We stayed 3 nights at the Atlantic Coast Inn in Ellsworth to visit with family in Lemoine. Our room was ok. King bed was comfortable. Lighting poor. Very humid despite A/C - carpet was always damp. Odd smell in the air - not dirty but very dated. Bathroom was updated but tub shower quite small. Water was hot and soap and hair products were provided in a wall dispenser - all were filled. It is quite tricky to get out of the parking lot if you want to go left. Lots of restaurants and shopping very nearby. Decent location - price was good. Staff was helpful. Not sure we would make the same choice again.

Great place for a reasonable price! Just stayed there for the weekend to do Acadia National Park. I like how you don’t have to worry about a room key, because it’s a pin pad. Also, Martha’s Diner across the street is a good breakfast spot.

Was very comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly.

The rooms looked like they were recently updated and were super clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked that you didn't need a "key" to your room, it was a code that you just typed into the keypad on your door. There was a table and two chairs between each room on the outside for sitting or playing games which was a nice touch. Despite being fully booked, we never heard anyone else while in our room. All that being said, they need to move their sign to the other side of the entrance so that people can see it better and so that you know which building is the office. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely be staying again.

Room was nice.

The room was clean and comfortable. Average amenities but included good bed, fridge and coffee maker. The motel is on a busy road but our room was quiet. There were restaurants within easy waking distance. The reception was unusual as there was no one on site. The owner texted us the room number and entrance combination.

Room had no closet nor clothes-hanging capacity. Staff reacted fast to request for iron and board. Staff frequently were not available, but phone response was OK.

The room smelled and appeared clean upon arrival. The bedding was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were clean. The next morning we found candy bar wrappers and mold behind the bedside tables. The room itself was small, which is fine, but the setup was odd. No counter space at all in bathroom. Smallest coffee maker I’ve ever seen in room. Not worth using. TV was very difficult to figure out. Restaurant was closed “for renovations”. Staff seemed fairly friendly, but had limited office hours. Someone was available by phone if needed. We had a family emergency and needed to leave three days early. There was plenty of vacancy, but they would only refund us one day. The manager asked if we would return for another stay. Umm, not a chance. I read some poor reviews before going and thought people were being too nitpicky. Not the case at all. Plenty of places to stay in the area. Do yourself a favor and choose another one.

Door lock not working correctly, shower was luke warm, toilet coming loose from the wall, no place to hang clothes…not even a hook, dirty wash clothes on top of shower. Nice tv, pleasant staff.

In particular, the bathroom smelled somewhat moldy. Other than that, the room was OK

Great stay.. not large, clean, a little over priced IMO but a great stay overall.

Requested the shower specifically be cleaned but they only emptied the trash and left new towels. Shower had not been cleaned in awhile evident by using Lysol wipes and had lot of dirt.

Housekeeping staff did a poor job of cleaning/straightening the room. Small room with no place to unload suitcases. No chair. Very limited tv channels. Personnel were not always available at front desk.

Perfect motel for a quick getaway. Wonderful attention to detail, the snacks were greatly appreciated. Room is clean, has all amenities you need. If we come back to Acadia for sure would stay here again

Moel style acomidation. Quiet, clean, renovated and very professionaly ran. We arrived late and front office staff went to great lengths to communicate with me with all the details for an easy self checking process. They texted, called me and responded to my questions promply. The attention to detail was very evident. Woukd 100% recomend and return. 😀

Clean, snacks in the room, and the receptionist was gracious.

This motel was clean but dated. It reminded us of a grandmother’s basement filled with mismatched furniture and decor. For the price we paid we expected something nicer. Maybe it’s time to get rid of the 90’s carpet. Also took several minutes of running the water to get the hot water, not very eco friendly.

Very nice room.

I ended up not staying here. It was run down, dirty. There were men sitting and standing outside my room area drinking alcohol, and I am a female traveling alone. I felt unsafe.

It is perfect for a quick stop

First time staying in a home with four room with a common kitchen area. Enjoyable and handy to breakfast and hospital which I travelled to for a few days.

It was a surprising gem. Not much to look at on the exterior but the rooms have been updated to be pretty and comfortable.
