The staff were really friendly and helpful, the apartment spacious and the kitchen well equipped. Our daughter really enjoyed the kids' club - which doesn't have activities every day though, so check the schedule before making plans if you want to use it. The only downside was the loud traffic right outside our otherwise really nice and big balcony (we were on the ground floor and often had to pause the conversation while cars passed by). I would definitely recommend this hotel for families.

Stayed with 2 young toddlers for a week and highly recommend. The 1-bed apartment was bigger than any other apartment we stayed in before, there was so much room for kids to play and run around. Bed and sofabed were very comfy. Aircon in entire apartment was handy. Two ceiling fans in bedroom and sitting area were ideal at night as we didnt even need to use aircon at night. Place was spotless. The kiddies pool was very big and plenty of beds around. There are 2 other bigger pools which we also used with the kids no problem. Pools had lifeguard too. Pool beds cant be reserved and not used or lifeguard will remove towels. Restaurant on site was fine for convenience but plenty of restaurants nearby anyway. Staff were all so friendly and very helpful. We loved the fact you have a whatsapp with reception so can just text anything you need and they were very prompt with providing. Location was perfecr for us, the marina was a nice 25min walk, bus stop across the road to fungerola/malaga etc, beach literally across the road too. We will definitely be returning.

Been at the Sahara Sunset for about 15 years (time share) great apartments , so clean and well equipped all with a balcony with table chairs sunbeds ,kitchen but always eat out . Great pool sunbeds ( if the bed if not used for a hour any towels are removed to stop hogging them all day)restaurant on site from early till late catering for all tastes , entertainment on most nights , gym , spa etc 5 min walk to the beach which is all sand (life guards on the beach) 10 mins to main town a quite area good for family not for party goes

A terrific stay - wish we would have booked more nights. The space was excellent for our family. Awesome balcony. Beach and plenty of restaurants nearby. Great breakfast at the restaurant onsite.

We liked the accommodation and the very friendly staff very much. Sahara sunset is very near to the beach and restaurants. Only minor comment is that there is some noise from neighbours when they move chairs: there are no felt pads under the chair legs.

Always receive a lovely welcome on arrival to Sahara Sunset. The staff are friendly (shout out to Caroline). They will do everything within their powers to give you an enjoyable holiday. The premises is located a minute away from the beachfront where there are a selection of well priced eateries. There are also bus stops nearby and (street) parking easily accessible. The apartment has everything you could need and comfy beds. They are a ecologically aware hotel too which is a nice touch. Will be back again in the not too distant future.

Great location with decent facilities, however let down by advisement of chromecast that did not work, so kids had to watch local TV channels after dinner. I was left with watching the iPad at night which wasn’t ideal. Staff at reception were great and speedy when booking taxis. Check in was slow and could be improved.

Fantastic as always. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

This property is like a home away from home. I really was not expecting how amazing this place is.. It is an apartment in a resort. Marble floors cleanliness, spacious and most importantly for anyone, well located to everywhere. MRS Caroline Hanssen was nothing but amazing at my check in.

Great hotel, I especially appreciated having a 2 bedroom option available. The staff was also very helpful and communiative.

We have stayed here before so booked a return trip, found the resort very tired, lots of extra add ons that weren't applicable before and the on site restaurant was shocking! I believe it is now under new management so this could explain the downfall

The people were very friendly. The room was very comfortable. The pool area was nice and we enjoyed lunch on the pool deck. It was an easy 1 block walk to the beach although we had to rent chairs at the beach as the hotel does not have its own beach area. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. It was about a 15-20 minute drive to get to old town Malaga.

From checking in to checking out all the staff, from receptionists to cleaning staff were all brilliant, helpful and friendly. Lovely resort, great location, clean and everything you could possibly want in an apartment down to the last detail. Best holiday we have had in ages!

Apartment was much nicer than expected, very modern and spacious. Pool and other areas kept very clean. Staff always friendly. Would definately reccomend this place.

Lovely apartment with a nice pool. Good facilities including a coffee machine. Great internet. Less than 10 mins walk to a good supermarket and nice restuarants. Laundry availabile for 6.5 EUR onsite.

Property was very clean and spacious, it had everything we needed and very close to bars, restaurants and the beaches Only one thing i would highlight, there was one pool guard who really rubbed folk up the wrong way with his unpleasant manner re taking towel off beds. He would go round placing paper notes on bed to warn people if not back in 30 mins they would loose their beds. You could be in the restaurant that the pool having lunch and he would still do it and not be pleasant about it. I would most certainly understand if the place was extremely busy but there were plenty of sunbeams free

Everything was super. the only thing that can be improved is the frequency of the towel changes.

If you like self catering, you will love this. Every conceivable thing you need is to hand, even an oven...plus all the little touches. Loads of extras. Great rooms, super comfortable bed and filtered tap water you can drink. No more lugging huge bottles back from the store. The only complaint was building work ongoing for 1 whole day, creating a lot of noise and dust. We had to go and sit inside ( The website stated work ongoing this year) . Apart from that pretty much perfect

Apartments are amazing . Very spacious , filtered water on tap , tv has English channels including Disney Channel. Full kitchen with washing machine , dishwasher microwave coffee maker etc. balcony has large table and chairs and private Sunbed’s . Location is perfect , right in middle of Benalmadena coast . Marina is a nice stroll away . They have 2 pools and an indoor pool . Sunbed’s can only be reserved for one hour so there was beds available at Al times of day and this was start of July when apartments was full . Couldn’t fault it . I have stayed in loads of different apartments but these are by far the best .

We stayed for 5 nights and we would go back in a heartbeat! Absolutely cannot fault anything with the apartment, the location, the amenities or the staff. All marvellous!
