A pleasant stay in a convenient location.Room was tidy bust sadly the bed was not all that comfy, and a lack of openable windows meant the room got rather hot.Shower was small, and the shower head broken, the whole bathroom was a little on the small size and I’m not a huge person.Value for money, I guess as good, I think I’d be happier paying I little less if I’m honest.

Fantastic hotel! The owner was very accommodating and kind. The triple room that we stayed in was large and perfect for a family of three. The continental breakfast was delicious and cost 8.50 euros per person. The location of the hotel was perfect for visiting Evian - very central and within steps to many restaurants, shops, and bakeries, but also very close to tourist attractions and the lake. Parking was cheap at the Tourism Office across the street. The only tiny issue that we had was a very weak wi-fi signal, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay!

This time all the hotels in Geneva were fully booked due to a conference. Was not sure what to expect but had a Very positive experience.

We had a terrible flight issue on our way to this hotel and Daniella kept in touch with us throughout our flight issues via email and provided us the overnight code and where to find our key in the case we made it to Evian overnight. Sadly, we missed an entire day in this fabulous town but the time we did spend there was great. The staff was so sweet and even comp'd our breakfast one morning because they felt badly about our traveling issues (and it wasn't even their fault!). The hotel is adorably old fashioned but not "old." Bathroom nicely updated. CANNOT beat the location for the price. They also recommended a great crepe restaurant which ended up being one of the best meals we've had on our trip. I'd highly recommend this hotel!

My wife and I stayed two nights in this hotel. It has a traditional feel with all modern conveniences. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and good value all round

The Continental is an easy walk from the train station and is on Evian's main shopping street. We found our room to be quiet and comfortable, and the price was unbeatable. The staff is super nice and the even have a great dog.

We enjoyed our stay, it was a pleasant surprise to book something from the Internet and have it exactly like its depicted to be. Very good value although the breakfast was a bit pricey for what it was. We would recommend this hotel. Very helpful.

Very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The owners could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable and the hotel itself was very comfortable, clean and quaint. I will definitely return and would recommend the place to others. Breakfast was a most enjoyable and relaxing experience in the beautiful breakfast room with classical music playing gently in the background.

We were quite pleased with this hotel. We travel with two children, ages 10 and 6, and it can be difficult to find good accommodations in Europe for four people. Hotel Continental was perfect for us. Our girls enjoyed sleeping in a bunk bed, and we greatly enjoyed the character of this hotel and its wonderful owner. We had a nice time in Evian and particularly enjoyed our excursions to Yvoire and Geneva. We failed to visit Lausanne or Montreux as planned, so we will have to return one day. If you are traveling with a large car--we drive a VW Multivan--the indoor parking garage is a very tight squeeze, but you can park on the street a short distance from the pedestrian zone (where the hotel is located) as well.

It seemed a little too early (and cold!) to expect a flourishing Evian, but the staff were friendly and the breakfast was perfect. Very clean traditional rooms.

A traditionally French hotel centrally located. No parking on site but there is public parking close by. Hotel staff were very helpful both with check-in and places to visit and eat. The room was clean and tastefully decorated in the french style. So no "boutique" here. Breakfast was adequate which we had mainly for convenience. Its central location was great in that we parked the car five minutes walk away and didn't need to go back to it for 3 days. Whilst the Rue Nationale is the main shopping area, being traffic free most of the time, the hotel was quiet. We were there at the beginning of Sept so most of the crowds had gone. As a consequence it was a bit annoying to think of dining at a location but to find it closed mid week, probably due to the fact there were fewer people about. This was also the case with some other things to do, such as the solar boat to visit the Water Gardens. But there were others recommended by the Hotel which were just as good. We took a cruise to historical Yvoire which was interesting and a pleasent way to wind down our holiday. The historical tour of Evian was interesting in that the map details didn't appear to replicate details/distance on the ground. But that's not the hotels fault. Good way the see the town nevertheless. All in all Hotel Contintental and Evian are worth a short visit.

Hotel Continental was unexpectedly nice for the price. The rooms were clean, the location was convenient, and the service was good. The breakfast is worth the extra cost. We's definitely recommend it!
