love the pool, the atmosphere and the other guests - gift shop a major plus as I always stock up on goodies there - love the Capri

First family outing with our 3 month old for a small getaway and this hotel was perfect! Our stay was so peaceful and relaxing. It was the perfect spot and very convenient that food and shopping is just down the street from the hotel. We would highly recommend and will be staying here again.

The whole hotel had a relaxing spa-like quality to it. Stayed in the middle of the week when there weren't many guests there. I was perfect!

The rooms needed more storage, a luggage rack, and seating. The bathroom was average and the design lackluster. The common areas were nice and the design was cool.

Renovation was happening during our stay . They comped a bottle of rose due to the nose. Water pressure was low, pool had a lot of leaves

We absolutely loved our stay at The Capri Hotel. Location is great - super walkable to shops and restaurants. The staff was so friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. My favorite part was how dog-friendly it was! The green space that our ground level patio room gave us access to was absolutely perfect for our dog to run around and play. We will definitely be back!

Great little hotel!

Check -in was easy, staff was very pleasant. The room was clean and the bed very comfy. The shower was just ok. It had very low water pressure and no door. The ac/heater was situated next to the bed so it blew directly on you while sleeping, which was not great. I would probably book a room on the top floor next time, it was pretty noisy on the 1st floor. Outdoor patio area was lovely, very well maintained.

This is an expensive motel.

My Stay at the Capri was fantastic! The hotel aesthetic is very Mid Century chic and very clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The private patios are spacious and well kept and our puppy loved the outdoor Common grass area with beautiful tropical garden. Having Wine and snacks delivered to us at the hot tub was so fun, and the outdoor lounge with fire pit was such an incredible vibe and best way to wrap up the evening before bed. I look forward to staying here again soon! The rooms were spacious and clean and perfect for our get away!

Perfect place to stay for a night or two close to downtown Ojai. Clean, comfy, modern. WiFi wasn’t the best and the walls are quite thin, but besides that we had a pleasant stay. Would happily stay again!

Such a wonderful stay! They even upgraded us to a nicer, bigger room that was available, free of charge. The only thing I would change would be to have complimentary coffee in the room! It was a peaceful and relaxing place to be and we can’t wait to come back.

Very clean property with attention to detail.

The pool area and options for seating areas was lovely. Simple and modern decor (indoor and outdoor). Grass area was nice for kids to run around.

The staff was honestly so rude and short. The hotel itself was cute enough but very overpriced.

The property was exactly how it was pictured and described on the website. Very cozy and zen! It seems to have been recently remodeled. The atmosphere inside the lobby and outdoor areas was great! We would definitely return.

This hotel is super cute. Very clean and new, modern/minimalist, good vibes. The bedding was extremely fluffy and comfortable, all of the lighting is dimmable which made it feel very cozy, big tiled shower, huge private patio (we were on the first floor) with shortcut access out a back gate right to the pool/jacuzzi area. It was fun to hang out by the fireplace in the lobby for a bit, or sit out by the pool by the fire pit. The only downside is what other reviewers have mentioned, that the walls are definitely thin. We could hear some footsteps above us and occasional voices, however the noise died down as it got later, and it would not deter us at all from staying there again. As a matter of fact, we’re already planning our next (longer!) stay. Really loved it.

Welcoming and friendly front office staff. Check in/out was smooth. Room and the facility overall was clean and comfortable. If hearing footsteps and noise from the rooms around will bother you, look for a different hotel.

We have had the most wonderful stay. Capri hotel is SO charming! Pool and hot tub are heated to the perfect temperature. The staff are so warm and friendly. Super comfy beds. The toiletries small fantastic. Can’t wait to stay again!

This hotel is super cute, cozy, modern, and nice. Everything about it was great, from the fire in the lobby fireplace when we arrived to the outdoor seating, pool area, parking area, and rooms. Everything was modern and clean. The staff is super friendly and accommodating as well. I will stay here again for sure.

A friend and I stayed in a two queen bed room. The room was redone very nicely and had good amenities without being too frilly. Good amount of closet space and surface area for putting things overall. The pool was stunning! So family-friendly, lots of good seating, comfortable lounge options. Walkable to town with cute thrift stores along the way. Especially liked Ojai Rotie. A wonderful getaway amid a long work trip for me!
