to Sankt Jörgen to celebrate an anniversary and the first thing we met in the spa was an extremely loud deep house party, which sounded all the way through the spa. The spa area in itself was fresh but overly crowded and loud (even when the music had stopped). After the spa, we'd booked a table in the restaurant. It was okay. Nothing more than that. We had a terrific waiter, but the food was mediocre and overpriced. After dinner, we were recommended to have some cocktails in the hotel bar. Great idea, we thought, as we love cocktails. However, we couldn't have been more disappointed. The drinks were wishy-washy and lacked soul. Perhaps, we just were unlucky with who served the cocktails. I'm devoutly sad about our stay, as Sankt Jörgen previously has been a top-standard place, able to compete internationally. I've spent numerous successful staycations with them, and have even organized work conferences in their facilities. Sorry to say, Sankt Jörgen Park has lost its spark, and I highly advise anyone to stay with them. At least if you intend to blow off some steam, and don't want to leave the place more drained than you were before.

I liked the size of the room, the setup of the bathroom, and overall decor. The room was way too hot though, which interfered with sleeping.

There was 7-8 people smoking in the hallways, drunk through the night and wa slicked up by the police in the morning. They should have been sent off in the evening once they started drinking. This was handled very poorly by staff

Great location, quiet, clean and comfortable rooms. Free, but slow wi-fi. Free parking.

Great stay and spa area. Superb dinner served by a knowledgeable and down to earth guy (CJ). Book the spa ritual separately, it's not included. Preferred the park view room to the atrium room.

Perfect location just a short trip away from Göteborg. Hotel, rooms and service were excellent. Setting is great with a nice ambiance and fragrance throughout the hotel.

Was quite easy to sightsee by car although we were out of city center.

We went for a two night stay, played golf (what a beautiful course! Staff very friendly and helpful!), relaxed in our room with a view of the course. Walked along the trails. Very relaxing, peaceful, fun! Shampoo and conditioner products were so awesome that I purchased extra to bring home with me. Shower was THE best. Lovely art throughout the resort. Restaurant meals and breakfast were very good.

A delightfully terrible experience. Firstly, hotel is really not in Gothenburg, it’s in an industrial estate outside. Secondly, we booked a suite which was beautifully done but nothing really worked, from the TV to the bath. Multiple people attempt to fix these things but couldn’t which was a little disappointing for £330 a night. Another thing to note is that the temperature is controlled centrally so if you are freezing in your room you just have to accept it. Similarly, the food was a pretty atrocious experience. As a vegetarian I am used to struggling when travelling but the veggie option was a veggie burger which would have been fine if that’s what it was but what turned up was a slab of unpeeled semi-raw celeriac between two McDonald’s style buns..... the saving grace is that the staff are lovely (if unable to do anything about issues).

Nice hotel. We got a room with a parking lot view. Twin bed put together, so i fell between the two beds. The bar closed early.

The hotel is located out side Gothenburg in a very quiet area and the woods are srounding the hotel. The spa is nice and the rooms are good size. All in all it is a place to R&R for few days.

Nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. Just wish it was made clearer that the pool is for 13 year olds and above. My 9 and 11 year old boys were devastated when they were not allowed in! I wouldnt have booked there in summer if I had known and we were with another family in the same position.For adults - a lovely hotel.

Properly is beautiful and staff are very pleasant. Great breakfast. Rooms facing the forest got very hot and AC is centrally controlled

Very beautiful hotel, great beds, tasty brekfast, clean and tastefully decorated. My daughter looked forward to the pool, but it turned out that it was not included in the price of our room - 1700 SEK (170 EUR) per night. And you have to pay 300 SEK per person to use the pool. The receptionist said that there was a question somewhere in the booking process if we wantd to include the "spa". There was not.

The hotel is of a very good standard and located in a large resort/leisure complex on the outskirts of Gothenburg. Facilities are impressive but our room did not have an outside view - it looked out over the bar in the atrium. I thought the room was very nice although my wife found the bed uncomfortable.

the hotel is not 5-star but really good nevertheless. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The biggest downside is it is about 20 min bus ride to the city center. The busses officially work until 3:40 am but in practice they stop running around 1 am. So if you go down to the city center for drinks or dinner try to be back early. Otherwise taxis are really expensive.

Exceptional hotel and spa. The hotel is very comfortable with a superb restaurant for both the breakfast and evening meal. The spa was exceptional in facilities, equipment, treatments and ambience. The gym was state of the art. The staff are very friendly and very helpful.

Nice'y appointed hotel a bit out of Gothenburg, with a spa and a golf course. However some of the rooms look out onto a central atrium which holds the bar. It is necessary to draw the curtains all day as otherwise you have people from the other rooms watching you in your room, so no natural light. And at night the bar noise comes into your room. And you can hear the noise in the corridoor and your room shakes when someone else closes their door. I had to sleep with earplugs. Maybe the forest-facing and golf-course facing rooms are better. Don't take an atrium -facing room.

The hotel is rather isolated from the centre of Gothenburg and it is essential to have a car to get to it. The rooms are very comfortable and it is a joy not to have to pay extra for the use of WiFi.
